OP, let me start by stating it's a wrong move 'threatening' people who don't know you with your own possible suicide. Many don't care because they have their own issues as well.

The more appropriate approach would have been to simply beg for assistance. And if worse comes to worst, you shelve school for now and go learn a skill. There are many jobless graduates out there!

Don't even think about taking your life. Hell is real and is eternal, forever! You surely don't want to end there.

Peace.

You have to learn life first.

Life is not a about getting everything you want.

And one bad day, does not equate a bad life.

In the good old days, we'll go out and have a drink at the bar with strangers or go see a game when we are having a bad day.

Now, y'all just stare at your phone and assume your many online friends are worth anything. No they're not.

Go out and experience nature, meet new people and find new habits.

Don't drown in your misery.
Words of wisdom, sire! I assume this is an experienced man who thinks.

I have interest in acquiring some programming skills. Although I'm aware that there's enough information to fall back on online, I find it hard to get myself together to do serious study. These days it's become tougher reading without something to motivate me, say, near-term benefits. I have become lazy, I know.

Now, I came across a six-day training on software programming and I'm wondering: what difference will six days make?

To the more knowledgeable ones, do you think it will be worthwhile paying for such a short training?

Please your input is needed. Thanks.

Another sad and shocking story. My attention was drawn here from a thread in the travel section supposedly by the deceased.

I actually thought it was a joke when someone mentioned on that thread that BornAgainMay was dead. He had posted about four days earlier (July 4) on that thread! shocked

I don't think I can ever understand why someone would kill himself when no worse death is awaiting him.

It's shocking how low the value of life has become in this country. Because of $2000 - less than N750,000? I'd rather do menial job or take up certain businesses I don't feel cool about, albeit not illegal, to pay up gradually.

Life is always worth more than any amount of money, even when everything appears gloomy.

What's worse with suicide is what may follow in the afterlife. Not worth it!

Your interest should be around N7500 before deduction of transaction & custody fees which should not be upto N200.. So you should have a think 7,300. The interest is at most a day after the actual investment. However if you choose to reinvest you will get it when you investment matures.
N200, what bank?

The lowest I have been charged for investment in about the same range was N300 - I think that was for 200k. I was charged about N700 for a transaction of 400k (my highest), if I remember correctly, last year or early this year. Access and Stanbic.

So, it helps to know what bank is that.

For example, a language that can used to write scripts that can collect specific information on websites or from search results - something like an information harvester, nothing illegal though.

Hello Brother,
Thank you for your message but let me correct you for certain things.... If you may know me by now you will notice that I always love to help ppl I don't know and I think that's my secret of wealth and I won't deny that but as you can see, in my country Nigeria some ppl do abuse the privilege of that.. I know so many ppl that have multiple account just to collect money from me and sometimes I feel like given more here is not worth it and instead I always do it outside here.....

Regarding my depression, I'm a human too, when someone is accusing me of being a scammer when am not and even posting my pictures on the forum instead of posting the scam things for ppl to see and if am guilty, I will apologies but I am yet to see the scam thing they accused me of.. now they switched their lies that am posting a hype on my blogs... Thanks to God they said on my blog not here on Nairaland cheesy cheesy but what they forget to learn is that, I am a blogger and as a blogger, a lot of companies are paying me upto $5000 for a year to advertise their product on my blog... so should I know reject the money when the purpose of my blog is to make money.. I can accept any form of advertisement on my blogs as far as you agree on the amount I will tell you but not porn advert oo grin grin grin...........

Even Linda Ikeji is publishing those advert too that's why she uses Sponsor post and the least price she accept per post is 250k to 1million depending the type of advert but my business is never meant for Nigerians....all my blogs posts talks about business ideas etc and not meant for come and invest thing or scam thing.....even the almighty JOHN CHOW.. google his name is earning $1.5 million dollars a year promoting the same hype this person is accusing me of.......

Anyway, I've decided not to reply them over there but what I know is that, their lies will visit their families and their unborn child to come... they can't accused me and get away with it because I've cried to God to visit anyone that have hands on this one by one and it must surly be so because my word never goes in vain...

Peace.
Hello! I was reluctant to comment on this issue you're having, which I started seeing signs of yesterday night or so. This is because I don't know you that much, but I had seen your posts in the past offering assistance.

I think the main reason I decided to comment is the talk of depression. Whoa. For what?

I think what can bother me so much is when I don't have money for what I need or when it seems life is not going as desired. I maybe be wrong, though, but that's what I think. I don't care what you think about me, so long my conscience is clear before my creator.

I'll advise you to simply look past haters and continue what matters in your life. Don't bother about what some people may think of you. Just make sure your conscience is clear before your Creator. That's the only thing that matters.

It's possible that some of those against you without justification, especially those liking 'opposing' posts, may be people you have refused to help. As you said, many people got in touch for help.

I think I might have gotten in touch as well at some point for tips or strategies you use. I never got a reply, but that's no reason to hate you. It's not compulsory that someone must help you in this life if God doesn't approve.

I will reiterate again: if you are clean and legit, worry not. Cheers!

I used majorly Bet9ja... Someone talked about Marathon bet and Ladbroke... I have registered with ladbroke.. funded and just got verified.. Am waiting to receive my withdrawal before I will share the full process here... From my observation 1xbet is okay for low stakers who stake on straight win and over goals.. Once you stake on other options, they will mark the ticket they choose as loss and tell you it's their decision and you can't do anything about it... These same options is why many people registered with them, So it's better we remain with our local bookie bet9ja or merrybet.. if you have international passport and utility bills then register with bet365 and other foreign bookies
You're so correct about the bold part, bro. I already quit trying to experiment ways to win this staking thing for good after different strategies failed.

But when I saw the "easy" options those people have, I say make I try again. The thing still no dey easy. I had an experience of them declaring a game a loss after recording another game's result instead. As you stated, they maintained their decision was right despite all proofs presented

Beware, people! Wagering is a wild west. Those bookies can deny you of your winnings and you may not be able to do anything about. You should especially run away if all you do is lose and can't break even before your life gets ruined.

OP, I must say this lengthy post is a waste of space. I'm tempted to think you are a lecturer doing something similar or someone in cahoot with such persons.

What give and take are you talking about here? Should there even be any? Oh! In your mind, there's nothing wrong asking for sex in return for marks? Good grief!

Now, you're talking about someone's career being ruined. What's wrong in exposing those doing evil? Do you know how many people's lives such loose academics have ruined by their evil actions?

With all due respect, it's annoying seeing someone trying to defend such immoral acts. It's little wonder evil thrives in this country. What a shame!

I wanted to pass this by, but decided I should add my thought, even though I don't think I am in a position to help.

While no one is above mistake, I must say you made a wrong move with that 1 milly, Jeff. Many people are even looking for less than 10% of that to start a biz.

The decision to leave the country after your settlement was a wrong one. I want to assume you know now.

I think you must have business acumen with the years of experience of serving under someone. Many of us wish we have that. I believe there are many opportunities for any business-minded and determined person to explore in this country, especially with N1 million available.

Be aware that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

You didn't mention how much you have left out of your settlement. If you still have about 50-100k left, I'd suggest you make the business section of this forum your friend. Great ideas are sometimes provided there, but please ignore the betting thread and related.

I like the fact that you don't want to do something illegal. Please stay true to that.
