Mirabel2032:You're welcome, buddy. ![]() |
Mirabel2032:I can't help much, but I think at all na him bad. ![]() Just find your way to Yaba or Jibowu. You can take the blue BRT bus to Fadeyi or any bus going to Yaba from Ketu. When at either of those places, don't be shy to ask the people, especially transporters, for direction. I think that place should be in the vicinity of UNILAG, if I remember that area well. |

yinka2011:Thank you. Too bad I kinda miscalculated. Thought I saw on a calendar that it would be this week. My mistake. To think I have been waiting since January 25. ![]() |
Hello. Could someone confirm if there will be auction this week? Thanks! |
Received a mail from Stanbic with regard to this last year. This is no good news to the common man. In fact, it's sad for such, even those who have clean hands. All laws in this country have the masses as target, not the rich and powerful. With all measures they have taken before now, how many fraudulent people at the top have they caught? These people continue to have a field day. The system in this country is a fraud! It is hard to trust anything that relates to the government, and not just the current one. |

DzTzl: Hmm... How we go take do am na? Hmm. Okay, codedly pass me the one you get via PM.The bonuses are in two parts, you know? Just that it's the 9mobile portion that's been wasting the most. My story dey long, abi? I know. Na so we see am. |
DzTzl:Matured mind, huh? Whatever that is. We can be friends if you have a 9mobile number. These bonuses are just wasting. I wan dey use them. ![]() |

Shuo! So this thread still dey active? I greet all drillers in the house. Una never still find the thing? ![]() |
Purebeerry:Um, um...30 billion! |
Suprnov3r:Word. Keep it up! @OP A lot of things are out there to shake one's faith. I don't think anyone can completely understand the way of God. Some things in this life are mysteries. I don't bother much about them. My belief is that if you are good or considerate towards others you are not very far from God's Kingdom. This matters more to me than being able to explain religions and doctrines. We have many religious people these days. Yet, does it not surprise you when you hear of people killing, maiming, raping or doing all kinds of evil under the guise of religion? Don't bother too much about what you don't understand. It probably benefits you nothing seeking explanations. Such futility is part of what makes some conclude there is no God. Worry more about what's supposed to be the core of any true religion: love of God and care for fellow men. |

NwaAmaikpe: UbanmeUdie:You guys can go ahead and clap for yourselves. With statement such as the bold, it shows you are already in heaven. But I don't envy you. One said Catholics don't read the bible - his opinion. But somehow, he never paid any regards to the advice given in Matthew 7:1-5. Interesting. He took upon himself the role of the ultimate Judge. I even think you're comparable to the hypocritical leaders Jesus used to criticize back then. If you were in their shoes, you'd most likely have said the thief who expressed belief in Christ on the cross wouldn't make heaven. Chances are that people who never even knew or believe in Jesus may even make even before you, in my opinion. Or can you say with all certainty that the Jews who practice Judaism won't enter heaven since you have made yourself a judge? Funny country. So many religious people, yet evils abound. Hypocritical living! Remove the log from your eyes first to be able to see and remove the speck in your brother's eyes. |
Franky826:Of course, I'm aware that Google has access to so much information about people than majority of such persons are aware of. Users are being tracked without their knowledge. My main reservation about Truecaller is that it makes that information available to just about anybody. That's not good for privacy. Ever wondered the source of the odd names that may pop up after calling a number not already on your contact list? |
Thanks for the responses, friends. @ banjicom, I have a smartphone on which I have installed Truecaller for this reason. I just don't like the intrusiveness of the app. I think it uploads your contacts to its server.Does the Xiaomi dialer work on any Android phone, Franky826? Markwayne89, I don't feel like abandoning the line for this singular reason. Thanks. |
sholatour:Booking space on a thread you started? That's weird. ![]() |
mrphysics:I have sent you a message request, sir. Thanks. |
Please does anyone here have any idea on how to keep 'flashers' off your line? I mean when you aren't using a phone with call-blocking capability. A little background info. Some odd persons have been dropping calls or 'flashing' my line. One (08147444928) did that continuously, practically every day, for about a month. I called on the third day and he started talking gibberish after initially responding in a 'normal' manner. Another one (07010669291) soon took over when the first got tired a bit. This one flashes like every other day. As in the previous case, I called on the third occasion, hiding my number. He was telling me trash that I won some car promo or something. MTN and Airtel have refused to do anything, saying it's beyond them. They directed me to tell the police. Seriously? Shouldn't this be as simple as barring their numbers? Yet, MTN has no code for blocking calls from specific numbers. Can anyone help? |
Omaa1, please take it easy on yourself. Accept what life throws at you and make the most of it. Refuse to be depressed and troubled. Your story sounds so much like mine, just that I'm a little older. I refused to be disheartened, even as I be man so. I make conscious efforts to keep from brooding. For instance, I go on a stroll or to a public place to distract myself from depressing thoughts. I'm almost always doing something partly for this reason. As for job, you could consider online opportunities while hoping something better comes along. I think mrphysics is in a better position to guide you on this. Take things easy on yourself. Cheers! mrphysics:I don't think you should feel empty, bro. No relationship? That's strange to me, especially given you have a regular job. You can start with your colleagues. I believe you can meet new and interesting people through them when you do things together. Can you give a bro heads-up on the Fiverr stuff, please? I wish I were in your shoes. With earnings such as the one you mentioned, I think I'd deal with empty feeling more easily. Please show me the way. |
Threats of bare-chest protests no go work for this country. You sef go fear fear when you see people that ought to protest toting their phones to capture the 'action' for later viewing. ladyF:Make I go get my binoculars. |
Olamibola23:You're just starting to be like me. I don't put too much hope on anything promised. It may never come. This is not about being dull, my brother. It only meant God didn't intend this for you. Just hope that something better is around the corner. And yes, try to always be on the lookout for things you can do to help yourself. This may not only be about tribalism or nepotism. I'm afraid the so-called 'federal character' is a pain in the a*s we have to deal with. In my mind, I think these people may actually be monitoring your account balances and inward transfers, using this to assess if you are indeed 'needy.' I think all those can be done using your BVN. That's just what I think, though. |
joinnow:You can work with the suggestion by joinnow, especially if not in Lagos. I got one for 28k around February when the exchange rates were very high. And that's in Lagos. |
yanshDoctor:Bro, you probably didn't have the problem of malware, judging by your post. This type are the ones that cause ads to pop up on your screen. Clicking anywhere will redirect you to some page elsewhere. It's a way of getting ad (Adsense) revenue. They also send your info to an unknown, remote server. If you didn't get such pop-ups, you probably didn't have such issue. These people often add malware later. I have had similar issue on Play Store in the past. It was then I learnt they do include malicious codes in update. Avast and Kaspersky can detect them. But they get re-installed automatically when you uninstall them. It's when a person roots that he can remove the malware completely. |
