Those of you saying North Korea is better than Nigeria obviously don't know what time it is.

The mere fact that you can post this online while in Nigeria means you don't have any idea of what freedom you have. Dare you live in North Korea and post such poo saying another country is better.

what will I gain by lying!?? this may encourage someone!! our friendship has gone to the extent that she even knew my family!! we took her as our family!! show love to someone Bruh!!
I don't quite get it myself.

The use of a word like 'often' and something about visiting cinemas in the latter part of your post made the only narration sounded like something that happened way beyond 6 days ago.

GRAMMARJAMES:
honestly speaking, depression is real!! I saved a girl from committing suicide just last Friday. her story is similar to that of Aisha just that she wasn't accused of being a witch. her parents neglected her and stop paying her school fees, she decided to use what she has to get what she wants and unfortunately for her, she was diagnosed with Hypertitis B". I saw her buying sniper in a supermarket at night. I looked at her, she's very pretty and mere looking at her, she's depressed. I gradually followed her and I discovered she's talking to herself and walking majestically. I approached her and ask her what's wrong and where she was going. she burst into tears and couldn't say a word. I took her home, she showered, eat and sleep, twas D following morning she narrated her story. I adviced and encourage her, SUICIDE is never the option. we are best of friends now. we often visit hospital together for her vaccines and afterwards we grab launch together and visit cinemas. she's fun to be with. PLEASE LET'S OBSERVE PEOPLE AND APPROACH THEM IF WE NOTICE SOMETHING IA WRONG.
Way to go.

But, sir, did you really mean all what you described later happened within the past week? huh

Sad. May God have mercy on her soul.

I will never understand why someone would choose to end their own life. huh To me, it shows lack of proper reasoning and knowledge of what comes in the afterlife.

To whomever may be reading this, please endeavour to speak to God and anyone you feel care about you if you ever started having suicidal thoughts.

You may also speak to me; but note that I'm not a doctor, psychologist or counsellor. Just try to be close to people that can show real concern and help you see life beyond just one perspective.

We shouldn't hesitate to share our issues with people who love us. It's a shame that this individual had such, but probably never opened up to them.

Most importantly, let's realise that there's always God there when we seem all alone with our problems. He still loves you when no one else seems to.

I am very careful whenever it comes to banking/savings.

The sim I use for my bank is at home, while my other two Sims, I use them when going out/ to work.

The best is to have 3 accounts. One for life savings, another for future, and the last one for spending of which must not be more than 30k.

The other two would be for millions.

Also, watch out for those people behind you while at the atm/ pos stands, some of them are there to monitor your entries, always made sure when inserting your pin that do it secretly by using ur one of your hands to cover the other while inserting your pin.
Says who? I get like two times that! Yet, I no even get any amount near a million in any of them. cheesy It's partly because of things like this.

I hardly move around with more than one ATM card at a time. And that will often have the lowest balance of all.

I no go let anyone deprive me of the dough wey never do me sef. cheesy

India and Nigeria are kinda similar. The only difference is the two things you mentioned.
Sure we need to evolve. My 14 days on Zwerl taught me how myopic Indians and Filipinos are.
They can't type English correctly, the don't know much things other than Medical related stuffs.
Generalisation isn't a good thing. You can simply say the ones you have had to relate with.

Someone who reads a random text online by a Nigerian could say the same about Nigerians in general. You'd be appalled when you read some posts on here.

Actually, people from the Philippines are sometimes treated as native English speakers in somewhat the same way as those from places like the U.S. and Australia on online writing marketplaces, such as Upwork.

Health › Re: Do You Have Any Problems With Your Eye? by U1(m): 2:36pm On Nov 21, 2018
Drtimon:
Hello im really sorry about the confusion some of our Nigerian practsioners cause in recent time.. the problem with most of us today is greed, most people tend to over-step their boundaries for Money.. let me spell it all out to you;

An Ophthalmologist (MD) has a medical degree and is licensed to practice medicine and perform eye surgery. An ophthalmologist has had at least 12 years of education and training beyond secondary school and is qualified to diagnose and treat all eye diseases; perform surgery; prescribe and fit glasses and contact lenses.

An Optometrist (OD) has a degree in optometry and is licensed to practice optometry. An optometrist has had at least six years of education and training beyond secondary school and is qualified to determine the need for glasses and contact lenses; prescribe optical correction; screen for some eye conditions; and provide the primary eye care.

An Optician usually has a combination of college (or two years of opticianry school) and on-the-job training. An optician is trained to fit and dispense eyeglasses or contact lenses based upon a prescription from a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist.

But today, no offence intended- when some opticians makes enough money, he rents somewhere and tags it “eye clinic” meanwhile all he knows how to do is to fit lenses.. the opticians may have spent some time with either an optometrist or an ophthalmologist so he learns how to measure a persons refractive error & when you go there, best believe he would give you glasses. (This can only happen in Nigeria)

And as for the drugs bit, i know some eye clinics that would never let a patient leave without giving the patient at least; an eye lubricant. In other words, they always prescribe drugs.. please dont let the sin of a few men affect the profession at large.

I am a proud optometrist, and i know my Job. We give lenses where they are required, drugs when they are, and referrals to ophthalmologists when the condition goes beyond the scope of our practice.

Thank you
Thanks for the comprehensive response, doc. Your explanation actually seems to confirm my misgivings about some of these clinics. Is there any tips on how to tell the correct ones?

Hello i am an eye doctor, and I’m open to free eye care consultation
Thanks for the opportunity, Doc.

I have a simple question: is it safe to assume there is an ophthalmologist in an eye clinic? Or could such have just an optometrist or even an optician?

It appears my vision has worsened considerably in recent months. I wish to have my eyes examined, but not for the primary purpose of glass prescription. My current glasses are still perfect, I believe. I only wish to be sure there's no serious problem in there.

PS: And please may I know why some clinics don't prescribe drugs? I learnt there are some that may help, but practitioners (at least the ones I have encountered) preferred prescribing glasses all the time?

So sad. Have you tried reaching out to organisations that assist with fundraising, including media houses? You should try and do that if you haven't.

The 500k you required should not be difficult to raise, or so I believe, if you can get a trusted third party to verify this case for you. These days, many people are afraid of falling for scammers, even though they feel like helping.

You may also consider using a site such as gofundme.com. It might help.

May God be with her and you all.

You wanna hear some lazy man investments?

Smiles... No...

First I started with affiliate marketing... I set it up while working full time. It took over a year to make $50.

The aim is to keep expenses to the barest minimum while working hard.

Once it started gaining traction. I veered off into blogging and started selling information products.

It wasn't hard to start earning $600 monthly.

I dived into Amazon kindle publishing...

End result was that within 6 months just clocking 25, I was there...

Then I already gain traction. Everything is now automated...

I still kept my 7 - 4 job.

The aim is to keep expenses very low. Do away liabilities like phones, shoes and new clothes and reinvest profit

I don't have any liquid assets, I love making my profits myself and saving the others.
You know I sit here wondering how you managed to do all that and still keep a full-time job. Some people who don't even have a full-time job find all those too much to combine at the same time - for example, blogging and Kindle publishing.

If you'd oblige me, may I know the nature of your job? Just tryna figure how you managed it.
