COMPAQ: You all should also remember that it's not every country in Europe that has bullet trains.
The Greece, Bulgaria, Romania etc of this world don't have. So if we have trains that run at that speed, e haven't done too bad.
For your info virgin trains pendolino trains between London and Manchester operate at 250kph, so if we do 150kph we ain't that bad. Are you minding Nigerians, if they bring those bullet trains and are asked to pay what is comparative with other countries using bullet trains they'll still complain. Next thing will be that it's not for the masses |

Omooba77: Is the township stadium still functional? I will still find time to travel round Uyo again. The last I came could only touched Oron road, Abak road, Brooks, Wellighton Bassey, Ikot Okubo, Federal Secretariat..... Yes it still functional, Akpabio renovated it before he left, Akwa United play some games there as well when they don't make use of the new stadium. |

onyxo76: sit down there, don't you think they would have thought about that before banning use of fossil fuels But the thing is that oil can never be totally irrelevant, they're other by products of petroleum like natural gas, plastic, fertilizer etc tho I'm not encouraging Nigeria not to diversify her economy. |
Car Talk › Re: France To Ban All Petrol And Diesel Vehicles And Every Oil Products By 2040 by ubox: 8:32am On Sep 07, 2017 |
shervydman: the time has come for our leaders to think further than oil. by 2040,nobody will need our oil again. they don't run generators in developed countries. Germany and India to ban the use of oil products in 2030. Netherlands and Norway to ban theirs in 2025.
I fear for the future if we still generate 90% of our foreign revenue from oil products. the world is thinking green, our government is thinking black(crude oil).
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/06/france-ban-petrol-diesel-vehicles-2040/ I will love to see how they will run their airplanes, ships abi electric airplanes dey |

Zambia are on 4pnts and if they go on to win all remaining games and we lose all of ours
Zambia 13pts Nigeria 12pts With the way we're playing, we can't loose all the games |

neoapocalypse: A win alone doesn't qualify us , if we win our next match and lose the last two we will be on 12 points and either Algeria or Zambia win all their remaining matches they will be on 13 points ( a point ahead the super eagles ). In fact a win and a draw doesn't give us automatic qualification yet. Assuming we draw with Cameroon in the next match , win Zambia and lose to Algeria in our next matches we will be on 13 points and Algeria wins all it's remaining matches ( two with Zambia , one with us and one with Cameroon ) we will both be on 13 points and the decider will be the goals difference This one match gave us enough goal difference tho |
Politics › Re: How Is Electricity Power Supply In Your Area? by ubox: 10:43am On Sep 02, 2017 |
slimfit1: It is senseless idea for osun to be generating power with olorunsogo etc sending it to national grid first before returning to osun again the amount of generation lost in the transfer is what is killing the system in the first place. same thing with ibom power plant in akwa ibom if not the whole state will be enjoying constant electricity. the constitution needs a change concerning power. |
