Hey Tara,

Here's what to do.

Invite her to your marital home.  Cook a nice meal for all of you.  Your husband and child must be present too.  Once you've all finished eating, send your kid upstairs to his or her bedroom and to stay there.

After this, just go naked right in front of her (I mean complete starkers).  Whilst pointing to your boobs, say that those were what you used to feed the child with whom she had just shared a meal.  Ask her as to whether she would like her own child to be without a dad.
Is the problem with the lady or with the man? undecided Methinks that the problem is with the man.

Ur solution sounds ludicrous to say the least but even if it works, the woman might leave but the man would surely find another lady.

How do U keep the man interested in the mother of his child?

Thank you!!

Majority of America remains against the "BAILOUT". Over 100 Harvard, MIT and other Ivey League Economics have written letters stating their position AGAINST the plan.
U just stated those against the "Bailout". However, U chose to forget that there are also a sizeable number that support the Bailout.

I am still grappling with the concept and consequences of this Bailout thingy. Dont know much about it to really form an opinion here but going from Ibime's analysis , it seems the economy is screwed either way,,,,,,, Bailout or no Bailout! The question is now which option attracts the less casualty.

Negro_Ntns:
On the bailout point, Obama's campaign is running on a "Change" platform, how is injecting public fund to further create and expand corruption a CHANGE?
Once again, I have to beg U guys to indulge me (Gosh, I shoulda taken more economics classes grin) . But why would the injection of public fund create more corruption. Why dont they inject more fund to save the situation (short term) and then gradually weed out those policies and probably person(s) that connived to cause this mess. I assume once public funds are used then the Govt would have a lot more say in whats going on in Wall Street.

Basically, what I am saying is injection of funds followed by a tighter regulation.

What I really want is advice from nigeian men because they are the only ones who are the closest to knowing whats going on in my husband's head!
U should be asking ur husband that. Whatever is going on in his head would be known best to him and not to some strangers.

Also, I know of some other person that might know. YOU. U have lived with him for 7 years.

Foreign AffairsRe: The Bailout! by Uche2nna(m): 11:39pm On Sep 30, 2008
What really bothers me in this issue is that a bill prepared and supported by a republican president, a republican appointed secretary of treasury and even the Chairman of the Fed was still defeated by a majorly Republican vote.

Now they are blaming Nancy Pelossi. If Nancy's speech was able to make most of the republican change the direction of thier voes, then I wonder what kind of ideologies they lay claim to. Ideologies that could be thrown out because of a passionate and sentimental speech

The burning question that I have, maybe Ibime might help me out, is that what other options are left ?

Given the number of cars this Inspired of a guy has sold , I have always considered him the real deal. And to be honest, I find the price tag on most of his cars very enticing. Always wondered how he comes up with such competitive prices.

If he is a fraudster , one of his clients should have already been here screaming wolf. I find it curious that none has tendered any misgivings and the only misgivings have been tendered by competitors  undecided

Be that as it may, it is very easy to clarify. VIN is no big deal, Inspired. To clear the air, why dont U post the VIN that these guys requsted or is there something we dont know?  undecided

CultureRe: Time To Abolish Bride Price by Uche2nna(m): 8:31pm On Sep 23, 2008
Ndipe:
Dowry is a list of items the parents and family of the bride give to the bride to start a new married life with her hubby.

Bride price is the amount of money paid by the groom to the bride's father to 'compensate' for the 'loss' of their daughter.

At first, I was completely against it, but in all matter of fairness, I don't think it should be abolished. When you look at it this way, it's almost equal on both sides, since the parents are contributing to the marriage ceremony (aka feeding the guests, and buying up some items for their daughter), while the groom is responsible for providing money to the bride.
Are U talking about the Igba Nkwu. Cos I have seen a few ceremonies where Kata Kata burst cheesy The bride's side of the family kept on accusing the bridegroom that he did not bring enough dough for the ceremony grin

Anyways, about the bride's side of the family contributing to the Church wedding expenses, I do rather they did not in my case. That way I can do it the way I had always wanted to do it,,, quiet, quick , private and low keyed. I dont want the family inviting the whole village grin
SportsRe: Nigerians To Buy Newcastle United FC? by Uche2nna(m): 5:40pm On Sep 23, 2008
Dis Guy:
I don't have a problem where or how they spend their money but i have a problem with the bad image the country will be getting when the almighty sun newspaper and other British media start fishing for information about the 'group' and their background!!! the papers will be looking to trace their history (financial, marital, educational blah blah) and if they don't find it, they will add one plus one together sharp sharp!

and you can bet theyve started already!!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/sep/23/newcastleunited.premierleague
lol

Anyways, the money belongs to them and they are welcomed to spend it as they deem fit. I understand why people are wishing that the money was invested in Naija. I do share that view but if wishes were horses , beggars would ride, innit.

Now from a business point of view,
Running a premier club (especially one with a history and ambition such as Newcastle) is no joke. It requires long term planning , investment and many years of having a deficit in the books. Knowing Nigerians, would they have that kind of patience. grin

Moreover, the bid is made by a consortium (whatever that means in the Nigerian parlance grin). I dont know if all the members of the consortium are on the same page on what it takes to run a premier league club. Chris Nat. might be passionate about football , what about the others? What prevents one of the members from saying "I know do again, gimme my money" grin

More worrisome is the fact that the consortium is going around RAISING money. Lets say they eventually buy it, what happens then? Where dem go get the money for day to day expenses? undecided Just curious.

Great game!!!!

Man U played thier hearts out and would be right to feel hard done conceding that goal 11 mins to full time. J. Evans played really well for a youngster. That match should cement his place in the team.

Someone needs to do something about one Mr Anelka. That guy is becoming a waste of footballing kit angry
