Never forget, that God hasn't finished with me yet I feel his hand on my brain When I write rhymes, I go blind, and let the lord do his thang 2pac (Ghetto gospel) |
Tayo-D:That only seems to accentuate Dayo's point that Israel is not indiscriminate in their targets. However, this is almost the fifth day of Israel's assault on Gaza and a lot of organisations have been calling for a truce (including the US) to at least enable humanitarian aid into the area but Israel wont budge ![]() |
savanaha:So ur advise would depend on how gorgeous he is? Ur advise is already skewed if that is the cas.@ poster It is either U want to marry this dude or not. This is not a multiple choice situation. If U want to marry this guy, go ahead . Of course there would be some hurdles to jump and evade from both family and society. But hey, it is ur life and U live it how u wanna. Damn the consequences. It does not matter if U marry a 24 yr old or a 60 yr old man , as long as it is marriage there would be hurdle to jump. It would also be nice to try and push to meet his family. That way U can guage what kind of challenges U would likely be encountering. And that would also allow the dude to see first hand what kind of civil unrest he would be setting off. If after all that , he is still resolute to tie the knot, then girl count urself lucky and remenber to send me an invite ![]() |
*Toyinrayo:Yup,, school and stuff. U know how it goes. *Toyinrayo: ![]() |
sexytov:So what sort of counsel do U really expect to get form NL? To marry him or not to marry him? Girl, U know the situation better than anybody else and U really have to make that decision urself. |

@ Zheroes That was right on. Polydactyl it is called and it comes in different varieties. Sometimes it could be anterior , sometimes posterior. However, I am not sure if there is any that occurs without apparent cause like u postulated. I am willing to wager that all polydactyl are as a result of some genetic defect. The genetic and molecular signalling that occurs in the development and patterning of the limb during embyronic development is huge and under intense and fine regulation. Polydactyl without any apparent cause just means that the cause have not been identified yet. LOL @ those assuming that a sixth finger means some kinda sixth sense. Far from it, it just means that genes like Shh, Tbx3, Gli3, Hoxd12 to mention but a few have gone awry in one form or the other ![]() |

I heard the stuff on BBC or maybe BBC is not western enough As for the other outlets (Fox and Co), religious riots in Nigeria is nothing new. It happens once every 3 months. |
Why dont U set the ball rolling ![]() |
vicade:.Even the IFE/Modakeke stuff is an ethnical example and so is the IJAW/Itsekiri incident. The key is

Yup, and I can cite more of these ethnic disturbances. But here is the question tho, how frequent and random is it compared to religious riots. In religious riots, people die and don't even know what they are dying for. Same can not be said of ethnic clashes. There is no killing that can be morally justified (religious or ethnic) but if there is an uprising in Nigeria the chances that it is religious is very high and the chances that it emanated from the North is even way higher. To me thats the issue at hand right here |
And before U go off on how we always blame the Hausas and Islam as a major cause of restiveness of the North, I always ask : Is it just a coincidence that most of the religious riots have occured in the north. And U are absolutely, right!!!! We just going to sit on our butt and wait for another one to happen. And I bet U know where it is going to happen again and it is not in the South. |
U guys are funny, @ Jos I said disturbances as in "People actually going out to kill other people". Thats why I used the civil war as a standard. Geddit? Now U are pointing to diseases. U might as well point to road accidents, aircraft mishaps, flooding. The list is endless @ Kobo Sometimes I worry that U have been out of Nigeria far too fucking long Or maybe U just like to argue (The jury is still out on that ) List one ethnic disturbance U know of in Nigeria in the past decade and I would list 5 religious riots to match that. |
JosBoy4Lif:It is those guys who use religion as an excuse to stir up trouble that are hell bent in seeing the dissolution of Nigeria. U cant keep espousing ONE NIGERIA while every chance U get, U kill ur fellow Nigerians Aint that just hypocrisy Kobojunkie:Apart from the civil war, religious riots have claimed more lives than any other disturbances in Nigeria. Remove that from the equation and the chaos U are talking about will drop dramatically. |
JosBoy4Lif:So must we have to deal with that Nigeria has been in existence for the past 40 something years and we have to deal with this crap all the time. Is it not about time we do saomething about it. JosBoy4Lif:Even tho I admit that this might not be the panacea to our problems , I still cant but be amazed at how tenaciously U guys hang onto Nigeria. U guys have made it very clear in actions and in words that there is no zero tolerance for people of other ethnic groups vis a viz other religious leanings. So why is the break up of Nigeria such a bad idea. ![]() JosBoy4Lif:How long do we need to educate them What is far more educating than corpses and burning houses and property. It is not like this is the first time this is happening and I bet my black ass this wont be the last time. And next time again it happens, U guys would play the education card again.I posted before that one reason that religious sentiments and bigotry is so easy to stir up in the North is the high incidence of the almajiris. Now instead of a poster by the name Muza to either refute my claims or even point out more pertinent ways to go about this matter, he just called me a fool and walked away I assume he is one of the educated lot. ![]() I was in the middle of the Kano riots (heck, nearly lost my life on more than one occasion before my family decided to relocate) and each time the cannon fodder for the riots had been almajiris. And I dont believe that has changed |
Well like they say, The Lord is good. All the time!!!! Yeah, right I wonder how many collection plates went round before this guy was able to purchase his jet.I think I am in the wrong business ![]() |
Kai, I miss Onyinye2 (lol) |
Kobojunkie:I can categorically say that the former is more likely. If U are a 15 yr old kid and U got put in the family way, hawking would be the last thing on your mind. |
blackspade:Itz all good But methinks she is posting in the wrong thread. The thread did not say Britain vs Nigeria neither did it say Ugly Nigeria. The title is Ugly Britain. Maybe Angie should open a thread for her pics "Ugly Nigeria". But then it is nothing new ![]() |
RedHotChic:In as much as U told the Igbos to stop crying wolf, U ended up giving them reasons to keep screaming wolf!!!! The conclusion from ur 3 points : Wittingly or unwittingly, Igbos are hard hit in most of these disturbances. So what is the point of telling them to shut up ![]() |
ikeyman00:No wonder he is quick to label others fools, Its too bad that every year one or two religious disturbances claims the lives of inncent citizens and yet when U try to point out the causes , they are quick to label U fools. If U guys are any wiser and know the solution to this mess, then why dont u put an end to it. Is it a coincidence that 99.9 percent of all the religious riots in Nigeria emanates from the North? The 0.1 percent I leave to error. |
yemmyse: ![]() |
~Sauron~:ROFLMAO ![]() |
As long as the concept of almajiri is still perpetuated in the north, we would always have this riots. They are always used as cannon fodder by thier manipulative mallams. Those guys take to the streets faster than a fish take to water. |
iice:No. Why? Matter of fact , not heard from Zulu in ages |
michelin89:LOL U see my point ![]() |
michelin89:I assume that is in reference to the black men. A sista with a hairy black ass aint particulary a sweet sight ![]() |
littlekim:If U are supposed to be in school and U are out hawking, then there is a whole lot wrong with it. Also, U got to be careful when sending any kid to hawk. Some females have been put in the family way in the name of hawking. Trust lascivious market men!!! ![]() There are plenty of other ways to get ur kids lessons in industry and hardwork. |

but he is a kid,
Aint that just hypocrisy
What is far more educating than corpses and burning houses and property. It is not like this is the first time this is happening and I bet my black ass this wont be the last time. And next time again it happens, U guys would play the education card again.
