RomanceRe: Why Do You Think Over %70 Of Black Ladies In America Are Single? by Uche2nna(m): 7:07pm On Nov 28, 2008
LoveAlways:
Another reason why 70% of black women are single is because men are a bit intimidated by black women, even the "chickenheads" intimidate some black men because these young girls are often holding their own; as loud or as ghetto as they maybe.
LMAO

The preference not to deal with some ladies drama does not neccessarily suggest that U are intimidated. U just want better. Believe me, some black ladies come with more drama than Hurricane Katrina.

@ Karma

Cant believe U are asking if some of the white ladies scrambling for a black dude are not out to verify some stereotype shocked shocked

It's a fool that doesn't know that muslims/awusas always start every religious riot in nigeria. Only a fool will says such is a propaganda.
To the best of my knowledge, all the religious riots in Nigeria have been stirred up by the Moslem community in the North. Right from Maitasine to the saga of Reinhard Bonke in Kano state.

The question is would they view those ladies as "gals they would bring home to mama". undecided Just wondering if the Europeans that were hitting on black ladies in the clubs are just doing that to fulfil some fantasies

Why shouldn't Mugabe congratulate Obama, most world leaders did, Iranian president etc all congratulated Obama. Obama will restore some credibility to America's often war war doctrine.
For the same reason(s) Osama bin laden did not send congratulatory notes.

What is he congratulating Obama for? undecided

Maybe one U-17 player. Who knows?

Ask him what club he plays in and what tournament he has represented Nigeria in? We can figure out the rest.

Or maybe U can ask Steph. Okereke  grin Last I heard, she was married to some Nigerian footballer  grin

Uche, don't get me wrong . . . i'm not saying blacks shld not rejoice.
I only balk at a situation where we end up rejoicing more than the Americans.

Why have Kenyans declared a public holiday over the election of a nation thousands of miles away? How has Obama's election ensured Kibaki will not doctor the constitution again to perpetuate himself in power or rig elections or plunge the country into another civil war just so he can cling unto power?

while we celebrate US elections even louder than Americans, we have dictators everywhere denying us the very rights we celebrate.

In nigeria, an igbo man can't be president and yet we jubilate that America has elected a black man. Mugabe sends congratulatory messages to Obama and YET intimidates his own opponents, emasculates the media and impoverishes his people just to die in power.

Are these Kenyans "celebrating" not the same ones who needed the international community to mediate after their last elections?
Valid points, I must say.

Kenya would not change because one of their sons (grin) is now the president of the United States. Lets just hope the power hungry, money-sapping, corrupt-looking visionless leaders we have in Africa would borrow a leaf from the American example.

Oh, yeah. Indonesia it was , not Hawaii. Point is dat the response to Obama's election is a global one albeit on different levels.
Foreign AffairsRe: Obama Is An American Not A Black Phenomenon . . . by Uche2nna(m): 10:21pm On Nov 07, 2008
David, I don't know why U are having problem(s) with the Kenyans a la Africa going emotional over the Obama issue. Whatever happens to any black man on this planet (positive or negative) somehow always finds its way back to Africa.

When James Watson came out with his verdict on the black race (based on the perceived attitude of some blacks in the US and the UK) , he did not exclude blacks from Africa. Matter of fact, he used Africa as an example of how inferior the black race is. I did not hear U complain. But now U are gonna complain cos Kenya a la Africa is celebrating the election of a US president with African roots. Na wa oooooo!!!!

And the reporter that was saying there were no shout outs from Hawaii must be mischievous to say the least. I saw some clips showing Obama's former school in Hawaii and the environment was anything but normal. Sheer ecstasy amongst the students and staff.

Maybe U should also go after West Ham ( a third tier premiership club in England) that suddenly remembered that Obama saw a football match in their stadium while visiting his sister in England in '03. grin Fact is that , it is historic and people should celebrate as they deem fit.

Some posts I see on this thread would even make a member of the KKK blush.

Dudes, U guys should forget about the fact that Obama is black nd concemtrate more on the fact that he is better than the current opposition.

maedan:
Good analogy. It makes perfect sense: the average white supremacist is not going to take "President" Obama lying down, and will transfer aggression to the innocent Black Minority. When will they realise that a president belongs to everyone? I think Obama will be fairer to the whites than all the minorities, just to prove that he's not a "Black" president.
Obama is a black man who is contesting the president of the United States. The sooner U realize he is not a "black president" the better.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Uche2nna(m): 5:55pm On Oct 04, 2008
Arsenal are not particularly known for thier come-backs , ruggedness or determination. Its either things are going superbly well or things are going horribly wrong. Last time they won the league (phew that was a loooooooooonnnnng time ago) they had to go on an unbeaten run to do that. An arsenal team that will win the league wont struggle to pick up a draw at Sunderland or even lose at home to a premier league new comer.

Man U on the other hand, thats a different story. So debo comparing Man U and Arsenal in that respect is like comparing apples and oranges.
