seeu: @Onyi,
It's not easy to prove rape case. Do you think you can prove it that a single man overpowered you, held your legs open, covered your mouth from shouting, held your two hangs before he was unaable to rape you. It's really difficult to prove. The court will assume that the girl enjoy the act. I dont think thats true For some reason, I think it is more easier to convince the court that it was rape than to convince them that it was not |

Ruby_Pearl: I just understand women of nowadays. How can you be stupid enough to let a man get in if you didn't want it, then say no on the last min?
I'll slap that girl silly proo212: She called later and apologised but it already happened. I like my clean record, Thats a wise decision |

davidylan: some girls are so naive they don't know how to tell a guy to stop until the deed is about to be done then they start crying about being virgins. Onyi's case is different, if she's been dating the guy for quite a while now, saying no becomes useless . . . the guy will do what he wants to do regardless of how loudly she cries and she dare not cry rape. lol you certainly know a lot. Once a guy is inside, even an earthquake cannot stop him, climaxing or not.
hehe it sometimes happens. . . it doesnt make it right all the same. Actually, if Onyi filed a charge the court would be more sympathetic to her than to the guy. Some guys have actually gone to jail for that kind of shit. @ Onyi This is becoming very unbecoming Why do U always pick out insults from ma post? This is the fifth time in two days that U have implied that I insulted U |

Riskie: She is in no way a victim. She wasn't forced into getting pregnant I guess U are rite. However, if her plan had gone well she would be Mrs somebody before giving birth. Anyways, it is all a matter of choice. Majority of the naija women I know would always take a 2 parent family any day. Only a rare few would prefer to be single and until U know what circumstances that led to thier taking dat kind of decision U cant really pass a verdict on that. |
Crime › Re: Rape Isn't Always Criminal by Uche2nna(m): 9:16pm On Sep 01, 2008 |
davidylan: the "i can't control myself" line is what men use when they want to pressure a naive girl into letting them have what they want. No guy can deny never having used it successfully.
if you can control yourself when she is on her period then you have no excuse.
BtW, there are some things called condoms you know. She shed the naive toga when she went to bed with the man and allowed for some heavy petting. Of course when push comes to shove, You can always hold back. Thats not the issue here as far as I am concerned. The issue here is letting young onyi know not to allow herself get into such uncompromising positions and think that the guy would just automatically turn off because Princess Onyi snapped her fingers. Thats the stuff rape is made off. Yes, it is still rape but why invite it in the first place. |

HR.hotness: Hypocritical judgmental pricks can go F*CK urselves! lol No need to throw that in. From the posts here , noone is being judgemental. You smoking and drinking does not make You any better/worse than You already are. I don't smoke not because I find it immoral but because I just can't stand the smell of tobacco. So it is not a case of judgement but a case of likes and dislikes. |

squid: whats the big deal about drinking and smoking, just becaues you don't it doesn,t mean you should criticise.grow up haters.somethings we do today is bad for our health not just smoking and drinking.if any man dumps a nice giry because she drinks and smokes he has a long way to go .it really socks. I wont dump U if U smoke cos I wont be dating U in the first place if u did. It is not hating. Its called preference. Dont wanna have the after taste of tobacco in my mouth after a round of kissing. |
Romance › Re: Why Do Some Naija Women Think Being A Single Mom Is Ok? by Uche2nna(m): 8:12pm On Sep 01, 2008 |
Riskie: That's exactly my point. they shouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place.
By trapping the guy, I mean women try using children to trap a man into marriage and as a result of the man's reluctance, they end up being single parents. Well, then the woman is not content with it (as your posts suggest). It just means that she was a victim of circumstance. In this case a reluctant baby daddy |

Riskie: . I'm talking about those that are single mothers because they were with a random guy/boyfriend and had a baby by "mistake" Maybe I am no longer in touch with the naija culture (doubt it) but the last time I checked (and that was not very long ago ) under normal cirumstances most naija women would expect marriage immediately they find out U have put them in the family way. The resistance usually comes from the guy. Riskie: those who use children as a way to trap a guy. Now I think I am losing ur line of thots. Trap the guy into what Marriage or a single parent relationship?? |
