NothingDoMe: When you're challenged with facts you start talking about hate.
Agreed Tinubu didnt do too badly in Lagos. A couple of the things he did wrong was the introduction/empowerment of agberos in Lagos transport system system.
Tinubu built on Marwa's foundation. Fashola took over from Tinubu and so on. Tinubu cannot claim Lagos as his. Every governor past and present contributed to the growth of Lagos.
Marwa is still brilliant even today in NDLEA. His administrative skills is without class among his peers. at least you have admitted that Tinubu did well in Lagos.so expect him to perform as well, as the president. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu: Atiku Sells Everything, Obi Is Stingy by udomonday: 8:45am On Jan 08, 2023 |
NothingDoMe: No he didn't. Are you saying Lagos was not great before Tinubu? That's absurd. Were you there during the Jakande education revolution?
Buba Marwa did fantastically well with his use of DLA on Lagos roads. Tinubu took off from a platform created by Marwa. you are just allowing your hate for Tinubu to becloud you,as far am concerned Tinubu served as a catalyst for the present development of Lagos, all preceding governors played Thier parts and Tinubu took it a notch higher and handed over the baton to Fashola who built on the foundation and flourished. |

nonyofor2: Tinibu's campaign is all about mocking and insulting people, he can't say what he will do for Nigerians and how he will do it yet some people are clamouring for APC presidency. Chai! Who do us this thing. Tinubu has stated clearly what his blueprint is,and how he intends to catapult this country into progress. |

mycar: Have you ever wondered why other countries are progressing and we blacks are not, it is purely because of people like you, the wicked and hateful souls that will see black and call it white. you called it interactive session but no information on questions asked and answers given by him. He met with the youths, what question did they ask him and what answers did he give? no smoke without a fire, if he was fit, you won't be celebrating his ability to stand on his feet and dance. Your celebration shows that such act is not found in him always. If he was a kid we would have said that his legs can only get stronger as he learns how to stand on his feet and dance without a support but being an old man, it can only get weaker and worse. If you can't carry your self, how then can you carry the whole country? As for me, my house hold and friends, we will vote for the candidate that his legs are strong enough to carry the country and not the one that struggles to carry himself. what happens if the legs are strong and the head is empty?then prepare for a merry go round. |

Education › Re: Why Tinubu Licks The Microphone- Ihordspy by udomonday: 10:32am On Jan 07, 2023 |
SWATMan: Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution. According to the Greeks there are three types of people on earth, - the idiots, the tribesmen, and the citizens.
Studies have shown that only 10% of Africans are "citizens". The remaining 90% are either "tribesmen " or "idiots" . When the Greeks used the word "idiot", they did not use it as a curse word. Idiots are people who just don’t care. If they write exams, they will cheat. If they are in government they will steal. An "idiot" does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a trash bin. "IDIOTS" do not contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it. When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share. "IDIOTS" will sell their votes for peanuts. According to the Greeks, some societies have more "idiots" than "tribesmen" and "citizens". The next set of people are "tribesmen ", these are people that look at everything from a tribal point of view.
These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe. When the Greeks talk about "tribes", it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion as a "tribe". A great percentage of Africans are "tribesmen", because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen. You can now understand why Ihordspy has this cognitive dissonance.
The last group are "citizens". These are people that like to do things the right way. They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them. They drive within speed limits. They respect the laws, won’t cheat in exams. In government they won’t steal. They are compassionate and give to others to promote their wellbeing. "Citizens" often promote projects that benefit everyone. The Greeks called this group the "citizens". Some countries have more "citizens" than "tribesmen" and "idiots" while others have so many "idiots" . This was what led us to our present condition and may also lead us to the next disaster waiting to happen. People like Ihordspy or whatever his moniker is are the problem of this country. well in that case, Nigeria is cursed with idiots and tribesmen, with only a handful of citizens you can count with your finger. |

Simple! No need for the prevarication! you would do the same if you were in Tinubu's shoe.he is just doing what a wise man would do to a mosquito that perches on its testicles. |

bentenny: If as a leader of a party, you see a president you made not abiding to his campaign promises which you also made known to the public during the campaign rally, its your duty first as a Nigerian not to call on the attention of the President about his failed promises?
If there is one thing you will never take away from APC chieftain Bisi akande, its the fact that he will call you out even if both of you are in the same party unlike tinubu who would say nothing simply because he wants to be in the good books of his northern allies even if his own brother is dying! Buhari is a retired general, they are known to be very stubborn and oppiniunated, considering the fact that he is the president and commander in chief,he has the power over the party.tinubu is wise enough to know that disagreeing with him excessively will tantamount to putting himself in harm's way.so he just piped down and waited for his time, because he is so confident that he is the next president.the man is way smarter than you think. |

A promise made in 2015 being passed into law in 2022 and yet to be appended to by the same Buhari Tinubu openly claimed he made president? Urchins and miscreants always defending the indefensible. Tinubu and Buhari are too different people, yes Tinubu championed the campaign that brought in Buhari, the buck of implementation of all the promises stops at Buhari's table, there is nothing Tinubu can do about it. |

R.I.P to the departed souls.
Nigerian roads are death trap, our roads are not wide enough. Especially that oyo-ibadan express road, One need to see how trucks, bus and cars are struggling to pass that tiny dead road.
biko always travel by air. I can't remember when last I traveled by road. no matter how wide and smooth the roads are, some drivers will still drive carelessly and get themselves killed.some people just enjoy the thrill of speed and whenever they see a smooth road, formula one just comes to Thier mind. |
