A big problem with South Africa is simple

Thanks to Arphateid...many men had to travel long distances to look for work, leaving their families behind.

Another problem was that education under Arphateid was very very bad. For black people. And it was a deliberate policy...black people were to be reduced to the status of slaves to the white minority.

The result was a lost generation.

What does this have to do with South African men?? Well, many boys grew up without a strong male role model...all of them were working far from home. And the available ones...because of their depressed status...were of no use as role models.

And now these boys are men, and in some instances, fathers and grandfathers. Psychology of low expectations has damaged them beyond repair.

Nigeria?? We had a relatively better educaiton system compared to those for black SA.And better male role models..because there was no white minoruty government expoliting us.

I witnessed the so called reprisal protests by hundreds of ruffians. The regular policemen tried dissuading them with words, waving their guns in the air to no avail... It took just 2 SARS officers to disperse the hundreds of idiots...

I agree that SARS are an aberration, and need better orientation or outright disbanding... But, when you look at the proclivities and criminal tendency of the average Nigerian, especially our youths, you will understand the need for a very ruthless and rugged tactical police unit...
