Why does someone who has 'citizen' kids choose to remain an 'ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT' in the country when he can LEGALLY get his stay regularised? Why does he choose to continue to 'BREAK THE LAW' when he can file the relevant application to make his stay legal? That anyone has 200 'citizen' kids does not automatically turn their 'illegal status' into a legal one. There is due process to follow to change his status! It's about time they start 'fining' illegal immigrants for all the costs of 'finding and prosecuting' them! Things are not that straightforward in life o |

oyb: all this whining and apologizing for voting PMB is what makes black people disrespected all over the world
Pussieees.
once the going gets tough, we cave in like little biatches.
exactly what was expected? that PMB would wave a magic wand and our depleted foreign reserves and compromised income would right itself?
its sad that we never picked british toughness during colonization.
if brits reasoned like Nigerians, they would have caved in during the blitz. rather their resolve got stronger.
let me quote tupac
“I know it seems hard sometimes but remember one thing. Through every dark night, there's a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it get, stick your chest out, keep ya head up.... and handle it.”
dont fall to pieces when it gets tough.
my real issue with PMB is public orientation. he expects nigerians to have sense and know what is good for us. but most of us do not. we like, the isrealites, still yearn for the comforts of slavery. that orientation, for quick fixes, quick money, no thought of the future, mental indiscipline, thats what PMB needs to address. the reorientation of the nigerian mind
i fear though, that a generation may already be lost. just look at the things you see kids posting on NL If we are suffering because the admin is structyrakmt adjusting our country, we can at least have respite that tomorrow will be better. But this one is that we are suffering with no hope, suffering because of foolish policies, and suffering because many Nigerians because of bigotry will not say the truth. |

nnofaith: Nigerians need to get it in their head that they are in recession cos of financial crisis, crude oil prices more than halved, you have no savings and you have a huge pile of debt you are servicing, no economic genius can get you out of this crisis over night. what you are experiencing right now is a culmination of years of mismanagement, except you want to lie to yourselves (i know you guys enjoy doing that) you are not getting out of this any time soon except of course you want to dig us further in to the hole and postpone the evil day. what we need right now is to carefully navigate ourselves away from this crisis by being prudent with our lean resources and make investments in structures that we help diversify our economy. And you think this herdsman can navigate us out of this mess Very funny. |

agabusta: And the peeps opposed to Buhari are still yet to attain political maturity. They think it's by abuses and half truths. Despite all the abuses and half truths of pre 2015 elections, Buhari still won.
Exactly same mistake PDP made by focusing on abuses instead of showing better alternatives.
If it continues this way, Buhari may still win 2nd term with the help of the south west. The SW voters are less emotional and sentimental. People opposed to Buhari are just too emotional emphatically refusing to acknowledge the foundation of the economic problems we are having now.
Just watch how they will respond with abuses to this my post. These SW guys like over estimating their importance in Nigerian politics..... So in the last elections, you think Buhari would have won without winning Kwara, Kogi, Benue and Plateau; D With the way Fulani herdsmen have dealt a deadly blow to the middle belt, they would never vote a herdsmen for second term. And if course, the SE/SS would never vote a herdsman too, even if they have to vote another northerner over him. And that is 11 states against SW 6. The core north will be split because PDP will adopt a northern candidate too; At least that candidate will win his state, and the States around him. With all these happening, you think the SW has the way alone Anyways, all these ones are speculation, let God keep us alive till 2019. |

Or ia it Hilary Clinton that goes home to be cooking for her husband everyday, while on tour and campaigning to be elected president of united states.
Remi tinubu nko, after a long day at work, goes to Lagos from abuja to cook for her husband, abi?
Guy,pls upgrade your thinking. There's more to life than food. Even Bible says man shall not live by bread alone. The worth of a woman isn't in spending her whole life in the kitchen cooking your food. Not in this present time.
Like I said, there are options and she can learn, if she wants to. It shouldn't be the end of a marriage, marriage is more than food only. You have a point tho. But it's better if a lady knows how to cook. It's a live saving-Hunger banishing skill |

I'd rather live in Kigali,Rwanda or Port Louis Mauritius with their well developed infrastructure, cleaner neighbourhoods, constant power, more safety ,stable curencies and more orderly life than the chaos and big mess of Lagos. There are cool cities in Nigeria too o. Gba gbe nyen. |

I keep hearing about these mystical foreign investors . Where are those investors? Where are their power plants, steel plants, toy factories etc. The investors he is talking about are the speculators who come to Nigeria to inflate bubbles In the stock exchange who then sell at the height of the bubble, and leave the country with a bill. While the racket is going on, these so called elites have so much money to throw on Wrist-watches, champagnes, exotic cars etc. Buhari rightly trapped these folks money in Nigeria with the ban on forex or they would have depleted the forex reserves faster than you can say bob. Their fingers got burnt so do not expect them to come back any time soon. My grouse with Buhari is definitely not on the economy. Get used to Nigeria for what she is. Onegai: So, I did a quick Google search and I found a recently completed stadium, Akwa Ibom stadium. What has stopped you from taking her there to have a look. I'm not a sports person but I know that wherever a stadium is close by, athletes are training.
Getting the best jobs in Nigeria is a fantastic feat, particularly with the crumbling economy and nepotism. Even 1st class students are struggling. But like I've said before, if your sister went to compete, even if she didn't win but she mentioned it in an interview, what do you think will happen? Which candidate is more memorable, Miss "I competes in Long Jump at the Olympics but didn't win a medal" or Miss "I have a 2:1, just like the rest 50% other applicants and please remember it is from a Nigerian university, which everyone assumes produces half-baked graduates who can't speak English well or understand Logic and Reasoning?"
Which candidate stands out more?
Do you know the crazy thing? Even in the U.S. they have budget cuts everywhere affecting schools, arts and sports. Parents will go and raise funds to keep those things in a good shape for their children. I know this, before I had to help my aunt at a fundraiser in her small community to support some kids trying out for Nationals for some sport. In Nigeria, if I declare "my pastor needs a new private jet, my sister needs a N2million wedding and my church needs a 'befitting' N50million new auditorium", people will troop out to donate. If I say "my community needs a new clinic, my village needs more books in their school library, I want to buy equipment for my local Youth group to train them in Volleyball", how many people do you think I'll get to donate?
It's what Nigerians like and value they spend on. So, yeah, get used to Nigeria managing to win 3 medals at every Olympics.
That Chierika Ukogu girl competing in Rowing has become a mini-superstar. She's even featured on CNN. Remind me how many Medical students (because she's studying Medicine) from UniLag, UNN or any other uni is as popular as her right now. Chioma Ajunwa (who got promoted through the ranks of NPF), Blessing Okagbare, etc. See a pattern?
Good luck with your sister. There are fewer jobs nowadays. It's not longer about book knowledge, I hope you are now making friends with the right people so she can get a bank job instead of teaching like her peers. Honestly speaking..... I love your submission here. |
