DobleO7: God bless you. I heard Jimi Disu too this morning say that the credit should go to Jonathan. Someone then called to say it conceived by Obasanjo, continued by Yar' Adua before Jonathan now completed it. I don't just know why some people feel GEJ should not and does not deserve any form of commendation. Why I am making this point is because we have had hues and cries of how GEJ did not do anything 6 years and how PDP destroyed Nigeria in thier 16 year rule. It is so pathetic. I am not holding brief for anybody. Exactly. Propaganda issue in this country.... |

sheunsheun: I smh for our youth, is this really necessary?
Most project were left unattended to, by succeeding administration, you kept mute about that, but you can shout about this right?
Abi Gej used his papa money do am? You still don't get the point, do you? Those Liar people said that Jonathan did nothing and wasted our money with nothing to show for it. Though one can argue that he did not do enough, one cannot argue that he did NOTHING He tried his best, but that could not win him re election That is what Zombies need to knock into their heads |

charix: The boy is African, she's akata. Let's see them after six years. I'm not impressed. Akatas're always ready to take advantage of African men knowing we always want stability in life i.e. finish university, get a good job, get married and have children. I'm still yet to know if their males do the same to African females. Seems I'd never know because in everything concerning life females're always the most vocal. What is this one saying? |

jpphilips: Buhari insisted that devaluation will never solve the problem, CBN claimed that floating will attract investors back in the market, the result is a devalued currency, double digit inflation and no investor, the same fx we needed to peg the naira is what we need to intervene in the floating regimen, Buhari was right afterall. If the pegging has continued, the gap between official and black market would have been more than 300 naira The problem with the president is that he does not know what he is doing |

nextstep: Actually, if you remember, he was the one who resisted changing the official peg of 199. It was "learned" economists, bankers, students, taxi drivers, parents of students abroad, importers, etc. who were crying that he should allow the peg to float so that the disparity of official to parallel rates won't be so high. They also insisted that it would encourage the naira to gain.
Now that the naira has lost value after removing the peg, those armchair economists are absolving themselves of any blame. Even with the peg, wasmt the dollar already 350+? The man is clueless, simple and short |

specialguest: Nigeria has a few beautiful vacation spots like obudu and yankari. But the mentality of a typical Nigerian when it comes to vacation is somewhere outside the shores of Nigeria. I have been to obudu and it was a pleasant experiance but i fnd it more expensive than having a vacation in ghana or any other west African country. The expenses is the exact reason why people prefer outside the shores of Nigeria |

Empero1: Step aside. Since when did cfa's now gain weight more than naira, to the extend of exchanging 1k naira for 916 cfa. Parallel market or not. In fact, before close of office today, we exchanged 1k cfa for 650 naira. And this happen to be worst it has gotten.
At xe currency, it's 2 cfa to 1 naira... and this happen to be its worst slide against cfa, too. I hope you are right. |
