The Lagos police PRO, Badmos said that ‘although Wizkid’s allegation was criminal in nature, it was resolved through Alternative Dispute resolution (ADR). They agreed to resolve the matter out of court after Wizkid said he did not mean to threaten her life, rather it was an emotional outburst, with no motive to harm her’.

Ahhhh,so the little boy even apologised and his hungry fans are busy fighting Linda ikeji. That boy is lucky that he is in a lawless country like Nigeria,if not,he could have lost some endorsements.

And to those girls that think that Linda ikeji s pv$$y smells, yours smell too. 99% of pv$$ies smell. All these coming here to yab there fellow women coa of this are hypocrites.

The Govt cannot tell EVERYBODY the Truth because everybody cannot MANAGE the truth.

Currency management is as dangerous as Water management, it can cause WAR between countries.
Trust me, the Americans have put a call t our Ambassador and foreign Minister to WARN them not to even think about replacing the Dollar.
You think America will fold it hands and watch other countries replace the Dollar as a global currency of trade?

How do you think America will survive, when all it does to "create wealth" is to phone their Printer to print more "Dollar Papers" ...which it sells to other countries

Think about it for a minute. Read that "denial" again and you will see all the elements of "fear and pressure" in it.

There is a 'deft' way of achieving our aim, all the same.

Six Ways to kill a Cat. undecided undecided
Well, the USA cannot force countries to use their currency that's for sure, because Russia and China has a similar deal to bypass the dollar for trade between the two countries.
When the EU, Russia and the Asian tigers say enough is enough, there is nothing the USA can do, abi dem wan fight all of them?
the best they would do is lobby.
And then again, China, Saudi and Japan and a few other countries hold US debt instruments to the time of trillions of dollars.
Dumping them would ruin the United States.
The point of this story is.... The United States is not as strong or invincible as we think.

We don't really have to officially devalue tho.
What we need to do is to remove that peg we have put on the naira, and then let the naira's real value emerge.

I lived in a country WHERE the difference vetwwwn black market and official in quote rates was not more than 30 naira.

Doesn't something tell you that it is because if this peg that has driven the black market up?

Having observed the issue of SAP and the IMF coming up repeatedly here on nairaland, I will be doing a thread with the true history of events that diacusses the SAP so some Nigerians can let go off the paranoia assoiciated with the IMF or western governments. If course they look out for their best interests and yours too. Because every time you run into problems you still come to bother them with your issues like Aid moneys and hangouts, immigration issues etc.
Thank you.

IMF loans have helped countries like South Korea in recent past. Why do we vilify them all the time

* INEC, Corpers, Banks, all spheres of government, Airport authorities, Schools, Mosques, Churches, Employers, Workers, and many more

I pity the future of our coming generations in this country. No wonder GTbank was able to meet up quickly with their N25billion capital base restructuring of banks during Sanusi reign as CBN governor.

Yet no one ever die and go with money or properties. Sola Saraki defrauded Kwarans yet he died and never went with his stolen funds. Same also his son is following the foot steps of his late dad. God will punish them all who want to turn Nigeria to empty barrens. VANITY UPON VANITY
25billion was under soludo not Sanusi

one prob with efcc, Icpc, CCB n oda agencies like this, they don't dig deep n block holes before initiating trials. in some places, security n anti corruption agencies investigate suspects for years before running to court, they watch and dig when no one is looking, that way, its hard for people to cover there tracks, not so in Nigeria, they are always in a hurry. I am a kwaran, saraki allegedly stole mostly from us, but on this case, I am sitting on the fence, I have no ish with judiciary, but CCB, like efcc kinda dumb.

Saraki would find a loophole to rubbish the trial and they would be back to square one. They just want to look like they are working, that's all.

The point is since Nigerians cannot do without import. In fact no nation can. And the the fact that most of our imports is from China which makes most dollar export going to them, you should know that Nigeria needs to look at how to cub the high dollar exchange which makes looking at how to deal with forex between Nigeria and China a priority. Long live PMB.

To say China doesn't buy anything from Nigeria is laughable. If you are still learning, know that China import crude from Nigeria. At least that one you cannot dispute.

You that knw import and could not even understand that no nation can live in isolation. Even the USA imports from China and vice versa. America highest debt is to China. How did that happen. Find that out since you know economics very much.
Do you know that countries lobby to buy US debt instruments? I see there are many ignorant people here...

If the foreign investors have no faith in America's debt instruments, they wouldn't buy it.....

All d IMF loans we took in d past where did it get us? All d asian tiger countries REFUSED IMF loans in d past, ran closed economies (economies with focus on self and areas of comparative advantage), suffered the short/medium term consequences, and finally emerged as what they are today. They also shifted their focus of doing business SIGNIFICANTLY from d west in that time and though they faced serious sabotage and blackmail (like Buhari is facing now from that fish looking Christine Lagarde of d IMF and her co conspirators), they have come this far. Many Africans (plus countless Nigerians with all their education donot understand the principle of enlightened self interest) which prescribes the forgoing of present day gratification to achieve a greater, more positive and sustainable outcome. Lemme also chip in that from d world go, the struggle between the two dominant world political ideologies (socialist east and capitalist west) is still much with us till this day. Nigeria at this point (just like d asian tiger countries) is determined to find an economic framework that genuinely works for us and is peculiar to us. As much as we are suffering at this point (I am a six years post NYSC grad with a masters degree myself and still struggling intensively to survive) I am seeing the subtle steps of this govt to PERMANENTLY alter the status quo 4 dis country. As much as d STRUCTURE of d country is an impediment, something still needs to be done at least.
Why are you lying? is south Korea not an Asian Tiger?
For your information, during the Asian crisis of 96/97, they took an IMF loan and the SAME conditions given to Africa was given to them. And they met up.
Africans were and are still wasteful, that is the fact.

And those of you talking of Greece recieving preferential treatment, you guys are lying too because those loans came with dire conditions and bitter austerity.
That is why the Greeks went protesting in the streets, so stop misinforming the gullible here.

IMF conditions are same for ALL countries.
