What do you mean by normal ATM card? Their verve card works well in a lot of African countries while the Naira MasterCard works worldwide.

These are two good options considering your travel plans but you can confirm from their contact centre 0700 500 0000 sha.
The cards have been blocked since Dec. 31 2015

Lagos is the only one in the list were you have some primitive tribal chief claiming ownership whenever it's convenient. Can you imagine Jews claiming NYC as their exclusive inheritance? Threatening to to drown Oklahomans who might vote republican in the next election?
You can't be a World rated city while clinging to your primordial instincts of tribalism.
Exactly!

Why has tribalism consumed some people?
Politics › Re: 7 Igbos Who Could Be President Come 2019 by Ugosample(m): 10:14pm On Mar 16, 2016
MonPro:
An unneccesary distraction from a bigger goal. Who presidency don help? see hausa see almajiri, see yoruba see beggars.
Again who presidency don help? As big as yoruba with more than 50 million people only one yoruba man have ever been president in the last 50 years. That means the chance of a yoruba youth ever becoming president in the next 50 years is 1/50 million and it's even getting slimmer by the day as the East will never vote a yoruba since they've sworn never to vote an Easterner, while the north will always vote northerners as long as an hausa/fulani stands election, so where will yorubas get their votes?

Yet they are shouting "one nigeria" up and down like mad men. Dem go hear wehn! the north must rule for as long as nigeria exist. The East is no longer interested in the presidency of an unworkable zoo.
So you think splitting the country will solve our problems?

Celebrities › Re: ‘Call Heaven’: Paul Okoye Reports Brothers To Late Parents In Solo Song by Ugosample(m): 10:05pm On Mar 15, 2016
ilawanson44:
Lola is the cause of all this! Ever since she married Peter, she poisoned Peter's mind against his brothers! Their mother saw the devil in her and warned her son but she refused to listen. See the side where Paul said that the promise he made to his father was broken, it was because his father talked to him when he saw the high-handedness of Lola and made him (Paul) to promise that nothing would come in-between him and his brother. But Lola was hell bent on grabbing Peter to herself. Telling him how he was being cheated and how he can make it on his own if he goes solo. The constant fights Peter had with Jude and Paul and Paul's wife made their father's health break down. The man had High BP and those incidents aggravated it!

Lola! Your case dey heaven dey wait! Evil Woman
angry angry
Gibberish.

The fault comes from Jude, well at least most of it.
That's the truth.

He threw the first blow discrediting the wife of Peter in public, though that is not related to this topic.

If Jude was a mature elder brother, this mess will not be in his family.
What happened to compromise?

As an economist..... I dare say categorically, that the only way out of this mess is not devaluation per se, but the abolition of this two tiered currency regime we have currently, and let market forces determine the price of the dollar,.
The government should not officially devalue because that would be foolishness, but holding in to 199 .5 to the dollar is not sustainable in the long run.

And that idiot president of ours have to keep his mouth shut.
He saying in public that he will not devalue compromises the autonomy of the apex bank. If at all 5he doesn't want devaluation, he should communicate with the governor IN PRIVATE instead of talking rubbish on tv.

SirShymexx:
The same group with three out of the top four should have the highest number of millionaires. You know Igbos are noise makers when you look at the whole of Igboland which is the same size as Ibadan, and with the huge population of Igbos - yet Igboland is the least developed in the whole country.

In a proper organised setting - you don't need gazillion of roadside traders who barely make profits despite risking their lives to sell their wares. All you need is a few billionaires to create millions of jobs and also a conducive environment for organised SMEs to thrive. And that is one thing Yorubas have mastered - not the unorganised/primitive nuisance Igbos create everywhere in the name of trading.
Shymexx, I have known you for years, and you also know me too, though with a different moniker, and from your comments on this thread, I am very ashamed of you.
Displaying ignorance on a public forum.

Who told you the whole of south east is the size of Ibadan?
Have you been to the south east before to see the industries there?

You are just talking rubbish.

GeneralShepherd:
Forex is hardly ever steady! Even the dollar and the pound, this is a known fact.

However, the instability of the naira is unprecedented, over the past three decades Naira has maintained a steady downward trend at an average 12% per annum.

Given this reality, I believe it is time for us to swallow pill of not just devaluing the Naira but allowing market forces to determine it's price. This will eliminate the parallel market, currency speculation and rent seeking.

Lastly, I want to stress that anyone blaming PMB alone for the fate of the naira is being unfair. PMB is not the sharpest tool in the toolbox but the blame should be equally distributed to all past Nigerian leaders!

They are all dumb, clueless and irresponsible. All of them!
God bless you!

As someone who has stayed in ghana, i can tell you that place is shit, despite being just 23mill in population compared to nigeria

But trust typical Nigerians, they just can't wait to advertises how shiitty their ecomomy is.

Nobody should believe this writeup.......what has virginity got to do with cervical cancer?
All i see here is an evil person promoting vaccines that actually curses cervical cancer, why should anyone in their right minds take medication for something or an illness they dont have in anticipation of actually having it.......then he talks about WHO(world health organisation)and the major aim of WHO is world depopulation......in order words to reduce world population.
When u do a good research on vaccines you would actually find out that a lot of the people that got vaccinated actually ended up getting what the vaccines were ment to protect.
What are you talking about?

I hope you know that Nigeria cannot produce ALL it needs.
We can only cut down.
Let us produce what we have comparative advantage in. The ones we have no hope of having comparative advantage in, we have to import.
Importation of good items and petroleum products are the two things killing the country. Reducing operation of each by 60% will go a long way in saving the naira.

Lastly, profligacy must end.

I think your comment is quite inaccurate and hence unfair.

*NOI advised the government that some money should be kept aside as the oil prices may come down in the future. That is being proactive.
*NOI actually kept money aside following GEJ's approval. That is taking action.
*NOI was attacked by the governors-led by the APC governors and present APC chieftains who took her and the FG to court for withholding their money despite the warnings from the World Bank, IMF, CBN, NBS and NOI about impending oil prices doom.
*The Governors won the case in court and squandered what was released to them.
*NOI still kept the money accrued from then FG in the ECA.
*Buhari came and these same largely APC governors came and wailed that they did not have money to pay staff salaries.
*Buhari, who had claimed had met nothing on ground, did not probe these governors on their squandering habits and shared the money that NOI stored in the ECA.

Now Nigerians want to blame NOI. You see how silly many Nigerians are? Unless we leave out sentiments from national issues, we would be going around the same vicious circle, every time.
Thank you!!!!!
I have captured these points in my own post a little earlier.

Now I believe more than ever that people get the leaders they deserve.

All of you saying trash about Ngozi must be foolish!!!!!

Ngozi's calibre is miles ahead of Kemis own.

My only pain is that she should NOT have accepted the job because I have come to the conclusion that Nigeria does not deserve good things.
If not, how would you blame her for the depletion of the reserves when she advocated for saving funds in a SWF but bastard govs like Amaechi and Oshiomole (frog eye) championed sharing the money and even took the FG to court for it.
How would you blame her for the high expenses when the minimum wage was increased across board and NYSC also increased?

Was she minister of power? or works? Can only her do everything?

What of how she made it mandatory that all States and LG allowances be published so that the residents of the States see how much each state was getting?
What of the removal of ghost workers?
Debt forgiveness?

And idiots here are comparing her with an apprentice.?

What is with this new trend of pregnant women showing off their baby bump, and the worst part of it,is that they go almost unclad by showing it off.
With a beautiful flowing gown, your baby bump will still be seen,,this is Africa,a woman's body must be covered, and especially a married woman.
BUT

Not to support unclothedness but you know that TECHNICALLY speaking, unclothedness is the real African culture, going way back in history.
