Gurgle: Would you say your opinion is common across Nig?
Guys in their 30s often say they prefer women in their early 30s, because women in their 20s are annoying and underdeveloped. So what do you and our friends normally say
when you say youd prefer a 21 year old, do you really mean that? I mean can you keep up with a 21 year old girl He seems muslim, judging by his name. It is very common of them to marry small girls, even 14 years is not spared. |

In a primitive and suffer head society, the survival instinct and defense mechanism of the inhabitants of the country becomes turned up, and in many cases, extreme. That said, Nigeria, whether you like it or not is a suffer head country, and because of that, the survival instincts of the girls here are something else. It is expected. All the schemes, how to scam, how to squeeze out money, how to exploit, and generally, how to survive. It is unfortunate that it is innocent guys that end up the victim. Life is hard in Nigeria guys, and that is why take me out vs visit my house scam/saga will continue unabated. |

The punchline here is to teach your kids hard work, to value things and be grateful. That is the most important. I don't believe in depriving my child the perks of my sweat, they would fly first class conditionally, etc. Teaching them hardwork is the most important. The method differs. |

From the comments here, i conclude that many Nigerians are gullible people who believe they are smart. Nigeria has been recording trade surpluses almost every quarter since the return of democracy in 1999. What you should be looking for is the balance of payment. That is the main thing. Damn. |

For the person who said it's because of environment, I and economic situation that make some babes here money conscious, I don't agree with you completely and I'll tell you why.
Since the 1980s, Nigeria's economy has been in the gutter, and hardship is a normal thing in Nigeria, however, the materialistic trend is a recent one. Lack of contentment is the issue, not hardship. |

I don't envy the wife, the man looks like he would be rude, arrogant and a notorious coded cheat which I heard he is. His wife flaunts the way she does because she came from a wretched home and never in her life believed she will be carrying Chanel and designers one day.real women who have these things do not try too hard to flaunt it ... It is their signature look! His Angolan wife is from a wretched home? Wetin man no go read for Nairaland.? Yeye |

Trypant: Do you know me in- person? Nope! Many ladies I know are not pompous! Very down to earth more than me self! I am very intelligent, infact guys that come around me get intimidated as far as you are within my level that is degree holder! We are not dumb! Having a 2.1 in degree and 2PGDs in customer service and Ed. Is not a low IQ! Some ladies out there may even be more than me! You guys love the ones that spend their days and weeks plaiting and painting her nails in the name of classy than ladies who have simple makeup and normal life. The bad guys keep making the good ones decreasing everyday! This girl seems sensible. I can relate to everything you said. Some guys here like trash ahead of a good woman, and when trash does what trash know how to do best, those set of guys start crying. |
Politics › Re: Boko Haram: Top 8 Worst Decisions Of President Muhammadu Buhari by Ugosample(m): 2:28pm On Jul 21, 2015 |
Flets: Buhari's biggest mistake is staying silent on the economy and delaying appointment of cabinet members till Sept.
In a bad economic state, no fight against terrorism can be sustained and chances are that will be more sectoral crises.
Does Buhari want to do the following: 1. Devalue the naira? 2. Remove or retain petrol subsidy? 3. Deregulate or maintain status quo on oil and gas downstream sector? 4. Issue more licenses on power sector or government take over? 5. Sustain ban on textile and furniture or help promote the local industry 6. Any subsidy for farmers? 7. Etc
These are the reasons why 1. Dollar sells for 245 naira in the parallel market 2. The stock market has lost over 1 trillion naira in the past six weeks 3. The volume of capital flight from the economy is the highest in history 4. A kilo of chicken has risen fron 700 naira to 1200 in the market 5. Petrol scarcity still persists, and for locations where itis available... It sells for over 100 naira per litre 6. There is huge economic uncertainty
In addition, Boko haram has continued slaughtering Buhari has continued to mingle with a nation responsible for all the crises in the world today at the expense of nations who are ready to buy our crude Niger Delta continues to give ultimatum Fulani herdsmen has taken over north central SE has taken the biafran struggle a notch higher He has continued to make apointments along regional lines further widening the ethnic tensions across the land
And with the Iran crude hitting the market soon, and there are no policies or even technocrats to keep our economy ready...... The future of Nigeria looks very gloomy if nothing drastically happens before September.
The economy, finance sector, agricultural sector, and trade and commerce sectors cannot wait September. Aviation, transport, works, education etc can wait till Sept.
Enough of playing to the gallery, snapping pics and making a big deal of a US visit. Some aspects of our society need desperate attention. This is an intelligent analysis. |
Family › Re: Marriage? Nigerian Guys In Europe Are Shying Away From Nigerian Girls by Ugosample(m): 2:19pm On Jul 21, 2015 |
Tufanja: Love is not defined the same way everywhere. All I can say is that the concept of love in our country is quite different from the meaning of love elsewhere.
If our guys go abroad I can fairly understand that preference. A white girl will only marry a Nigerian man because of love. She wont need him for something else, nor would it benefit to her status. Contrary, she will rather have a hard job convincing her family and friends that her nigerian lover is not after a passport, money or benefits. When she loves against all odds, it's probably real love. Anything wrong for our guys having a preference for being loved as a person and not as source of prospects?
Love out there has more to do with the heart, and marriage wont add to the status as a woman like it does here. Love is more free there to be real love, here it is more a deal. And this is an intelligent post The Psychology of the two sets of women differ, but to be fair to Naija girls, it is not entirely their fault. Na condition make crayfish bend |
