cap28: Are the Fulani not Africans? How can you compare a European who left his own continent and went all the way to North America, committed genocide on the natives there, went to West Africa and shipped millions of your ancestors across the atlantic ocean, worked the ones who survived the traumatic and subhuman conditions on slave ships to death in terrible subhuman conditions on plantations to a group of Fulani who were fighting internecine wars on their own continent?
You negros will never cease to amaze me with your undying love and devotion to a race of people who hate you. So the atrocities the Fulani committed in Northern Nigeria, killing and all sorts are excusable because they are Africans too? Damn.... the level of your thinking...... |

cap28: Mr Davehull24, i couldn't give a rat's arse about some mountain in LA, you know why, because the entire land of North America was stolen from the native americans by the blood thirsty, savage descendants of cave dwellers, why should i care about land that has no cultural significance to me or my life. The Fulani also stole land in Nigeria too. Over the years, you've proven to be one who antagonise the white without apportioning due blame on black people It's human nature to exploit his fellow man, when he has the power to, that's the truth. The white did it in the past, and the Nigerian elite is doing same today. That is one truth you must know. Freedom is never given just like that. It is collected by force. So, what are black people doing to emancipate themselves? |

hahn: Our problem is that there is no proper blend of other races in our society and also the fact that whenever a "white" or "asian" comes to Nigeria, they come packaged. You hardly ever see an average European, American or Asian hustling on the streets of Lagos Island or attending a normal public school, know what I mean?
Also, whenever we eat "foreign" food its always expensive and in a fancy place. I guess those are some of the reasons why we tend to look down on our things. We don't see more of stuff from other races of ethnicities or race. Thank you. You are so right |

jossyj: I do not support violence but do Nigeria govt do things the right way? If yes there should not be any agitation from any quarters in the first place. Tell the truth do you like the way things are being done here? What is the solution then since we hate each other and have no common values That is what the greedy politicians make you believe. Many tribes have similar cultures, and if we can respect that, and have a common value of building a country that we would be proud of, no problem at all. |

Afam4eva: Some of you don't fail to dissapoint me. The issue here is not whether they are fighting for Biafra but how they're going about it. Some people see the name for an independence from Nigeria why other don't. What I won't support is for one idiot to be inciting people to violence. Well.... The violent and inciting comments are my major issues too. you too failed to read between the lines of my comment..... Read again to digest it. Am not in support of Biafra though, but if it happens, which I doubt, whatever. |

I'm Igbo, but I have to say, some of my people could be very stupid!!!! I
nstead of our people to demand for a greater role in Nigeria, they are demanding for Biafra.
OK, we have senators and house of representative members, how many of them sponsor a bill that would profit the life of those in their constituency?
We have state governors, what concrete project have they handled? And they receive allocation too The list goes on and on.
Though our forefathers were the stupid ones who sowed the seed of discord among us (Ahmad Bello and co.) We should not make the same mistake nor walk in their footsteps.
There is strength in unity, Harness it |

This thread has shown how the stupid actions of Awolowo, Ojukwu and Gowon has polarized the country. The history of abandoned property and £20 will remain fresh in the minds of Igbo people, and that is why they would prefer to build a mansion back in Igboland and squat outside. It's so sad. And to think ethnic hate is passed on to recent generations of Nigerians is even more worrying. That is why that fear is still there.

My country is filled with idiots!!!!!!! What makes you think that all those travelling out are travelling to escape trial and investigation? Or how does their presence or absence hinder investigation?
The records are there and investigation can be done, and when completed, and sufficient evidence gathered, then trial can proceed.
But because of emotions, my silly countrymen want these ministers arrested without gathering enough evidence, bungling the case at the end of the day.

K9blunt: i love my mom too much I can never describe the feeling, but those things you listed I probably(definitely) did were not my fault and will never be because I never asked to be born in the first place. am sick and tired of pple telling me 'do you think its easy to carry a baby for nine months ?' and 'your mother gave birth to you with pain and suffering, clothed you, fed you' and all that. biko how e come be my fault? Its your responsibility as a parent to care for your child because the child never asked to be born but you wanted a child. how will you acquire a car and not be responsible for its mentainance. pls o an not saying you should hate or do anyhow to your maley but if you are going about with the mindset that you're giving a previlage to something that is suppose to be your responsibility then its so sad. I love this post. Especially because it's coming from a woman. |
Family › Re: If This Was Your Husband What Would You Do? by Ugosample(m): 1:49am On Mar 15, 2015 |
Originalsly: The wife is helping to wreck her own marriage, home and the lives of the kids. This has nothing to do about him getting his papers. For whatever reasons ... he did not like his mother in law from jump. The wife knew that. She had to know that he was not going to the family dinner ... so it was like by force...if you don't show up I'll teach you a lesson and she did what she did....as you said..because "he disrespected her family". She has disrespected her husband and marriage...and to add salt to the wound...moved herself and 'her kids' to the root of the problem. She didn't move because he beat her...and injured the child...oh nooo...that was not reason enough....but not to show up for the family dinner?... all hell must break loose. They live abroad.....calling the police for a one time incident was not necessary ... he now has a police record that can affect his climbing the ladder or having more opportunities opened to him to better his life and that of his family if they get over this hurdle. I'm surprised he was not arrested and charged....maybe he was. On papers...if that's all he wanted then the wife has given him a golden opportunity for him to file for divorce on the grounds of abandonment....she has abandoned him by moving out. The wife is now suffering...no sex...no help to take care of the kids...and her mother is also feeling the pressure of child care and extras in her home...her regular routine is now all messed up....and most likely is trying to send her daughter back to where she belongs. What can she do?...I guess try getting on her knees and start apologising to the husband. If he does accept her back she should know things not going to be the same......she has to do extra over time to bring the relationship back to the low level it was just before all this dinner drama. The End . This is the only sensible post I've read so far. |

Education › Re: BORED??? A Little Brain Teaser (PICTURE) by Ugosample(m): 5:19pm On Mar 11, 2015 |
The answer is 27. This is how I arrived at the above answer. First I form three equations x+y=10............(1) x+z=20............ (2) y+z=24..............(3) from (1). y=10-x.......(4) from (3). z=24-y........(5) substitute equation 4 into equation 5 z=24-(10-x) z=14+x..............(6) From equation (2) z=20-x............(7) Since z=14+x in (6) and z=20-x in (7) they are both the same. thus equating equations 6 and 7 20-x=14+x 2x=20-14 x=3. substitute x=3 in equation (1) y=10-3 y=7 and substitute x=3 in equation (2) z=20-3 z=17. so, x=3, y=7. and. z=17 Proof: Substitute y=7 and z=17. in equation (2) 7+17=24....... So, the total weight of the three of them equals 3+7+17=27. With this simple analogy, I hope I've been able to convince and not confuse you that the total weight of the three animals equals 27kg. BTW...... x=Rabbit y=Dog and z=Cat Thank you. |
