@ROSSIKE, No insults please. Let's be mature here... Back to topic... I watched CCTV yesterday, and i was impressed with their delivery. They are presenting the prospects of China to the rest of the world. Why don't we do the same. Raise our media to a standard and protray our prospects to the rest of the world. If you don't dn it, nobody will do it for you. Simple.

neohitler: Funny Africans.Name any black or African nation that's developed?. Typical blacks always blaming the white man for their backwardness.
my broda i tire o! The black race needs to help himself. Take this example... In the academia, most of the discoveries and research is done by foreigners. Have you ever heard Chukwuma's theory of... Or Bolaji's law of... What you hear is Newton, Michael, Jhinghan, e.t.c. And we have at least 1000 professors in this country. What they are looking at is money. Or will the white enemy in quote kill you if you're doing your research in a garage or lab in a far flung part of the country? As my twitter bio states... There is no excuse for failure. Bless you bro.

I have on CNN, but i haven't on BBC. Besides, must they paint our story for us? Can't we paint our story to the world too? America has CNN, Britain has BBC, The arab world has Al jazeera based in Qatar, the Chinese have CCTV, which one does the whole of Africa have? Is it that joke called NTA? Before you accuse them, think about this.

Okay that's enough! One thing i love the whites for is that they make home wherever they find success... Like a swiss woman i know in surulere forming omo eko. Why can't we be that way as well? Nigerians in Nigeria, make a success of Nigeria, and call it home. Nothing concerns you with those outside. It is as simple as that.

I think we should be more tolerant of other people's food. Those days when my cousins from the USA came arround, they always complained that our food is this and that. One even said that garri is for animals i had to correct them. Food is food (apart from junk) my 2 kobo.

That's good bro. Peace of mind is priceless. If you had taken that money, trust me, each time you hear a knock at the door, your heart will tremble. Anyway, let me share a brief experience. In my first year, an uncle of mine sent me #4000 as dash money. The cashier accidentally typed 40000 instead of 4000. I told my uncle, i went to the bank accessbank, they traced the teller number amd reversed the transaction. My room mates were furious with me, calling me names. One even called the event God's blessing i threw away. How did we get into this mess in this country? Everyone looking for free money. This must change.
Career › Re: Are Indian Bosses In Nigeria That Bad??? by Ugosample(m): 7:20am On Nov 07, 2013
InvertedHammer: You guys should be glad that the Indians are hiring you. What if they don't?

Your government does not give sh.it about you. Here comes Indians who are willing to offer you jobs and you are complaining.
Why don't you start your own company and see how easy it is to manage Nigerians? The concept of time is not in Nigeria
dictionary. There is total lack of professionalism. Simple thing they could use their brain to do, they delegate it to God.
God forbid a Nigerian had to work hard to earn a living.

You don't like it? Drive to Abuja and holler at your "polithievians" Aren't you ashamed that you go to every country,
they lord over Nigerians. They come to your own country, they lord over you too. I think citizens of Nigeria are the
lowest of the lowest going by the standard citizens of other countries ridicule them.

Apparently, Nigerians are born to be slaves. And they still see slavery as an achievement. Be informed that an Indian
has more right in Nigeria than you.
you have some valid points, although i don't agree that we're slaves anyway. We're just lazy. Ask people arround the last time they read an educational book, when last he/she watched discovey or nat geo. In my axis, many adults and young people don't care. But they prefer wasting too much time on things of litte epistemic value. That has to change.
Career › Re: Are Indian Bosses In Nigeria That Bad??? by Ugosample(m): 7:14am On Nov 07, 2013
There are many ignorant people on this thread. For those who haven't been to India, know today that they are workaholics. Even the children are not left out. I know a garment shop in which these children work 75 hours every week and are paid $20 for the same period. And this is serious work,no arbitrary breaks. Anyone saying that a sizeable % of Nigerians, especially the youth ain't lazy, that person is delusional.

Ugosample: This thing is two sided. Many women treat them like shit in the house, maltreat them, etc. On the other hand, some househelps become ingrates when they're treated well, they challenge their caretakers and cause other problems. This thing tire me. I guess it's the peculiar nature of Nigerians... Always wanting to oppress. I will relate my aunty's experience later on this thread.
My aunt got a help to stay with her. This girl is from the village and she took her in as her own, gave her good clothes and sent her to the same school with her youngest daughter. But as time went on, she became unruly, stealing things and engaging my aunt in a shouting match. She also left the house a couple of times to God knows where and she later came home with an STD (don't ask me which one) she was still treated and forgiven, but that did not stop her unruly behaviour. Her friends and sisters make jest of her, saying that this is what you get when you treat them with love, etc. I'm not saying they should be treated badly, but many of them are INGRATES.
v
the reason I will choose barbells over regular pushups is the ability of changing weights, whereas in pushups you are stuck with your bodyweight. if further expansion aint forthcoming change or spice up your routine a bit, it could be your body is getting accustomed to your current work out and lastly there are many steroid free supplements (either check with your local pharmacy or purchase online)
Thank you very much. I also have a little issue with my physique. I've got broad chests, but my belly is kinda big(not too big anyway) i've tried sit ups but i felt some pain in my underbelly and close to my groin. Is this pain normal? What other exercise can i do to reduce my belly fat? Or dietary changes? Thanks.
Music/Radio › Re: What Does Your Taste In Music Say About Your Intelligence? by Ugosample(m): 9:05am On Oct 24, 2013
The music you listen to determines your personality. If you like fast tempo songs/hip hop, it means you are a lively person/young at heart, etc. But if you like slow tempo/drab songs, that means that you are not lively/party loving. That is my opinion.
Health › Re: A Thread For Body Builders by Ugosample(m): 8:54am On Oct 24, 2013
This thread is very informative. But i'm not close to any gym at the moment, so my question: Is push ups as effective as bar bells? And secondly, i've got to a point where further expansion is not forthcoming (so i think) which protein supplement is steroids free? And is it advisable to use them?
