As insensitive as it may sound, Lagos needs to send consultants to other states in the federation to help them solve their problems. If Lagos keeps solving their problems and other states do nothing, there will be more influx into Lagos which will defeat the purpose.


This in my opinion is applicable to Europe and US. If you prosper more than your neighbors(over though it is no fault of yours to prosper) the citizens of other countries will rush to your own city, the real solution is to help them solve their problems otherwise they will have no peace and your own sleep will be disturbed.
