Education › Re: I Regret Bitterly Going To University. by umuna(m): 9:51pm On Jun 03, 2017 |
nwaimostate5: I opened this new moniker just to lay my frustrations as typical Nigeria youth who is tired of the whole system.
when I was in secondary school I was among the best in my class,is either I came first, second or third I never had any position below them. my parents were so happy and proud of me and vow to train me up to University education even if it will cost them starving just make sure I attend University because they were poor. After hearing this from them I became so happy and elevated (remember those feelings then that u will go to University, those feelings no be here) at that time I don't think about anything else except University, jamb, post utme , life in campus and any other thing relating to University. I wrote my first jamb in 2009, scored above 260, then score relatevely high post utme but I was denied admission in one of the federal University in Nigeria not because I didn't meet the cut off mark but because I don't have money to runs the admission,I lost the admission that year and became so frustrated and dejected. let Make it short, i have been writing jamb from 2009 till lastly in 2013 when I got admission to study marketing in one the state University in South East. I,m in my final year now studying marketing just few months for me to graduate. You may be wondering while i,m writing this, now let me tell you. I,m writing this first because ...... 1 I,m frustrated right now because after graduation I will start roaming the streets looking for job. 2 Had it been I use those time I spent in writing jamb and do business by now I would have been s millionaire by now. 3 Had it been my parents advice me to learn trade by now I would have been my own oga controlling millions. 4 I have to start afresh and enter the streets for hustling because there is no jobs out there, so why the certificate when I can read and write with secondary education. Then, why did I spent all the years looking for certificate that I may not use tomorrow because streets pays more than salary. I remember how I hustle during holidays to meet up the needs in school thinking after graduation good jobs are there waiting for me. Should I said I wasted my time acquiring University education or what, somebody should answer me. I think I regret Ever going to University. No my friend you did not. The education you have acquired have opened your reasoning to new horizon. You can put this your new learning/thinking into use while on the streets hustling. You can do it, don't be afraid. when you start small, you appreciate what you have, when it is big. Good luck! |

Christianity Etc › Re: Does Christianity Allow Sex Styles For Married Ones? by umuna(m): 5:10pm On Apr 30, 2017 |
oyonu: What u guys practice is religion and Christianity is not a religion. Religion put people in bondage while Christianity makes people free. He whom the son of man has made free is free Indeed John 8:36. Any religion or pastor that dictate how you will have sex with your own wife has put you in bondage. In as long as you are married and you are not committing adultery I don't believe God is angry on how you sex your wife. As a matter of fact, the Bible encourages pre-intimacy song of Solomon 2:6 even Paul admonished married people never to deprive each other sex 1cor7:5. Come to think of it, who taught Adam and Eve how to sex? They must have seen the animals doing it from the back and must have engage in the style. But you should know that people have sex in the style they are comfortable with hence the missionary style is popular while animals do it from the back because it is more comfortable for them. I say it again you will not go to hell for doing doggy style except u are fonicating may God bless you really good! what i like most about your writ up is the quote about being free. |

olujastro: Quick access to social media has made Nigerians especially the youths very impatient and insulting. They should learn to obey the 1st Law of Thermodynamics....No system is 100% efficient as there must be losses. These services run on technology and technology has never been 100% reliable all the time, technical hitches are bound to happen occasionally. GTB has always been at the forefront of bringing innovative technologies to the banking system in Nigeria while other banks follow afterwards. I use GTB too among other banks and I can boldly say GTB has been reliable to me about 98% of the time. Cut them some slack. you said what was on my mind. They are the best bank in 9ja for now. |

Food › Do You Know This Spice Called Xylopia Aethiopica? by umuna(op): 10:25am On Mar 07, 2017 |
The spice/herb Xylopia Aethiopica is aromatic, bitter in taste with a ting of pepper. In Nigeria and Africa, it is used as a spice in some area, and as herbs in others, which are all under exploited! It is known by the Igbo's as (Uda), Yoruba's (Eruu), Hausa's (Kimba) and the Urhrobo's as (Urhirien). With my experience, observation and interest, it is only used in our societies and homes only for pepper soup making or in herbal drinks/mixtures being hawked (Iya la Agbos!).In Niger delta areas and the Igbo's, it is used actively when a pregnant woman puts to bed and the spice is used to bring out the bad blood in the womb, and after that, it's usage in the home ends. From our experience in using this herb/spice, we noticed that, it could help in many ways like:
1. Are you having cough and asthmatic? 2. If you are catching cold, it could warm you up 3. Having stomach upset? diarrhoea or menstrual pains? 4. Could treat rheumatism 5. At times, I use to treat water before drinking(Not large water ooo) 6. Are you having Jede-jede and waist pain? it could help out. 7. Aah it could help you and madam in the other room! Lol 8. Do you work during the night period and needs to stay awake and focus? It could help out
This wonderful spice/herb is not only meant for pepper soup cooking, but can be used in different ways for the sustenance of mankind

badassProdigy: This Nigerian lady based in the United States of America is simply recognized as Ms Damn. She is very influential on Instagram where she boasts of over a million followers, even bigger than some of our celebrities down here. (Don Jazzy follows her too)
She specializes in twerking and known for doing the '#walktwerkclapaway' as seen on her Instagram bio. She is very proud of her Nigeria heritage and she refers to herself as the 'Naija Princess' which she includes on over 70% of the contents on her page.
She is also known to be very friendly with Nigerian guys on social media. She has a page on Connect Pal where each member pays about $12 dollars per month just to watch her dance seductively and display her bosom and bum.
According to reports, her page has thousands of subscribers making her a very rich young girl who merely sits back at home to smile to the bank without a regular job.
The curvy young lady who has a passion for stripping is also into event promotions as she is invited to nightclubs and other social gatherings to serve as a centre of attraction with handsome rewards. Much personal details about her real names, education and family background remain fuzzy.
