Ah ah!I wonder ooooo, Armed robbers they wear police uniform, even military kaki self, agbero de wear am. them call am camouflage That NYSC is just creating an atmosphere of fun here na big deal? |

JideTheBlogger: nice one. In as much as they are not collecting allowee, no wahalaWhy shouldn't they collect allawe, under the sun and in the rain together, is that not injustice? Meanwhile, someone never report at work for 13 years but still was collecting salary and to worsen it, she earned unmerited promotion to the highest rank attainable in civil service. As if that was not enough, "we" are clamoring for retirement benefits for spouses of political office holders and you are saying these young people who suffer mosquito bites, and other pitiable suffering should not be paid allawe. Abeg watch ur mouth ooo, u no say God listen to small piking well well lol |
I made a submission to NYSC(at the state level) when I served that, kids who are brought to service by their parents should be given NYSC discharge certificates too so they dont repeat service when they grow up. Am sure this is phase one of the implementation. |
Okija_juju: Fhuck Bakare..By their word you shall no them. F**l |
jp philips: @ london they are nobody, in Naija, they have mopol escorts, where u wan start the fight? mopol or law maker. You have a point, I have said this before and i will continue to say it. Nigeria can never move forward until we are liberated from the power drunk leaders and and leaders become accounted and answerable to the masses. And we can never be liberated until these 3 set of men come to their right senses; 1. The judiciary, they must shun corruption and dispense justice without fear or favor. 2. The Nigeria Police Force, Military and all uniform me. Until they see themselves as part of the masses and and they stop using their weapon to oppress and suppress us whenever we protest against bad leadership or unpopular policy. 3. Area boys. They need to come to their right senses that they deserve more than the peanuts that political bigwigs are giving then. With the three above in place, politicians will become helpless and harmless and then you and i can easily call them to order. |
saviola24: Mission accomplishedThat is it. So saw my mind. |
And all she is interested in is retirement benefit, her parents, relations, hubby and children should be asshamed of her. If she be ma mama, I go disown her |
manosteel: I recently got married to this lady, she works in construction company while I worked in Govt. Ministry. I have seen my wife's pay slip, she earns slightly higher than I, but she believes that I'm earning higher than her,and she respects me as well as my job for that. I'm thinking of opening up to her and to let her know my true salary, should she find out in the future and treat me as a lier, but at the same time, I'm afraid that I might loose the respect she has for me as the head of the family.@ Manosteel Please pardon me, but am gonna look at your issue from another perspective. From your story, its obvious you leave above your income level, perhaps you have contributed in one way or the other to the rot in our Nation today or how do you explain your assertion that your wife feels that you earn more than she does? where is the extra money coming from. |
This is madness of the highest order. Ajumobi should come and learn some decency from him broda (BRF) for Lag now. Them no fil go poise or other training institutions here in Nigeria abi? God punish all of them |
Can someone give us the contact information to reach Sam Amadi? I mean his telephone number, twitter ID, Facebook ID and lets bombard him with question. The same man who told us that prepaid meters are free, yet the devils in PHCN still collect between 35k and 80k for prepaid meters. Anyway, whatever he said is irrelevant as far as am concerned, i have personally taken a step when i got my June bill which totals 7.1 k. Please see below a copy of my letter to them, it pays me to be off their line so if they cant settle for how much i can pay let them come and remove their wire, its not by force. July 16, 2012 The Area Manager Power Holding Company of Nigeria Plc. ........ Business District Lagos. Dear Sir, Re: Exorbitant Monthly electricity bill I am the occupant of the above flat. With greatest displeasure, I want to bring to your attention the suffering and pain that I have gone through as a result of outrageous and exorbitant monthly billing on my flat by PHCN. I have been enduring the exploitation and extortion by PHCN since 2011, but it has come to a height I cannot condone or bear any more, hence the reason for this complaint and appeal. For example, a cursory review of some of my previous bills shows as follows; Month Amount (Naira) Month Amount(Naira) March 2011 3,066 October t 2011 3,177 May 2011 3,066 Nov ember 2011 4,187 August 2011 3,108 January 2012 5,299 Sept 2011 4,153 It would interest you to know that some flats with family sizes more than twice of mine were not even billed as much as half of my bills during the periods highlighted above. It’s is more infuriating and disheartening that power supply has always being erratic and epileptic, so one cannot but wonder what then is the basis of these outrageous bills, when electricity is seldom available for use? Apart from the general power outage, the section where my house derives power is always beset with problems, resulting in us not having light even when there is light in the neighboring streets. This has persisted for over one year with PHCN not being able to find a permanent fix/solution, I cannot counts how many times there would be light on ........... but our area would not have light. I received the greatest shock when June bill was delivered to me and I saw a total sum of N 7,061. Sir, I want to say unequivocally that I did not consume anything near this amount and I cannot for any reason pay it. I cannot be borrowing money to pay for electricity that I did not consume. It is easier to count how many times we had light than how many times we were left without it, so I want to know how PHCN came about 500 kwt they billed me for in June. Please sir, I can only afford to pay N2, 500 for June and subsequent months. This is what my income can accommodate. I therefore appeal to you to use your good office for a reversal of the excess billing in June (i.e. N7, 006 – N2, 500) and also ensure that subsequent month(s) (pending the installation of prepaid meters in my flat) do not exceed this amount. Currently, we are processing the prepaid meter installation to help in managing and regulating my electricity consumption. To this end, I have liquidated all outstanding on my bill as at May which accrued as a result of excessive billing over a period of time. During the intervening period(i.e. pending the installation of prepaid meter) , I cannot afford more than N2, 500 monthly as earlier stated. If this will not be possible with your current billing system, I volunteer to opt out of enjoying PHCN service (pending when I finally get the prepaid meter to guarantee the accuracy of my billing) so as to avoid any face-off or squabble with your official and also save me from the embarrassment and harassment for non- payment of bill. I am a law abiding person, I know now my duties and I perform them, I pay my bills for services I enjoy and I don’t like to owe anybody whether institution or individual. Sir, my house is not a business center; neither do I have any equipment that consumes power in my house. I would kindly appeal to you in the interest of justice and equity to please put me in your shoes and help me to resolve this issue. I have to cry out at this moment because I cannot bear it any longer ,I have borne it for a year but it has been a heavy burden. I will appreciate your kind and prompt action on the issues highlighted above. Yours faithfully, Cc: I. Ikeja Regional Manager, PHCN II. ...................Landlord III. ....................Caretaker IV. Barrister .............. (Personal Lawyer) |
"Former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel on Thursday was granted leave to attend to his health issues abroad. The State High Court hearing the case in Abeokuta ordered the release of his international passport which had been in custody of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The order by the presiding Judge, Olanrewaju Mabekoje, was subsequent to a motion filed by the lead counsel to the accused, Taiwo Osipitan, informing the court that Mr. Daniel needs to urgently attend to his health in London. “We prayed Your Lordship to ask EFCC to release the accused passport to travel for urgent medical attention in London which is his fundamental rights. We attached x-ray and medical report to the application,” Mr. Osipitan pleaded. “There is need for defendant to go and take care of his health. We need a healthy defendant, we shall return the passport. He would not spend more than two weeks,” Mr. Osipitan held. In response, Rotimi Jacobs, the EFCC’s lead counsel said the accused should not be allowed to go abroad for medical treatment. But the judge ordered the anti-graft agency to release the international passport to enable the accused seek medical attention outside the country. Mr. Mabekoje, however, ordered the accused to return to the country not later than 30th September, 2012 and within three days, return the passport to the EFCC. Daniel owns an account allegedly used to siphon state funds. At the hearing, a witness of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who also works with the Finbank – Omolara Akiodem – confirmed to the court that the accused is the sole signatory of an account belonging to Masterline Investment and Property Limited. The EFCC had alleged that the company was one of Mr. Daniel’s sources of siphoning State Government’s money while in office as the governor. The witness during cross examination told the court that since inception of opening the account in 2000, Mr. Daniel till date remains the only signatory to the account She said Mr. Daniel between 2003 and 2009 had been signing the cheques assigned to the account, adding that on 9th September, 2005, a GTB cheque number 3037 in the sum of N10million was deposited into the account. Similarly, on 10th February 2006, cheque number 3962 bearing the sum of N10million was paid into the account by one Adenike Ogundipe, who also on 25th April 2005 deposited N9million with cheque number 5013. The judge adjourned hearings of the case to 15, 25 and 26 of October, 2012. Gbenga Daniel has been facing criminal charges filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an Ogun State High Court. http://www.channelstv.com/home/2012/07/12/court-grants-gbenga-daniel-leave-to-travel-for-medical-attention/ This man claimed he was being persecuted like Jesus, now he pleaded with court to travel for medical. Why can't he wait and die and lest see if he would resurrect on the 3rd day, then we can liken his persecution to that of Jesus Christ |
28octo :Me and u no be enemy, we suppose to be family......... Go back and read my post, perhaps you will tender an apology, otherwise............. |
sir-p2007:Wao, that's very fascinating!! i never thought of that............ Smart guy!! |
youngies: According to Osinlu, the first lady is apparently delighted at the appointment, saying that she had no cause to publicly accept or decline the appointment. And like her husband , she doesn't give a damn. We will be so disappointed if she declines, because we know them, they can never do anything right!!! |
dedeike: If you don't know what to say, please lick Tom Tom. Much as I hve reservations over the controversial appointment, we must not loose sight of the fact that the person in question is just a first lady-the wife of the president. She is not a govt functionary. She is not recognized by our laws. The position of first lady is unknown to the constitution. She is not being paid from FG purse.@ Dedeike & co. You people are forcing me to become violent nowadays and i cant help it. You are a big disappointment to this nation and my generation, in fact, a very huge and momentous embarrassment. Please hear yourself, she can work from anywhere. A woman has be frolicking and travelling round the whole world for the last twelve years and therabouts( as first lady/deputy first lady). yet she remained on a state govt payroll, and here u are saying rubbish. Thank God you even know that the constitution of Nigeria doesn't recognize any office called first lady, yet your dummy oga's wife has been parading herself in an illegal office, you fools cant put her to order. I pity you and all people that reason like you. That's why we are in this mess and we would continue to be until God empowers us to eliminate fools and wicked idiots like who reason like you. yes we are not Bayelsan, but if you care to know why we are concerned, we have heard of ghost workers everywhere in federal service, we cant be sure that this woman and her entire family (up to her 5th generation counting from back) are not the constituents of the ghost workers. |
Johndoe100: What amazes me on this thread is that not one person has raised the point that this is a PURELY INTERNAL MATTER of Bayelsa state. If the elected representatives of the people are happy with it, how can some vampires from the southwest be crying over what they want to do with their money. All of a sudden people who despise, yes even hate Bayelsa and all its people are now so so sad about the supposed wrong done to the state.Has any govt official in Bayelsa refute the claim? Elected representatives of the people happy with it, arent u dumb? Go sit down jare |
transformation agenda I am confident that at the end of this well thought out programme, you will be in a vantage position to see Nigeria from the prism of the building blocks that unite us more as a nation than divide us. My aim is not only to broaden your knowledge of the policy thrust of this Administration but to provoke deeper thoughts on the prospects and possibilities of Nigeria achieving its cherished vision to become a more focused united and prosperous nation. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan[/quote Hi be like say someone don kolo here |
Ijogz K: So the noise maker just dey turn SAN sinceeeeeDumb!!! The man has been the president of West Africa Bar Association, who is this your friend? |
We are being trampled down on a daily basis by oppressors in the corridor of power, nobody to defend us. No lawyer has ever sued our govt for all we are going through. Only to sue Oyedepo for slapping a girl in the name of human right. Nonsense and idiocy of the highest. the man na thief, just want to sow where he did not reap. If he thinks it easy to collect tithe money let him go and start a church now and see if its just a fun having a congregation in hundreds of thousands. |
Eziachi: How do you make out that this guy is a fool?As logical as your argument might look, it doesn't absolve this evil minded almajiri. There ia an adage in my place that if you are sent a message as a slave, you deliver it like a free born. Did you hear the man very well? Peple were killed during d civil war, that was a sacrifice for the nation, so our graduates should offer themsleves as sacrifices in the name of nysc. Absurd!!! May his entire lineage be used as sacrifice so there won't be bh in Nigeria again. How I wish we can use this medium to seek his removal |
Please can someone help me out how to create an opinion pool? I consider this man to the the most foolish and wicked fellow of our generation, i want to know how many people share my sentiment so we can recommend jona to bestow an award on him for his idiocy and get a better person for his office. Minister of youth affairs indeed!! Am sure his own family is abroad living large at our expense, and after graduation, if they come to Nigeria to serve they will be in Abuja or Lagos. |
I hear Jona telling the whole world during the presidential chat that he set up Ribadu task force to probe the oil sector, is subsidy not included in the terms of reference or I misquote jona? |
1 day.............................................................. ................................................................ ................................................................ and justice will take its course in Nigeria |
I don't blame this bloody fool and idiot of a man that know nothing but laughing lik an imbeccile. But was he addressing goats? I can't imagine myself being among the audience, I would simply hav told him to shut his filthy mouth.perhaps he wanted to compare himself to one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus. Nigeria is such a funny country, if a mad man can be controlling traffic whatels aren't we gonna see? |
padiehh: Lets me try and explain electricity tariff in simple terms as possible, probably it might help.@padiehh You haven't succeeded in shedding any light, you have only succeeded in telling us that you belong to the cabal inflicting hardship on the Nigeria masses, and that you even have no knowledge of what you are defending. Before i proceed, let me quickly educate you, the terms FIXES COST and CAPEX are not the same thing should never be used interchangeable. Now back to the business, What the government of this land is doing is fraud, wickedness and injustice. Its not enough that they defraud the national treasury and allocate national resources among themselves, but now they are taking from the little that we have. Please permit me to tell you how ridiculous is your argument, while the prepaid metering system is okay, the tarrif is rather exorbitant in Nigeria context and i will tell you why. Currently,(with epileptic and erratic power supply), an average Nigeria family spend up to N2,500 monthly, this most times is for bulbs, tv, fan and perhaps ac, and for average of about 3to 5 hours in a day power supply. I ask, if we begin to have 15- to 20 hours you can imagine how much the consumption would be. Before someone asks me how much tarrif is in USA, UK and the rest, can you please tell me how much the governments of those countries pay as minimum wage and confirm the naira equivalent yourself. A government that pays encourages 18k minimum wage to the Nigeria masses and does nothing to ensure the teaming population in the private sector is properly remunerated through adequate policies, but enforces fat payslip for politicians and yet encourages stealing and plundering of national treasury while the common man on the street is made to pay through his nose just to survive. No WICKEDNESS done against fellow human shall go unpunished. I rest my case |
Johndoe100: I have been reading your posts and I must say you are intellectually challenged. You seem to lack the ability to reason like someone who has been through the educational process. It may be that you went to one of these "computer colleges" at the corner of your street, but even then bro you daft sha.Let me start by asking you d level of your educational. I battling with myself not to call you a fool. Your C-in C came on air to tell the whole world that he cannot visit some states within the country for security reasons, this is a man who enjoys heavy military protection then unarmed, unguarded youths should be send to those same places in the name of national programe. Bulllshit. There is nothing for you guys to hide, the international community is well aware that your man cannot handle the insurgence, so stop deceiving ursef about creating false impression. Just few days ago, the america society issued a warning to their citizens in abj and if u are not informed let me tell you, foreign earline operators don't allow their crew members pass the night in abuja again. Finally may I ask u a question, have u ever lost a family member or friend to crises in any parT of d country, you would have known d pain it bring. Wicked soul, your judgement is in God's hands |
gboss4sure: Good one GEj, so by July 13th we will know wad up?.. Am waiting. When people claim that GEJ befitted from the subsidy scam i always ask myself why can someone remove what he is benefiting from knowing fully very well that it will open doors to probe unpon probe. To me GEJ is clean of the subsidy stuff until proved otherwise.I pray for the restoration of ur senses, and may your eyes be opened. I wont waste my time educating you on what the government should have done rather than inflicting us with higher price for PMS. But permit me to just ask you two or three questions here: How come it was in the election year that subsidy skyrocketed? If you have headache, do you cut off your head? And finally, what do you call a farmer who thinks its wise to sell his yam (at cheap price)to someone and then ask his family to patronize the person for their pounded yam(at exorbitant price). Wise/foolish or wicked? Well you are entitled to your own opinion. We know those who paralyzed our refineries for their selfish gains, and they are not far from the corridors of power. On a final note, am getting tired of coming to nairaland. I can see how gullible most Nigerian youths are ( even though i don't know everybody's age), am getting more afraid for this country's future. While social media is used to enthrone good governance in other part of the world, we are here full of sentiments, and so parochial in our arguments. One thing am very confident about is that time will tell, whether your man meant well for the majority of Nigerian populace or not, its just a matter of time. |
edicolove: NL. The theatre of ignorance. Do you know how many committees the US government sets up weekly to do different stuff? All governments in the world are run by committees. Its not perculiar to Nigeria or GEJ. But, of course, haters and bigots will always have erections once its about GEJ. Lol@ Edicolove, I wonder who is actually displaying utter ignorance here!!! U mentioned US, am sure you have never been close to any citizen of that country not to talk of being there? American citizens will not take 10% of the rubbish our leaders are throwing to us here and we are still defending them. You set up a committee to probe an incident, they gave you a report and you set up another committee to review the report, i hope you know all these committee run at a cost? Do you watch news on international governance? We are waiting, i wont be surprised if another committee comes after this one. Soon we will be having committee to examine what our president eats. |
musKeeto: Chasis no.@musketoo, What is the meeting of this? Is it only christian that ue poster? Haven't u seen other religious sect poster and inscriptions? Do u have to demonstrate your disgust for xtianity here. If I were to be in d force, I would track down people like you in the fight against terrorism. Damned extremist!!! |
.. Fashola na en senior self.. Nonsense!!! ..... Was finking the guy would even be considered a chief justice soon.. I no knw sa na my best friend mate en be
If you decide to use the Generator, then you have to travel to the filling station and buy the fuel that is the variable component….the unit you buy from PHCN.
