The guy went about it the wrong way. Accept it, thank her and then put it away if it falls below your standards. In the past, I have received gifts from girls which were not to my taste, I accepted it gladly, managed to wear it once or twice when meeting up with them then trash it.

Economically you can cope.

I've tried dis stuff. But see d problem is first the distance is not trekkable. It's really far. Secondly on feeding. Trust me buying cooked food is more economical. I live with someone and if I cook I'll be cooking for him and his brother and I'm d one squatting so I can't be stingy with cooked food. So I beta eat out. And dia are oda expenses. Buying little tins like soap, paste, paying for a haircut, and all dos small small yeye tins. Plus if a kid or someone begs me for 1h dat Kain tin. I won't say no.
So 25k no fit abeg.

She asked if I knew d sacrifice she made in other to bring out dat amount and give to me to go back to school (5k). I had to apologize, besides I was the only one in the full bus to give dat woman anything at all.
So, I Kno it's not the topic on ground but yes most of us are wicked including me sometimes, but I've trained myself to consciously act kindly. It has nothing to do with Christianity or any religion, infact I'm agnostic and will probably soon be fully atheist. So u beta take up the training to show empathy always, not wen convenient.
