I take it that there are people who visit this forum to learn and based on that I made an input. When you say the guy is 100% correct, it simply means you need to learn too. For your information, when you see an alcoholic drink, the alcohol content is always written. This is international standard. Whenever you pick an alcoholic drink, check the alcohol content. For instance a bottle of Cape Maclear wine contains 14% Alcohol and the bottle is 750mls. What does this information mean?
It means that every 100mls from this drink contains 14 grams of alcohol. If someone consumes the whole 750mls, he has taken in 14 x 7.5 = 105 grams of Alcohol.
The issue of intoxication is now individually determined, while some may start misbehaving on taking say 10gm of alcohol, others may appear unshaken after consuming say 80mg. We now talk of individual thresholds.

This is not true. Chemical reactions mean that something can change from one state to another. If a diluted drink can no longer make you as tipsy then it is not that same drink. If you were to write the equation for the reaction would the reactants not be different from the products? A change in the number of molecules affects the molecular structure, meaning that the what you have is actually something else. That's why your sugar drink will be less sweet when you add too much water. Water is a chemical too.
By adding water you have initiated a chemical reaction between the molecules of sugar and H20. What you get is not exactly the same. It cannot be the same. Change is chemical structure effects a change in physical properties; in this case taste.

Even though I don't agree with every thing u Said, it's obvious u have strong knowledge in chemistry. The glucose in sugar reacts with water to form carbon dioxide which in water exists as carbonic acid and has a sour taste. So inferentially dat is what caused the change in taste of the solution... Lolx but common sense should tell us dat d taste just changed because of dilution. If not just a little water added should change the taste of the sugar because CO2 is still formed but alas it doesn't

C1 = 30% = 0.3
V1 = 100ml
V2 = 100ml + 100ml( beverage of zero conc.) = 200ml
C2 = ?

Solution:
C1V1 = C2V2
0.3× 100 = C2 × 200
C2 = 0.3×100÷ 200
C2 = 0.15= 15%

Therefore, the alcoholic concentration has reduced by half upon addition of a 100ml beverage of zero concentration.

I'm glad u know ur serial dilution formula, but in analytical chemistry after calculations u need sense to draw ur inference. The 30% in ur beverage is 30ml. Of undiluted ethanol made up to 100ml with ur beverage, so even if u dilute the drink and consume the whole of the diluted drink u've still consumed dat 30%= 30ml of absolute ethanol. So dat 30% will still work on u no worry. However the rate of reaction inside ur body will be altered simply because ur system is more hydrated.
Funny enough u can still see it this way cos it's the same tin. U buy one beer and one fanta u drink d beer first, den drink the fanta immediately after. Have u reduced d concentration of the beer?

Yes and it's simple science expressed by the formula
C1V1 = C2V2

C= Concentration
V=Volume

So if you add a non-alcoholic drink to an Alcoholic drink there will be an increased new Volume (V2) while the new Concentration(C2) will decrease.

Seems u crammed formulas... If u mix a bottle of star with a bottle of say fanta into a bigger bottle and drink the full new bottle which could be ur "V2" u've not reduced the concentration of the alcohol hence it will still have d same effect.

Truth is they suck and d nurses even worse, Dy are mostly incompetent, infact once u walk into a hospital and see d inscription, "we care but God heals" just don't trust dos people Dy don already warn day Dy are just dia to take care of u till u die or God heals u, dia incompetence proves dis. I don't want to sound so pained but truth is most of dis doctors in Nigeria don't know what Dy are doing.

Trust me dia are times in life when it seems nothing is working for u, u broke, ur family broke and divided, parents separated, u fighting a disease, and worse is u have a very high taste of life so it makes enduring become almost impossible, u just feel like ending it. Here in Abuja, any serviced apartment less than 2M/yr must be suffering from either epileptic power supply or poor security or unkept enviroment or all mentioned. I stayed in one I paid 1.6M two years ago but was meant to pay unnecessary dues all through the year(if it's not security, it's transformer or AEPB dues else dustbins will spill and smell).

Meanwhile a friend/colleague staying in 2M apartment was enjoying even free DSTV subscription every quarter as additional peck of his rentage. No be person told me to change the next year as I calculated all the monthly dues I paid and it amounted to 2.3M when added to my actual rent.

Na to build my own sure pass now. Can't buy all these poorly built apartments selling all around here relatively cheap though
