I work in the med lab.... Well sometimes we have false negative or false positive. False negative might be dangerous because no further tests are done. But false positives can easily be rectified because further confirmatory tests are done.

What I meant if she's on ART regularly, the chances of her transmitting it to her husband or child is zero because the virus will be reduced to the level where it can't be detected in her blood anymore only in reservoir tissues.

Yes she's on ARTs, it was even there case I learnt that ARVs are free. And whoever canvassed to make it free for patients is an angel. I did research on that and found out it was the Indian doctors and producers that fought for it to be free when they started producing there ARVs and notable superstars like rihanna, alicia keys, bono protested and it was free worldwide. Kudos to them. The America's FDA was against it as it generated funds for them so they clandestinely fought back with all their might but God did. Thanks to the proprietors of the free ARVs as they made hiv not to be a death sentence. I've always asked this question that if eventually there's an all out war in the world then hiv pandemic will rise as means to get the free drugs will diminish to zero. I feel sorry for the hiv patients

She may be actually negative. Few pregnant women have false positive results. She may need to do a more accurate PCR or even western blot test to confirm her status if she is sure she didn't do anything that could expose her to the virus.

I think they would have done that because that time was a weighty & bemused time for him because he was skeptical and I believe he conducted another test in a different lab and more before he became convinced and faced his demons squarely. Strong man I must say. I wouldn't take that risk if I was in his shoes.

I really don't know much about it as it's there personal issue. And what I said up there is all I know. She discovered she was hiv positive when she was pregnant for the first child. And according to the husband he was scared it'll affect the child but it didn't after proper care was taken on the child. The boy is 7yrs nw and he's healthy and hiv negative. Don't knw how but God did.


And what do u mean by if the husband didn't get it up till now then he'll never get it again....are u a doctor??

You're correct about this....I know a friend that his wife discovered hers when she was pregnant even when they conducted hiv test before proper wedding in the church as directed, she was negative. So when she went for antenatal, they requested for series of test and she found out she's hiv positive. Husband is still negative as of February, 2022. They are still happily married till now with 3 kids that are negative. She is still taking her ARVs and conducting tests when asked to check her count(done knw the actual name). Husband has faced his demon squarely and they are waxing strong in the marriage. As of the man on the video, sit her down and ask her heart to heart questions on how she contacted the disease and where she fell culpable and exposed to the disease and if she's still lying then u have to dump her a$$. The ball is in ur court bro.

As for me I have a job but in my own view, it's not enough with respect to the high inflation of basic commodities in the market at the moment. I have relocated to a low income flat in a remote village so I could pay the rent easily without hesitation. and on the matter of security, I've taken it upon myself to secure myself and property from thieves or robbers. As a graduate in Nigeria, if u don't have multiple sources of earning funds, you'll be sorry for yourself. Then flying thoughts will occupy your sense of reasoning making you feel like a failure. Offourse you probably are not a failure instead it's the kind of government that is piloting the affairs of the country. I'm sorry to say that Nigeria has gone aback in all ramifications that pertains it. In 2015 when APC removed the incumbent PDP government from power, I knew Nigeria will go back instead of going forward and innovation because of the leader we have naively brought onboard. I experienced buhari first hand in the 80s and it wasn't a good experience. Now we have brought him again and he made it worse. Needless to say much or trigger harsh emotions because of my stand on buhari, let's get it right coming this February 2023 and vote whom you know that can pilot the affairs of this country both in wisdom and integrity. Am not pointing fingers but as an individual don't put selfish interest because of what you stand to gain if your 'supposed candidate' wins. Don't be surprised that you'll find yourself on the 2nd reserve bench in this field called Nigeria.
