My office is between the living room and dining room where it has a corner-based desktop computer hutch desk to equip with flat-bed scanner, color printer, graphic tablet, webcam, desktop computer with KVM (keyboard-video(monitor)-mouse switch) cable between two desktop tower computer (mine and the client's), and lot of computer books and CDs. I also have pc tools for opening inside tower case to replace computer parts such as RAM chip, sound card, video graphic card, hard disk drive, pci-usb card, etc.

It has two metal file cabinets, one has tall one and the other has laterial file cabinet. It also has two routers, one is wired hook-up with wireless router for 2 wireless network adapters and for DSL high speed internet connection. It also has telephone that hook up with my special device called telecommunication device for the deaf (TDD).

My son has his own desktop computer at his room that comes with wireless network adapter that transmitted to my wireless router.

The second wireless network adapter is for client's desktop computer or laptop when I need testing internet connection for Windows update downloaded.

Finally I serve my clients bringing their computer tower/laptop coming to my residence house for my computer repair service (including virus attack/hardware upgrade/installation) as well as my government contractors communicating with me virtually (electronically) for my web development service dynamically for 8 years business service working at home.

You don't have to be in Nigeria, you can check your state's tourism site in the USA that will give you variety of travel agent certification as well as technology software (airline/hotel package). Each state of USA are different rules/procedures obtaining the travel agent certification!

For Nigeria which I am aware of power failure would affect your internet connection speed - - -cut off and back on. You have to restart your computer/laptops and wireless network adapters again when it comes to power failure or thunderstorm/lightning seasons that slows your connection. Internet provider's server downtime can also affect it too.

For 24/7 week, nope, it will not affect your internet connection speed range from 75%-100% stability if you choose broadband high speed internet provider. I do not know about dial-up connection.

However, there is alternative way using peer-to-peer networking system without internet connection- - -just wireless LAN only to each other. Google it for more info.

The D-LINK we are using is not wireless. Now I can check the price of D-LINK LAN wireless router.
From what you are saying, it means that we have to get wireless lan for each desktop as they did not come with their own wireless like laptops.

Now you already have wired D-LINK router that has existed 8 terminals. (no wireless)

You can buy another D-LINK or LINKSYS wireless router as second host computer and multiple D-LINK or LINKSYS wireless network adapaters for each desktop computers and laptops. It will configure the different IP ADDRESS directly to the new wireless router, not the one you already existed wired D-LINK router.

I believe newer laptop should have its own built-in bluetooth WIFI enabled to detect transmitting to the new wireless router. If laptop does not have WIFI capability, you still have to buy NIC installed each laptops the same way for desktop computers.

The more you can expand more multiple wireless network adapters for more computer/laptops in the future use, no problem!!!
