Jman06:They may not know, but they definitely will be displaying strong head. Of what use is it to a "perfect" good guy, if the lady is displaying strong head for him daily? His life will be miserable. Fine, he won't beat her. But the marriage will sha still end in divorce. |
Lastmankc:That's the main thing. Men expect their wife to be submissive. Once she is not, the man is tempted to beat. Some will beat, others will not. But in any case, the man will be sad for his actions. The woman that was displaying strong head, will display it again!! And tempt the man Again. So It's better the man just leave her. She will not change and he too will not change. |
ud4u:But they should automatically always be submissive to their husbands abi? - Probably she wasn't showing that submission. Hence the man resorted to beating her. In any case, even if she forgives him and the man also constrains himself,.... again she will display no submission and the man will beat again. - So it's not only the man at fault. Both of them are at fault with each other. The man should leave her, because she is just going to tempt him again and again and again. |
Alusiizizi:Iron rods basically turn the road into a bridge resting on the ground. That's the purpose. So the way they put expansion joint on bridges is the way they should put on the road. And such a road will behave just like a bridge ie, NOT crack. I don't know if these roads in the pictures had expansion joints. But without iron rods, concrete will crack due to bending forces from moving vehicles. |
sonnie10:There's iron rods in that one. Iron rods add reinforcement to make the concrete stronger to take more load. This one in the picture just looks like only cement without iron rods. And the cement seems very light, maybe 50mm to 100mm thick. That thing will crack like breakable plate. |
Ultimaximum:It's not today that Nigerians started japa-ing. Since 70's 80's they've been doing it. There used to be an advert on NTA in the 80's about a character called "Andrew". And here are the words as I remember them, Men, I'm checking out. We don't have light, water or .... something.. You can't even get good bottle of coca cola ... Then some other dude comes along, holds his shoulder and begs him not to leave Nigeria... be patriotic etc.. Andrew was played by Late Sir Enebeli Elebuwa. Here is another recent version of that "type" of advert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygZ4QV3n5as |
Omoawoke2:Yes, Abandon NIgeria, and just run to any country with white people. |
peterpiiro:I worked in one fabrication firm some time back. The oga used to go to US... then come back.... ![]() I asked him why he's coming back at all if he can go there. He said, he can't abandon his fabrication business here in Nigeria. Besides, he goes to US to go and buy diesel generators that oyibo are not using, since they always have light. .. bring it back here, convert to 240V and sell. And he's ok with that. |
Ikaeniyan0:They won't Government doesn't care. Just another way of saying, "you people are too plenty in Lagos. Just go away". Afterall, in China, there's a city where Chinese people have to get visa to enter the city. In London, they have congestion charge for cars. ... all different ways of reducing the number of people in the cities. |
TechCapon:It's like you saw that video on Channels TV. And he's right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw1E_4eoqqA
|
occfx:TOO Fast. Today's generation have no childhood. |
Well, there's a difference between remember and experiece. I experienced a few. But I remember some guy in boarding house ironing his shirt with this diamond shape at the back. I never did this. Nobody in my family or extended family ever tried radical moves like that. I never quite understood why he did it or what could was could possibly be fashionable about that.

OKUCHI11:Women typically copy men. So as a man, what have you to offer Nigeria? This country imports the whole world and has no running industries. The little ones that exist, there's no security to guard it. End result, everybody just sit down eat and scam daily. No other positive output. We all dislike the government, but consistently continue elect them into power. Same set of people everytime. |
VinnyBaba:I think you are dirtying the word "smart", polluting it with sh1t. The word you mean is "cunning". Smart means using intelligence to achieve a positive outcome. Cunning means using intelligence to achieve a negative/evil outcome. - For all the "smartness" people have claimed to exhibit in this Nigeria, the final outcome was evil and destruction. The whole country is in chaos and disarray. So they weren't smart at all. They were cunning. And the result of cunning is always destruction. Look at the lekki Ikota demolition. All those home owners were cunning. But just like you thought, they too thought they were 'SMART' to build houses without correct building permit, by bribing this or that person. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgvIuM5uqPw&pp=ygUQbGVra2kgZGVtb2xpdGlvbg%3D%3D |
Xscape1993:The people are uneducated. That is what is happening in Nigeria. The British colonised Nigeria and left. The set of Nigerian leaders taking over from them, should have been very wise as to how to talk to the people and rule the country peacefully. Instead govt pissed off the people and the people became unpatriotic and started destroying all govt properties and parastatals things. Corrupting the police, corrupting the Army... Today now, the govt doesn't care about the people again (only to buy 5 Billion Naira yatch). And the people are losing their heads, committing suicide, japa-ing out of the nation, f***ing about on social media and exercising all manner of stupidity. |
henryadex:It's the same with Japa people, US, UK, Dubai. If things are tough, they are suffering there. But they won't return to Nigeria. Continue pretending that all is well. When you ask them for money, they will cut you from Whatsapp. |
Raskimonojendor:What about when I travel to America? Do you still see freight trains when I travel? |
CJStarz:Police is supposed to be funded by Federal government. When government doesn't give money for uniform or other essentials, Their oga will just tell his boys, "oya, go and find the money". Na that time their behavior will change. Government is the one causing their madness. |
Urheadmaster:Nigeria police is just carrying out the mandate of the British colonial masters as they have always done. To BEAT the people to obedience. |
Evolutionism:The problem with education is that people see it as White Man knowledge. And when you go into society with Education, you will meet many village people and traditional people who take you to be a threat to their cultural way of life EVEN if they are doing things in the most moronic upside down backwards way. In fact, they will say you are insulting them. In the movie, Black Panther, they successfully integrated scientific knowledge with their African tradition. That's why they were happy in their Wakanda. In Nigeria, we have not done this. In Western nations, they don't even have villages, so they are all open to Education 24/7. - In summary, when you get Educated in Nigeria, you start realising a need to flee the village, or even the country, to get away from backwards cultural practices. Hence the high rate of Japa since 1970s and the low value placed on Education in Nigeria. |
Darkseid:Octa core means 8 cores on the cpu. That implies that if you use the phone and open 8 or more apps at the same time, the 8 cores of the CPU will be running each app fine without the phone slowing down, dragging or just freezing performance. When companies first started making smart phones, mid 2000s, they didn't power them well. They didn't realise that typical user opens many apps at same time. And that slows phones down. So in these later years, that started adding more cores to the processor to handle this performance.. |
donproject2:Smartphone and social media influence. It makes children think they are invincible and can do anything. This girl has been heavily influenced by it. Unfortunately, in prison, there will be no smart phone. That's where her eyes will start to clear. |
olulekan1992:But see what Amechi said about us Nigerians. ... that we don't react. We just doing mumu, allowing nonsense to go unabated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw1E_4eoqqA&t=122s&pp=ygUSY2hhbm5lbHMgdHYgYW1lY2hp |
TO BE Everything is TO BE.... Now nko? |
So people are just plenty in NIgeria, doing nothing. All dependent on Government to give them everything they need. No wonder government and police just treat people like sh1t. Afterall, people are just shouting, complaining and producing nothing. |
The work of the leader is to inspire the people and show them by personal examples. This man is not doing anything O. Neither showing nor inspiring. |
Lordbinsmar:But they will never believe. All their laws, policies and so called freedom, is just to kill others. |
roliomomo:Freedom right When you give people freedom still use their hands to freely kill themselves again. |
And you didn't Mention Zimbabwe? That everybody there is a Zillionaire?
|
So the Japa is also not guaranteed. |
The whole country produces nothing. Only 1 tiny percent is extracting crude oil for exportation that brings back the foreign exchange The people are either dying of hunger, lying down on the street, on top of bridge, under bridge.. kidnapping each other for money, japa-ing with their last remaining money or doing jobless abero up and down demanding money from motorists. So think outside the box , how to engage the people before they destroy themselves. |
