African mentality! We believe that the Arabs, the whites and other coloured people love us more than their people! Please, think again. Black man has a looooong way to go. What would Saudi gain in reducing production? How would that stop Iran from pumping their excess stock? Buhari should go home and diversify the economy and stop juncketing up and down.
By the way, did anyone notice that while the Saudi king and Buhari were discussing terrorism, they deliberately avoided the real issue. The terrorists, Boko Haram, ISIS, Al queda, etc are all Muslims. They practice what their malams/imams teach them. Solution would be from the Muslim themselves and their malams who should teach love instead of hate and killing that they preach to their children. Islam should accept that the religion is the source if terror and work to stop same through preaching peace and love.

Abeg tell me wetin pure water get to do with dollar!
The people are not selling the water. They sell the packaging materials. If you cannot pay, you may as well ask for rain or river water and leave satchet water alone, the boreholes and water treatment materials have imported components. Plastic pellets and extrusion machines are imported. The spare parts used by pure water companies are imported or do you have made in Nigeria now? Do not think "one-way", the effect of exchange rate is bigger than you thought. This is the CHANGE Buhari and Tinubu promised.

Do you need dollars to sell Ugwu?
Do you need dollars to sell garri?
Do you need dollars to sell paper, tomatoes, oil, maggi, salt sugar e.t.c yet the prices have all gone up.

Who should we blame for this? The govt or the greedy Nigerians who are good at exploiting any little opportunity they see?

Most Nigerians are by default greedy demons always looking for ways to shortchange their neighbors.

The situation of the country right now is a reflection of the people that lives in it.

Once more, the heat in the country shouldn't be blamed on the govt too as someone is already blaming the govt for this.

This govt is even too slow in dolling out the austerity measures needed to get the foundation of this country erected.
The transporter needs spare parts for his vehicle. The spares are imported with dollars which is currently #400. The maker of maggi sources raw materials some of which are imported at #400/$. The list goes on and on. At the end, the transporter will add some money so that he could repair his vehicles sometime later, the market woman would add some money so that she can also pay for tomatoes, the tomatoes grower will add some money so that he can get fertilizer and buy new implements (some of which are imported @ #400/$) for next farming season, etc. It is called multiplier effect, my brother, not "greed" as you postulated.

Unfortunately, a government that is budgeting #6Trillion of which about #2.0 Trillion is going to be from borrowing is not austere. A government planning about 50% deficit budgeting is to say the least highly "unserious" and a fatality going somewhere to happen. I pity those of you in Nigeria for the next 7 - 10 years, it would be a very sad story to tell. Wait and see, soon, government would introduce price controls and soldiers would be forcing people to sell their goods at controlled prices. The people will hail Buhari then. Thereafter, the siege would start. Commodity prices would skyrocket like the dollar is doing now. Toilet paper would become so scarce that you would be buying newsprint for use. Milk and other essential commodities would out of the reach of the average Nigerians, since no sensible trader would import items at #400/$ and sell at #197/$, the middle class that is now growing would be wiped out as job losses would become daily news. My advice, go and farm now. The farm produce would atleast provide fufu and amala for your family, because, the abakiliki rich would be for the rich only. This is the Buhari you voted in. He did in 1984 and for 20 months, Nigerians saw hell. Now he has not just 20 months, but 48 months and even likely to go further as he has shutdown opposition. Enjoy the CHANGE. Next time, you would look before you leap!!!

As a Nigerian, I am pained and disturbed seeing our leaders "leading and living in fools paradise". We now have a government that is not just confused but does not even know it. Else how do you preside over an economy where you peg $ at N197 while the real value is N400? Can Buhari please find any Nigerian who would prefer to exchange his $ for N197 because he/she is so patriotic? So why continue to deceive yourself and over N170million with "I am yet to be convinced on why I should devalue Naira".
It is even more disheartening that the government does not have any idea as to how to stop the steep fall of the Naira. The way it is, the value will continue to fall until such a time that Buhari wakes up or Nigerians force him to like they forced to nominate ministers.
Baba, governance is not all about arresting people and juncketing around the globe. Please, sir sit up, form a clear economic policy and bring in tested Nigerians to drive this policy. The way it is, we are still on "Autopilot Government of Affliction".

If you still believe that this government mean anything good for Nigerians, you as dull as a Zombie and Dullard. Who are the "budget mafias"? Month before the budget was presented, Osinbajo had already revealed that the FG was spending N8 Trillions. When people started shouting and questioning how the FG was going to fund the N8T, they retracted to N6.8T. Now, again they have failed in making simple budget, they want to blame a faceless Mafia. How much has changed in the revised budget? Did the government reduce the final numbers or just spread it to other areas?
Indeed we have a presidency full of "Dullards". Blaming everyone else, except themselves.

Secondly, the math test does not in any way prove anything. A "dumb" may have come across such a problem just a day before and pass it while a genius may fail it. If it were Aregberascal ; some Kenyan bankers to negotiate another loan for Osun

The only African leader that the Commonwealth look up to to change Africa. Ride on sir, your foes are under you feet, no matter who they be. Your foundation for peace, democracy, justice, fairness and equity is known world over. Those who hate you forget that the lies they spread are known within the diplomatic circle. They forget that those they tell lies to have embassies here and they know the truth. Fools they are and fools they will remain. Haters can call you any name, but the world call you "The Hero of Africa". Those who doubt these awards should hold their breath as the BIG one is on the works. By then, they would surely DIE.

@OP, your write up is full of lies and you failed to tell us why some people used Boko Haram to make governance impossible for Jonathan. Who are the "owners" of the oil Wells? Who are the major employees of oil firms? As a Niger Deltan that you claimed you are, what benefits have you received from the oil exploration in Niger Delta? You blamed Jonathan that was president for 5 years, but forget that oil exploration has been on in the last 60 years. The damage done in 60 years by the North and Western collaboration is what you expect Jonathan to fix in 5 years of Boko Haram distractions? Or are you telling us that some people were not responsible for the spillage and pillages that had continued in Niger Delta. It is high time Nigeria seek other products to Finance the economy and leave oil alone. Thank God that oil is fast losing relevance and government is diversifying the economy. Let oil become like coal do that the Niger Delta people will rest. All Niger Deltan should continue to pray and struggle to stop oil exploration. May God give the world knowledge for cheaper energy sources so that oil would become irrelevant. May Iran push in their oil at $17 per barrel so that it would become unviable for our country to continue oil exploration. The cheating and lies need to stop!!!

Politics › Open Letter To Aisha's "Tuwo Sinkafa Eaters" (TSE) by Validated(op): 11:04pm On Jan 23, 2016
Dear TSE,

It is getting very clear that Aisha Tuwo Sinkafa Eaters on social media now have a new assignment. In the last couple of weeks, these individuals have started campaign of calumny and charade against the person of Jonathan. We all know that the APC and Buhari government are not comfortable with all the various international awards and accolades that Jonathan has been receiving in the past few months after leaving office. This campaign of calumny should not be allowed to fester. To all those calling for Jonathan to be invited by EFCC, I will always inform you that GEJ is not Metuh or Dasuki. Having held sensitive positions of Vice-President (3-years) and President (5-years), only very few Nigerians have as much information about this nation than Jonathan. People in power should know when to stop pushing their lucks ... To those accusing Jonathan of silence, the answer remain that "Silence is Golden ... and best answer to FOOLS".

To Tuwo Sinkafa Eaters, the little change that Buhari/Lai Mohammed/APC is paying you would only last a season. Life is not a season, but many seasons. Buhari has come and definitely, in a matter of time, he will go. That is life. About a decade ago, Qaddafi (Ghadafi) was a great man in Libya, clamping down on the opposition. Infact, there was no opposition in Libya of Ghadafi's time, he was a maximum ruler, but today, he is no more. His legacy is a Libya that is torn in shreds. He was not alone in creating the Libya he controlled, people were with him and helped him build his dictatorial regime. By now many of those acolytes and children are either dead of in prison or on the run... They were the "Hailing Hailers" that pushed him to his downfall. Back home between 1993-98, Gen. Sani Abacha held sway, he was a dictator. It got to a point the all five political parties then were forced to declare him their sole-candidate for president, but before the end of the same year he was gone. All his "gra-gra", arrests/detention and intimidation, gone. For those who forget easily, Abacha hounded many opposition members into prison. People like MKO Abiola, OBJ and any other opposition leaders were imprisoned on trumped up charges of coup plotting, etc. Just like you, the present day TSE, there were people like Daniel Kalu, National Chairman of Youth Earnestly Ask for Abacha (YEAA) and others media people shouting "Who The Cap Fits". Hear Daniel Kanu, YEAA's leader, "the destiny of this nation and the transition to democracy under the present dispensation can only achieve its viable potentials if handled by prudent, purposeful, and transparent leadership of General Abacha". Only God knows where Mr. Daniel Kanu is now or what he does for a living, but Nigeria became better than what he predicted after Abachas demise. The Abacha family are still waxing strong, may be not minding Mr. Kalu's life now.

My dear TSE, use your life and time for better things and encourage Buhari to deliver dividends of his election promises. For example, in the 8 months, there has been No Light, No Fuel, Economy is collapsing, the Nigerian social fabric is being destroyed on the altar of ethnic chauvinism, our constitution and legal system are being trample upon and you can do is to continue to Hail Buhari. The change and Tuwo Sinkafa from Aisha will cease soon after Buhari leaves office, and who knows, may be a "Pharaoh who does not know Joseph" could become the President, you can never tell. If you doubt it, ask General Bamaiyi and Col Al-Mustafa what they experienced under OBJ that was jailed by their former master, Abacha. Today, some of you are quick to defend Buhari when he tramples on our laws. You are quick to support him when the opposition is being decimated. You are quick to support Buhari's dictatorial tendencies. Just like people and the press supported Ghadafi and Abacha in their dictatorial rule, you are toeing the same step. Please, rise above parochial view and small change you are being paid and be nationalists. Let us all come together and build a nation founded on Truth, Equity and Justice.

God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!

Yours sincerely,
Validated
