Topson88:You may look the way of Unilever at 13.05 or below,no serious dividend sha |
goody234:No room for "Variety is the spice of life" when it comes to stock investments o ![]() But on a more serious note, a times the next stock one needs to buy is actually the one already in your portfolio |
[quote author=goody234 post=109813253]any good buys for dividend payout ..i have living trust and courtville in my portfolio [/quot Gtco at 25.50 or below would not be a bad pick |
Nigerialabalaba:Haba, our own labalaba, most of these stocks did not just drop like that within a day or 2, the signs were actually there, portfolio rebalancing is actually key to long term investment, once there are signs of dwindling fundamentals, too much debt, bad management, persistent reduction in dividends, one should just pick race |
seyisanya:You have said it all |
Dollarwoman:Did anything change (like poor fundamentals,or bad news) or what was the reason for selling? Once you think you've bought right, then hold tight till something changes your conviction Try to have a strategy as well as set rules for buying and selling a stock, |
ZikkyChops:My brother Gain is gain, 10% of 100k is 10k, 10% of 100M is 10M, depends on what you're looking at. Am Just happy for those in the bus |

megamart247:I don't think so,am sure those that have held UCAP, for the long term would have a different story.Ucap has steadily increased their div over the years and currently, its not doing bad, In investing, its actually not what you buy that only matters, its when and how much you buy it that matters in as much as you're keeping it for the long term UBA was once on sale early this year, after declaration of poor div, I got a sizeable amount at 6.7 then(though av sold).I think the idea is just to buy a good stock when it's on sale, then hold |
Pamelayoung:All things being equal, they should even pay a higher div, probably N9+ for this current financial year.Okomu has always been consistent with div payment, but right now the div yield is not looking too attractive based on current price, but all the same its a stock that should be in ones portfolio, for the long term, especially for those that seek a steady cash flow |
debeey87:Do you mean interim or final div, cos okomu paild N7 final div for last financial year |
locodemy:Money is actually made while waiting |
Willie2015:Just like FCMB and Sterling bank MM,all you need is a good dose of patience to get it at a good price, they will do the pushing for you ![]() |
?
hope the stock time time to shed will come soon so as to be more attractive
