Nigerians sef. It is not fair now.
In a country that pratices one child policy, it is quite obvious they can't cope with the population not to talk of illegal immigrant.

Dis Guy:
and what if 89% of the third largest city live on less than $2 a day, will they really want to use the airport?
It is a shame that more people live less than $2 a day, poverty can never be fully eradicated but the airport project will create more jobs, giving some of the poorer people an opportunity to better their situations. With time they may actually be able to use the airport if they so wish!
It is good for all really in my opinion

It appears you don't know there are some tomatoes now that are made of gold, even silver peppers and diamond vegetable oils. Research has proved that these new discoveries are good for the stomachs of Nigerian politicians.

SportsRe: Do You Believe Juju Exists in Football? by vanitty: 9:28am On Aug 31, 2009
I am guessing juju is the equivalent of black magic/witch craft

If you believe there is a God that does good and blesses people, annointed pastors that preaches good then why is it so hard to believe that their might be a devil somewhere that pretty much does the same except in a bad way and has people that work for him.

But as someone said does the juju work?
BusinessRe: Lekki Airport: White Elephant Project? by vanitty: 9:02am On Aug 31, 2009
Report has said by 2015, Lagos will be the third largest city in the world and more & more people will be using the airport
So why not plan ahead?
Solve future problems before they become present problems.
Should we wait until we actually need it before we start building it?
Having in mind it takes quite a  while to finish the contruction and actually becoming operational.
To crown it all is it not going to be privately carried out? Carry on jor and ignore the cynical folks.

The same Police force that arrested a goat for robbery claiming he changed from human? cheesy

Well if I am to be generous I will say yes they can be reformed but it will take some dedication, rooting out the bad eggs among them, making an example of some of them e.t.c

PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Sue Sony Entertainment For This Rubbish. by vanitty: 4:58pm On Aug 29, 2009
Failed to see what is so funny about the clip  undecided

Some Nigerians will "threaten"to sue anybody that tries to poke fun e.g sony (albeit failing woefully IMO) at anything Nigeria
whereas our own politician the "money gobblers" the real comedians are been left alone.
Biko if you wan sue person make una start with the ones in the country first. Thank you & God bless!

becoomrich:
sony should remove and offer apology to nigeria. many nigerian living aboard may suffer heart attack and stroke over this. and emotion problem. I see class action may be coming toward sony very soon. Sony has to pull down the AD, it is not funny. it is stupid. I am not laughing. It is insulting.
As usual  grin grin grin cheesy
TV/MoviesRe: Daniel Craig Is An Insult To The James Bond Persona by vanitty: 2:20pm On Aug 29, 2009
You can't really blame Daniel Craig for the plot, tough act, e.t.c your bone of contention should be with the writers

Anyway Pierce Brosnan is definately the most amazing bond ever.

TravelRe: Bellview: The Worst Airline In Nigeria. Don't Try It! by vanitty: 10:41am On Aug 28, 2009
ogogoro:
Please spare me about Bellview being Nigerian = Failure etc. What a load of bollocks. For the price you paid for your ticket, what did you expect? VIP treatment? How can you pay £320 for a Lagos - London flight, and expect to be comfortable? Did you pick the airline because of the price, or because of the comfort? If you wanted comfort, why didn't you fly first class with BA? Did they not deliver the services advertised (i.e fly you to your destination). So what are you complaining about? Lagos to PH, 45 minutes flight, and you are complaining about food. Didn't you eat before you left the house?
£320 for where? I paid £489  for the flight and had to pay extra for excess luggage (my hand luggage was not accepted as hand luggage even though that has always be my hand luggage with other airlines). I didn't even know it was on par with easyjet, didn't know it was a budget airline.

my problem with them was the cancellation without any notice. Even if you pay 50p for a flight, they are expected to let you know . That is how it is done everywhere else why must our own Nigeria be different?

Never again, Never again.

TravelRe: Bellview: The Worst Airline In Nigeria. Don't Try It! by vanitty: 11:04pm On Aug 27, 2009
Horrible experience with bellview, the first time I took it was also my last.
From london to Lagos, it was ok, the food was horrible but that I can deal with.

From Lagos back to London, the flight was cancelled, I was not informed about this at all. Infact I called the number my agent gave me a couple of days before and I was told everything was fine,
I got to lagos (which is almost 5 hrs from Ilorin) only to be told the flight was cancelled they said a text was sent to me but somehow I never got the text and the next flight was a good 2 days later.
The food was horrible as usual

I always stick with Klm nowadays. Food is far more better and it is a much more comfortable airline really.
