FashionRe: How Do I Avoid Sweat Stains On My Shirt Collars? by vanitty: 12:38pm On Sep 11, 2009
More advisable to stop the sweat in the first place, there is this great product that does just that "odaban" apart from that wear darker colours that won't show the stains

Is your faith in your religion so weak, that you have to use another religion to defend yours? undecided
Why don't you just make your point based on the Qur'an alone
PoliticsRe: Is Politics A Profession by vanitty: 11:17am On Sep 11, 2009
Being a celebrity is no more a profession than being a politician.
The jobs they are meant to be doing however is one
FamilyRe: My Wife Is A Straight Arrow. by vanitty: 10:58am On Sep 11, 2009
Sex is very very important in a marriage. The fact that she will let you touch her when ovulating means the "tired " is just an excuse.
You need to start wooing her all over again, try chocolate, flowers, the whole works, set the mood, just spice it up infact be as romantic as you can be,  You might not be the good lover you think you are, change your tactics a bit, who knows it might help. Good luck
FamilyRe: My Husband Won't Accept Our Son's Disability by vanitty: 10:16am On Sep 11, 2009
Your husband is just being a jerk. He is not handling it well, he probably doesn't mean half of what he says, try marriage counselling for a while and if that doesn't work  a trial separation will be good betwen you and your hubby.
If all fails, you have to do what is best for your kid and protect him from illiterates.
You can contact disability services where you live and advice from family and friends should keep you going.
Dealing with a ADHD child is hard enough with a supportive husband not to talk of one that is being harsh

FamilyRe: Pls... by vanitty: 9:11am On Sep 11, 2009
A 3 year old is meant to be naughty and have tantrums but when it becomes too much, then their might be an underlying problem.
He is in a class full of 3 years old and if they are all scared of him, you have to try and rein him in a bit. You really don't want the teachers to label him.

I cannot speak for all but you can try naughty steps (that really helps at that age but you have to be very consistent), it also helps if your toddler knows the reason why you are punishing him (when he does something you don't approve of punish him immediately, don't wait awhile so he will know the reason he is been punished)

You could also try the ignore tactics, that works, there are a lot of ways you can discipline a 3 year old without resulting to spanking

You can also try changing his diet, make sure everything he eats is healthy. If your child is on sugar day in day out, then obviously he will be troublesome

But if you are really worried, it really doesn't cost  a dime to have him checked out for ADD, ADHD,OCD or any other problems so you will know earlier on if he is just being naughty or crying for help in his own little way

Christianity EtcRe: Abuzola: Questions Please by vanitty: 8:27am On Sep 11, 2009
That part of the Quran should be deleted really. It is not right that a book you are meant to live your life by is advocating marriage and sex to a minor.
I have never seen a right-thinking decent muslim that will allow some sick twisted paedophile marry their 9 year old baby daughter yet they try to defend the indefensible
Christianity EtcRe: I, A Former Islamic Extremist . . . by vanitty: 5:31am On Sep 11, 2009
Poor Ayotunde fellow. RIP.
Only God can save us

Muslims should be happy about this, atleast one person has been saved from going down the terrorist line, afterall the religion is one of peace.

Christianity EtcRe: American Teenager Cries Blood. Doctors Baffled. Could It Be Demonic? by vanitty: 3:33pm On Sep 04, 2009
Krayola2:
What research . . . there is nothing on those sites that relates to this boys case. If u did any research urself tongue u would have seen that all the doctors that have seen the boy have said he does not have any of the conditions that are associated with Haemolacria. They have no idea what is resonsible in this boys case. . .He has no tumor and has suffered no trauma to the head. Just cause a condition has been identified and named don't mean shit. Everything else is a mystery
Huh?
was the condition named "demonic"? undecided

The bellview people really need to go back to the drawing board. I have never heard anything positive about them, at least with other flight, some reviews are good , some are bad.
With bellview it is all bad bad bad

I mean IF you actually suceed to stop ovation from celebrating "criminals", a million other people will not hesistate to continue where it left off and the cycle wll go on and on and on!
PoliticsRe: Dele Momodu Replies Nairalanders! by vanitty: 3:37pm On Sep 03, 2009
This is a classic case of don't shoot the messenger.
He is a businessman, his source of livelihood is to celebrate people through his magazine, the people celebrated are paying him for his services, so what do you expect him to do? let his business goes to red just because he want to please some people? will you do the same?

PoliticsRe: After A Weekend With Mosquitoes, Cecilia Ibru Collapses In Court by vanitty: 8:30pm On Sep 02, 2009
I could care less if the person is special or not. undecided
What is wrong is wrong.
If only people can use her case - since it is well publicized to talk out about the state of Nigeria prison and lack of basic ammenities but oh no they will rather rejoice in her misery!
PoliticsRe: After A Weekend With Mosquitoes, Cecilia Ibru Collapses In Court by vanitty: 7:54pm On Sep 02, 2009
This is not good at all. It saddens me that we are so so so far behind on basic human right in Nigeria, isn't all suspect innocent until proven guilty? if you detain a person, He/she becomes your responsibility and it is your job to ensure she is not dead  by the time she goes to trial! If that means getting a mosquito repellent so be it.
If a "powerful" woman can be treated so, I feel for the ordinary citizen.
