PoliticsRe: I'm Going Back To My Village Empty, Says Man Who Lost Wife And 2 Kids *death Toll In Lagos Collapsed by vanitty: 7:22am On Mar 27, 2009
Such a sad story
If the house was truly renovated
The architect should be investigated for any wrong doing
FashionRe: Why Do Nigerians Wear Fullsuits And Ties? by vanitty: 7:15am On Mar 27, 2009

PoliticsRe: 5 Reasons Dora Akunyili's Rebrand Nigeria Program go tough!! : Watch ! by vanitty: 6:43am On Mar 27, 2009
I couldn’t agree more
When I read about the whole “rebranding” issue I found it very funny
I can only compare the whole rebranding to Lagos state governor busy beautifying Lagos without tackling the main issue
What is the point of rebranding if the product still remains the same?
I beg them to go back to the drawing board and come back with decent solutions to the Nigeria problem.
CultureRe: Intellectual Ignorance Is Destroying The Intellectual Culture Of Nigeria by vanitty: 6:31am On Mar 27, 2009
If I got your question correctly I say

Yes I do agree some of the media crap out nowadays can dump down a kid but let face it what is there for a young man/lady growing up to do in that country? Unless you have a very good imagination it is very hard to survive in that country without reading magazine, watching movies e.t.c
It is down to the parent to try and control the youth behaviour because at that age they are easily manipulated.

Also don’t blame the lack of intellectual culture entirely on the youths please. Why don’t you start from the top, from the big people upstairs busy embezzling money like no man’s business and finish at the little people always bickering about whose tribe is better e.t.c
TravelRe: Lagos: The World's 5th Worst Place to Live In by vanitty: 6:03am On Mar 27, 2009
Lagos shoud be upgraded to the worst place to live as far as i am concerned.
I have lived in many places but Lagos takes the crown without any doubt of the worst
Very dirty, congested, dangerous place to live
I hope they clean the place up.
Christianity EtcRe: Are The Ten Commandments Really Necessary? by vanitty: 5:58am On Mar 27, 2009
Honestly it is just common sense really
Even if you are not a christian don't you think abiding by the ten commandments will keep you out of trouble?
Those commandments are there for your own good.
RomanceRe: Need Some Help Here by vanitty: 5:50am On Mar 27, 2009

you know . . . . ignore the problem till it goes away!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by vanitty: 5:22am On Mar 27, 2009
@ lucabrasi
Your reasons are so off the mark
If you go through your post once more you will realise not once did you mention what makes gay people abnormal.
All you did was compare them with wankers in public places, cannibals.
You see those reasons you made are against the law. It is wrong.
Being a gay man/woman is not breking the law in ANY way.
Funny how people condemn it, yet they can't back up their claims apart from referencing the bible
RomanceRe: Is It Wrong For A Guy To Get Married At 21? by vanitty: 8:34pm On Mar 26, 2009
21  is way too young
I definately won't want my brother marrying that young no matter how matured he is. Experience they say is the best teacher and honestly what experience can a 21 year old have.
RomanceRe: Should I Contribut To The Money To Get The Apartment? by vanitty: 8:30pm On Mar 26, 2009
I wouldn't . . . . not with all you listed in your post.
PoliticsRe: Shockin! Yoruba Man Turn Into Monkie? Na Woo! Which Way Nigeria Haha by vanitty: 8:13pm On Mar 26, 2009

Christianity EtcRe: Do We Go To Hell If We Don’t Believe In Jesus? by vanitty: 7:26pm On Mar 26, 2009
don't you dare go back on your word, i remember you saying Jesus was the Son of God. How can you say someone is a son of someone you don't believe exists!

Thor:
That he is a Messiah or the son of a God (whichever one out of the hundreds that are worshipped that may be)
I find it absolutely plausible that a guy named Jesus was a cool dude and helped people a couple of thousand years ago. Just don't believe he could walk on water, turn water into wine etc etc etc,
but it is cool, let laugh and forget the whole thing grin grin grin
Christianity EtcRe: Do We Go To Hell If We Don’t Believe In Jesus? by vanitty: 7:11pm On Mar 26, 2009
Well if u believe there was a God, that you even went as far as calling a "Messiah" why is it so hard for you to believe that his son could perform miracles?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Lady Dies In The Desert Giving Birth by vanitty: 7:07pm On Mar 26, 2009
I know it is very bad to speak ill of the dead but
What a stupid woman. She knew the state she was in and she still decided to embark on the journey
May her soul rest in peace.
Christianity EtcRe: Do We Go To Hell If We Don’t Believe In Jesus? by vanitty: 7:04pm On Mar 26, 2009
Thor:
@Vanitty

That was not directed directly at you. I am sure that the book you mention has grounds, but then again I could tell you that 4000 years ago existed a boy called Tutankhamun, it is true, but he could not fly or turn water into wine.

I am pretty sure that a person called Jesus may have existed, that I am not disputing lipsrsealed

It is the rest of the nonsence that goes with the story lipsrsealed
oh alas! we getting somewhere so you do believe Jesus existed. If i may ask what don't you believe?
Christianity EtcRe: Do We Go To Hell If We Don’t Believe In Jesus? by vanitty: 6:54pm On Mar 26, 2009
@ Thor
Could you learn to converse without being insulting? I don’t see myself as less intelligent just because I happen to believe the existence of Jesus.
I really don't want to write any long essays. I do admit biblical evidence is the best source for information but I will give you a very good book to try and read if you are interested . . . .The evidence of Jesus by R.T France
Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by vanitty: 6:29pm On Mar 26, 2009
Lol keep avoiding the question
Must be really tough for you when you can't think for yourself.
Can you think of any reason why a gay person is abnormal?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by vanitty: 6:24pm On Mar 26, 2009
typical reply . . . didn't expect anything better
I asked you to back up your claims that gay people are abnormal, you said "sodomites"
Christianity EtcRe: Do We Go To Hell If We Don’t Believe In Jesus? by vanitty: 6:20pm On Mar 26, 2009
Thor:
@vanitty

Very good point, if someone does not believe in a pretend being then why should they believe in a pretend place  grin
Thor please can you back up your claims that hell is a pretend place. Are you really sure there is no hell?
Please none of that "half a brain" talk. Can you come up with tangible stuff that can back up your claims of no Jesus or hell?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by vanitty: 6:16pm On Mar 26, 2009
JustGood:
I'm yet to see anyone claim that its alright to fornicate here.

There is no problem with what anybody practices. . . why does anyone have to try and force people to accept abnormal people as normal people?
Why do we send mad people to Yaba left?
@ Justgood
How are gay people abnormal?
Mad people are sent to yaba because they are dangerous
How are gay people a menace to the society?
Christianity EtcRe: Do We Go To Hell If We Don’t Believe In Jesus? by vanitty: 6:12pm On Mar 26, 2009
What i find interesting is the level of commitment unbelievers put into trying to debunk the existence of Jesus
Each to his/her own
Back to topic
If you don't believe in Jesus then why will u believe in hell?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by vanitty: 5:52pm On Mar 26, 2009
Why shouldn't they be allowed to marry each other. It is a free world. If you don't like it you can jump off the bridge
The same people shouting abominaton, it is a sin! are the ones fornicating, committing adultery e.t.c
Read your bible very well, no sin pass another
Bloody hypocrites.
