Except if it has cryogenic properties I doubt the veracity of the above. Infrared and Thermal Optics work by picking up heat signatures. As long as you're well above 0° C you would generate heat ( engines, living animals).
Would like to know if they have a better explanation how it averts heat detection.

A MAJOR crack may have appeared over fresh moves by the north to clinch the presidential slot in 2015, as Arewa Youths have distanced themselves from the moves being spearheaded by the elders.

Last week, the Arewa leaders met in Kaduna to resolve all grievances and ensure that there was unity in the zone, which will ultimately pave way for a credible and consensus northern presidential candidate.

But the Arewa Youths Forum (AYF) said in a statement on Monday that instead of deliberating on how the north should produce a president in 2015, the leaders should tackle the current insecurity and insurgency ravaging the region.

President of AYF, Mallam Ibrahim Gambo Gujungu, said that, “while our leaders talk more, they are doing nothing tangible to curb the ugly monsters threatening the peaceful and once accommodating region.”
