APC supporters claimed that tradermoni was not vote buying. If that is the case, then shouldn't we expect to be seeing Osibanjo in markets every month? It's only logical! |
That toll gate revenue really surprised me. You would think that with over N1,000,000,000 made there ever month, that the small 10km section of road will have all the street lights working and have all the lanes marked to ensure the safety of drivers on that road. How can a free road like "Third mainland bridge" have street lighting and all lanes marked, whereas a road that is generating 1 billion each month is left to die? I just don't get it! |
successmatters:I truly believe tinubu has amassed the most ill-gotten wealth of any Politician in Nigeria. |
Lagos makes over 1 billion Naira from the toll gate every month, yet can’t provide street lighting and can’t place lane markings on the road. Over 1 billion/month, imagine!
|
While Asians and whites were trading, the black man was still in the jungle and didn’t even know what a WHEEL was, sigh |
Have you seen any pics of Osinbajo in markets this March giving out tradermoni ![]() |
Don’t vote for the same party that is holding Lagos hostage |
compare that to countries were the roads are free to drive on and they still mark the lanes Judiciously. How can you have lane discipline when you don't even have lanes in the first place? oh my Nigeria. Something so simple. That way the police can be trained to ticket people that don't drive in their lanes, earning more revenue for the police force to fuel their squad cars, buy weapons and so on. Not to even talk about safety and how lane markings can keep the rate of accidents down as compared to when there are no lane markings and cars just criss-cross haphazardly. We never see how small things can make a big difference in this country.
|
Then the lanes disappear again. Honestly with over 1 billion naira a month revenue on that road, things like lane markings that would probably cost just 10 million naira, should not be a big deal.
|
This is the road on some stretches like when you are approaching the toll gates. Why can't they make sure the entire stretch has lane markings like this?

Nigerians must not forget this Gandollar case. I can't believe APC endorsed him for another term, so that they can claim he still has immunity. Bro Gandollar, even if it's in 2030, this your case will be remembered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGCvXTISNns&t=86s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBMy1Ai5AdI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgJDLoVyEsw |
Remember when Fashola boasted that the blue line would be ready by June 2013? Check the thread out: https://www.nairaland.com/1156265/lagos-light-rail-ready-june/5#76453159 Even if it's to vote for Gbadamosi, who quite frankly, seems to be the best candidate, Lagos needs to change out APC. So project date has now been moved from 2013 to 2022 That's a whole 9 years of delay, for such a short rail distance and they aren't even highspeed trains. |
Remember this? |
Remember to vote wisely this weekend. See how most off the lanes on the roads have washed away
|
bluefilm:I have up to 3KW of solar power in my house bro, so as you can see, you're barking up the wrong tree ![]() |
Base1line:May God bless you and help you to choose the right candidate devoid of tribal leanings. |
Are Nigerians cursed? Cause come election you will still forget all your suffering and dance owambe to any politician with rice Spits |
No light here, Shame on Nigeria and it’s people for always electing useless leaders Nigeria is the shame of the black race |
Of course APC depends on hungry ignorant people that sell their children’s future for rice and stew to win elections. |
BuhariLooter:Nigeria can’t be great with a high illiterate population and there’s no way that circumvent that cold fact! We need to make education mandatory, arrest children hawking and begging during school hours and put them under government care. |
Without tribal sentiment, I think we can all agree that Gbadamosi won that Lagos debate. He seems a fine and refined gentleman with no known Godfather, just what is needed to give Lagos a break from Tinubus dynasty. |
aremuforlife:No need to get defensive dude, it’s just about being honest. These politicians want to use tribal war to stay in power, I hope you can see that! Someone brought up Abia, but remember how they same abians insulted Orji daily. We have to fight all these politicians |
It's very simple, I don't know why we like to complicate things. If you really want your own mostly homogenous country, then why not work towards it? We could still have Oduduwa, Arewa and Biafra as 3 beautiful nations in the future. So there is really no need for violence, just put pressure on reps and let's get a national conference going. |
Nigeria really uses poverty as a weapon. I wonder when next we will see Osinbajo at the local market giving out N10,000 tradermoni |
calmbabadee:why you say that bro? I drive past lekki-epe frequently enough. you are free to poke holes in my calculations, let's address them |
raumdeuter:Between Sanwo olu, Gbadamosi and Agbaje, who do you think is the best candidate? |
