spiralwedge:You guys have been debating back and forth and when he asks you a pertinent question, you say to he should go to google? wow! Answer his question dude |
why are they wielding weapons ![]()
|
theoldpretender:Even with higher bills, I doubt we would get there with the type of leadership that has plagued Nigeria, which is why I supported and will still support my ivy league graduate candidate, Sowore. Bro, you can't dismiss 3,000MW just like that na. That's a lot of power to be added at once, to a country that has always struggled to generate between 2,000MW-5,000MW. The best thing about the solar investment, would be there would be nothing like pipeline vandalization. The sun is free and it always shines here in Africa. By all means, they should increase tariffs, but they can't do that and still cheat the masses. For instance, in our house, we have been fighting for over 3 years to get Pre-paid meters, but there is always one excuse or the other, only for them to bring outrageous bills at the end of the month. Once, there was hardly power for a month and we still paid 10s of thousands that month. So how do we trust tariff increases? If a tariff increase comes with the mandate of providing pre-paid meters, I'm sure most Nigerians will comply. |
Why is this thread in the crime section though and not the politics section? |
theoldpretender:40m ![]() Bro, I already covered this. We spend 3 BILLION DOLLARS LOOKING FOR OIL IN THE NORTH 3 BILLION That money could have added 3,000MW worth of Solar Panels that would start generating electricity immediately. |
VenOmswiftTM:Thanks bro, we'll just have to hope for a better Nigeria someday. |
yomifowe:Sowore went to all these places and more. He held town hall meeting after town hall meeting after town hall meeting... He held more meetings that Buhari and Atiku, so I don't think taking it to the streets was the real issue. The real issue as you can see with a Buhari victory, is the parochial nature of the average Nigerian. |
emmy2807:He may not, but that's the power of lobbying. However, we first need to fix the way we conduct elections in this country like Barbarians, using sheets of paper that could be burned and snatched. People are already rocking cheap android phones with fingerprint scanners for like N30,000, election validations are already done with biometrics, so as you can see bro, there is no excuse for Nigeria to be conducting elections by dropping papers in boxes in highly volatile areas, when in just 10 milliseconds, you can have the same vote automatically go to a main server and totaled! When we sort out free and fair voting, I have no doubt that new breeds of politicians not in APC and PDP will get to positions of power needed to affect change. |
BluntBoy:Look I am a Sowore supporter, but as I have said many times, an Atiku is still better than a Buhari. How can you support a man that truncated our democracy Can I go and truncate democracy tomorrow now? If it was that we had decided not to prosecute Buhari for executing a coup, maybe via the statute of limitations, I would understand, but then you guys went ahead and elected him in 2015? That's like electing Hitler as a democratic president. Okay fine, even if one could forgive that unforgivable act of electing someone that truncated our democracy, maybe on the highly tenuous grounds that he would make a difference, how should one react to the fact that you again elected a coup plotter who has now failed two times as the Leader of Nigeria and is now on to his third attempt? That's why History should be taught in Nigeria. I remember when I was learning American History and we would ready the slavery passages. Our proffessor would always tell us that she knows it's hard for all of us to read it, but the whole point of this "is so that we learn from our mistakes". It was very uncomfortable sitting next to a white guy and reading about how slaves were whipped and whatnot and I'm sure it was for him as well, cause he was not responsible for his ancestors actions, but we all understood that by learning history, we can void making the same mistakes. If we taught history in Nigerian schools, it would be there in black and white in their History 101, that Buhari overthrew a democratically elected government and students from a young age would have known who and what Buhari is and not think that it is propaganda when his detractors speak. |
Slynation:Yeah I am sad, we missed a great opportunity to do away with those that have held us down, due to the myopia of the typical Nigerian. My Job now, besides my day job, is to try to educate as many more Nigerians as I can between now and 2023 to get them on the side of reason. Just imagine if Sowore or Moghalu had won? Just imagine the workflow, synapses firing all around as they churn out solution after solution, unfettered by the chains of God-Fatherism, they would have brought Nigeria out of the doldrums to stand head to head with other countries getting it right in Africa and the western world. It's unfortunate, an ivy league trained young president leading the most populous black nation would have benefited us all, but I guess asking for a good candidate to be president in Nigeria is too much to ask for. |
Nadheer15:First off, my candidate was Sowore and I am proud of my ivy league(r) till tomorrow, even though Nigerians shunned him and APC rigged. However, Atiku is still better than a Buhari. How can a Buhari ever be an option to anyone? F9 in Math, called ministers noisemakers, told women that they belong just in the other room... omo you Buhari Advocates are a special breed. |
Slynation:D tin no make sense men, remember even BBC was asking where Nigerias president is? |
Nadheer15:and what exactly is going on? Last 4 years, a dollar was about N200, not its N360!! If you tell me that we were headed for inevitable recession, then why did it take your buhari 6 months to select noisemaking ministers ![]() abeg, you are not wiser than fela who accurately termed your type, "suffering and smiling"!! |
Buhari spent over 100 days, months, in London seeking treatment. Just sit for a sec and think of how insane that sounds, yet he won chai naija my naija |
This guys is a real man though, I give him major props. |
You are great, you claim you are Arewa, Great Oduduwa, Biafra Yet only one of them wants to be by themselves Attache by real force, the force of the British |
Can we separate this country already? If you are so proud of North, why not be by yourself, I don't understand How can only one region be calling for secession? Shouldn't all regions be calling for secession? If you claim your region is so cool and all that, so innovative, then why not make the call for you to be your own country, were your language can be the national language instead of english. You don't see the U.S.A begging to be part of Mexico do you? |
TDonald:don't mind him, chai! |
Bizmagnet:You are one of those dull people that supported Buhari bah You know how I know you are dull, it's because you are being partisan and still advertising your business for websites, chai |
yrex01:Is that all you can come up with? Attacking a monicker A freaking monicker![]() Of course I don't expect quality or higher thinking from buhari supporters |
A president that promised to end medical tourism spent a whopping 100+ days in London receiving treatment and he still won ![]() It was so bad that NewYork Times or BBC was asking were Nigeria president was, imagine. No penalty for failure it seems as long as it's buhari wow! |
BravoDe:I'm already facing the reality, trying to think 10 steps ahead by Gods grace You can enjoy whatever happiness you think a Buhari victory brings to you. |
StarUp:so here you are, ecstatic that almajiris get to decide your childrens future why send your kids to school then, why not just leave them on the road |
Babalegba:Oh so Buharis time was tough abi? So why did he then take 6 months to elect ministers ![]() You say you are ailing, yet you don't take any medicine! Abeg swerve, all of you are soo used to suffering it sucks |
Shithole Country!! Nobody in this country wants good government at all, spits APC and PDP didn't even show up for freaking debate, yet Nigerians like zombies trooped out en mass to support them Honestly, Nigerias suffering can only get worse from here. Our currency is dead, we haven't fixed electricity or water... Black man is cursed, CUUUUURSED, spits |
My bet is N600 What do you think? Then, N60,000 will be $100 |
Babalegba:Even though I didn't support Jonathan, are you telling me that Jonathans time was worse than now ![]() You guys just comment out of pure hate. How much are you buying petrol now, how much are you trading dollar? How much are you buying foodstuff for your kitchen now compared to before? By 2023, when dollar is 600 and petrol is N500, you will still be shouting that Nigeria doesn't need an educated president. Something is really wrong with you lot, suffering and smiling zombies |
Only if most Nigerian ladies can stay this fit for life, but alas... Abeg more entrepreneurs need to open more gyms in Nigeria, more more more, let these ladies work out |
DEBJOCH1:We know he's not selfish, we saw the bullion vans outside his house |
Technology as we all know has come a long way, with more exciting breakthroughs still on the horizon. So why can't we employ that same technology here and do away with archaic paradigms ![]() Validation is already done using biometrics, so why can't that be used to cast the vote? why must the vote be casted on a sheet of paper that could be burned or destroyed especially in such a chaotic country as Nigeria? The results can then be collated automatically, with pin point precision. Each polling center can have the results stored locally and also transmit them to the central server for redundancy. In such a case, there is no ballot box to snatch and even if you snatch the local servers, you can't snatch the remote servers. This must be the last election conducted with ballot and ballot boxes INEC chairman is there waiting for results, when all he should be waiting for is confirmation of results already in their possession. |
helinues:That's why we need people in the presidency and senate that think along the lines of development and constitutional reform not these thugs killing voters and inec staff, just to win elections. Why can't the black man even use technology to conduct elections? At least that way, we'd know for sure if the people are really voting for slavery themselves. In 2023, Does anyone think this country will be better? How much do we think one dollar will be by then? maybe N500 and one bottle of coke will go for N250 due to inflation all because we have elected leaders that put themselves first. Look at them using thugs to kill people all because of an election. |
