PLEASE NOTE: I am not saying a god does not or cannot exist. As an agnostic, I'm more than open to the idea in the presence of sufficient proof.

However, the arguments often put forward, like the ones stated above, do nothing to support the existence of a god, as they could be used to justify other things in place of this "god"

I hope theists who use these sort of arguments can learn from them. I'll also be making reference to this thread whenever arguments like these are used in the future.

MaxInDHouse, Aemmyjah, TenQ, and other people I've forgotten to mention, please take note of these. Criticisms and opinions are of course always welcome.

The arguments put forth by Christians is based on as far as we can all see that is proven by our environment and nature.

To go beyond that is a trip beyond our real world and living which is even why this issue is important in the first place.

If it was just for the purpose of flexing your ability and power to think, (philosophy) then i can authoritatively say that many would not be interested.

But because this has to do with our good or bad living, therefore it must be confined to things which directly affect our living. And that is the Christians mind.

Genesis 2 is the details of the account of creation.

For instance, during the creation of man in chapter 1:26-28, these verses never explain the details about Adam's creation until you read Genesis 2 vs 7.

Likewise, more explanations are given about the creation of the woman, how and why she was created. So Genesis chapter 2 gives the details of the creation and expounds on it.

On a simple term, Genesis chapter 2 explains the account of creation that begins in chapter one in details.......

One can see examples of these different sources when comparing similar biblical stories..

Only people with dark and evil minds read a report or story looking for holes and whether they join or e no join.

As shown in family and romance section, when people are reporting what they witnessed, they do not care whether it is perfect and flawless. All they just want to do is to tell us what they have seen and experienced.

Its as simple as that.

Quite frankly I think it is more than the indoctrination. More of the fear of the unknown. There is really no proof of the existence of gods nor is there really any proof for their non existence. Most people probably just want to be on the safe side incase hell is real!

I was blown when i saw these verses for i have always been wondering why these type of people were like that and o i have been fighting this people all my life and i hate them with my whole soul and that is everyone of us has called them devils whenever they do their evil work.

Christ called Peter a devil because He Saw and that it was the-evil who was speaking through Peter at that instant, which we all understood.

Thus, my Precious, i have been studying and fighting these evil people for a very very long time that i know how they think, talk, look and smell.

They have a very distinct mark that God put on them (as the bible said) and everyone knows it which is why people suddenly shout too late after seeing their works, saying "you be devil o or you be demon,. And in the good old days Bendel people used to say "you dey smell like demon, comot for here" (A very attuned people). Regular people are not paying attention when they do these things and they erronously shrug it off like it is a small matter. And that is why the world is full of evil and even they too have been overcome by evil.

So, i am here trying to keep the fight going that a simple person somewhere may have a chance at fighting evil and the first fight is the identification of evil and its officials and agents who atheists are and these muslims.
