Paragon311:Absolutely right! But the positive thing is that we will be better for it a 100 years from now - both abroad and at home. We would not only have the knowledge and experience to make home better but also dominate their society - India’s experience is replete here. |
pquaver:Not sure your analogy is correct. They have to deliver on projects in Lagos because the state has more informed voters. You won’t get a re-election if you don’t. I just think Lagos need fresh ideas. |
They dragged all the Projects and made sure they complete just in time before the next election to sway voter sentiments. It would be refreshing to see a new party rule over Lagos but we would never find out would we? With Tinubu and his boys’ playbook. |
These manifestos are not measurable. Looks blank as with previous presidential campaigns. |
Classic channel to place laundered money into the financial system. They can’t take the laundered money to bank so they create donations to integrate the funds and can legitimately withdraw at bank as proceeds of Charity. True criminals! |
Jokes i guess |
Nova1988:The British? I do not know how true that is - but even if it were so - I think it’s fairly common knowledge that the British favoured, and indeed left, a largely northern government because they are predominantly uneducated and easier to manipulate…. And see where that got us! |
BobbieZion:But your logic is still flawed. Vast majority of Christians in different parts of the country don’t read and write in English. And English is certainly not a language exclusive to Christians. There is absolutely no justification for those Arabic inscriptions on the naira notes other a Northern/islamisation agenda. |
It’s really appalling seeing Arabic on the Naira currency - so boldened in the new notes. Is Arabic even an official language in Nigeria? Very very annoying seeing those inscriptions and I really hope we can rid ourselves of Religious zealots soon enough. |

A man is entitled to have desires .What’s a man without one? Funny enough - many young men passively set these sort of rules in their mind. In the end - we all get what life throws at us! |
Super true… I have met quite a number of Zimbabwean nurses. |
caylakays:Quite strange. Awesome talent and good musician but MON why? |
I don’t think all these fees are compulsory. For example - general accommodation is already included in the Bar Part II fees (N300,000). Most of the other fees here would have to be adds on - I.e if you want a single room to yourself or live in a serviced apartment inside the school etc. We never had to pay for security and medicals. |
Never to micro-manage a lady by having her social media accounts or spying on all her conversations with other men. I think people should have their freedom and personal space and spying on your partner is unhealthy for your personal mental health. If you think she is cheating, chances are that she is - leave and move on and avoid unnecessary heartbreaks. There are so many amazing folks out there. |
Never had a childhood ambition - only that which God revealed through his prophets. And that I am doing now. Legal Practitioner (and I practice Banking and Finance Law). I could never ask for a better profession than that which God had directed! There’s so much benefits in following after God’s leading. |
Elephant Project |
Insecurity at the Country’s seat of power. This shows that the terrorists are not scared… Where do they purchase these weapons from? Where do they get FX for purchasing the weapons? There must be powers within the government helping these folks. I really don’t think the 2023 candidates can do any magic - unless this country splits. |
beey2:Language is diverse… and one and two words can mean the same thing. Girl Child is as you have described - and a Google search could help you understand it is generally used to refer to a girl, e.g. by the UN - “The International Day of the Girl Child” |
A Girl child is Underrated. They can be amazing - far above their male counterparts. Congratulations to the team. |
1stGenAmerican:Read my comments and read yours again - peace. |
1stGenAmerican:I will teach you a bit of of the law. Your blanket statement is wrong! There are underlying questions to be decided by the Courts - I.e What’s the purpose of the filming? You should understand that Private PERSONS have a right to their privacy and this trumps your right to filming - except in few public interest cases such as crime reporting, public officials etc. As such, If you deliberately go film someone else - just as in this case - you are defo liable. At the very least - the person has not consented to you filming him - and secondly - you have done that with malice aforethought, more so, after he continues to refuse to grant consent. People filming general things publicly is fine - but you cannot deliberately target people with your filming without their consent! |
aribisala0:That’s not true. I have a right not to be filmed (distance or otherwise)… even more so in Europe with the GDPR or the US. |
Myhusband:That’s not true. You can do a simple Google search. What is probably 10th for them is World Cup qualification. |
Myhusband:Should it not be 12th trophy? I think they won it 11 times already! |
godofuck231:Everything and everyone won’t have a hard life bro… try to celebrate others’ achievements without belittling their efforts. Cambridge University is top 4 University globally - so she doesn’t have to be able to make a first in a Nigerian University. |
PrimadonnaO:No they are not. But they are the most likely to be elected. |
Recycling the same old. I am scared for the future of our dear Country. 10 years ago, it would have been unimaginable to think that Exchange rate would be 600 Naira to 1 dollar But here we re today. Atiku and Tinubu are part of the same system that brought the country into disrepute. And of course we all know the solution to this mess. Separation/Restructuring/Self-determination of each region. It’s unfortunate that neither Tinubu nor Atiku can bring this to reality. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Totally agree. The middle class are fast becoming lower class because of inflation. |
okaroangel:One of the best decisions anyone can make - controlling your income! Add home delivery and set up outlets close to Universities where you have plenty Africans working and studying - AnD Boom! Eat out is such a big business - people are too busy with Work, School and Family - and can’t cook! |
InternetWebM082:Yes - and UK line works in Nigeria too. I have my MTN sim on my other phone. Works with roaming - can make and receive calls on it - typically I pay for receiving calls on it. From comments above, in this instance I think your caller is a fraud. |
