Haba, JeSoul. I'd defend myself but that'll be like struggling in quicksand. Ringing in my head. Hmmm. You're right. Playing in my head is better. I have enough narcotic tunes for one week. Danke |
Hmmm. Kobikwelu, a few years ago we'd have been like soulmates (and no, I don't swing that way) for your puritanism. Now I'm washed up and afraid even less fun. Perhaps we got off the wrong foot. I just noticed some stuff. |
Ah. Is it possible for any reality to dwarf another? It might be distinctly different but certainly not realler. There's only real and unreal and nothing in between. This is all besides the point anyway. It might be preemptive of me to not to bother to check your link and I'm truly sorry for that but any experience from the beyond meets me with my skepticism on full gauge. I'm like Houdini in the sense that I search for the extraordinary but I don't know when I'll accept something as truly extraordinary. Maybe until it makes a specimen of me. Literally hit me in the face. God permit me this one royal flush. Amen. |
Lol. Nuke cracks me up as usual. I dunno who's the more neutron absorbing between Joagbaje and Deep Sight. I don't know the history of Nuclearboy's dissatisfaction with Joagbaje's God/god complex but with the tiny bit I've seen here, I'll have to disagree with Nuke. Joagbaje can only be accused of over-zealousness and making a big deal outta nothing. This thread is a witch hunt. |
Sigh. The world has really gone to hell. I've contemplated that this life is really hell and we all were in heaven prior. The well off are simply the best of the worst. Sigh. Obama, who must have his detractors, is by far the best President the U.S. has produced in my lifetime. He realises that his personality is secondary and almost infinitesimal to the office he holds. Why can't people see the same simple thing. Haters |
Lol. You'll forgive my testosterabid brain for I'd die of jolosy first before I swoon in admiration. I'm talking about those '16' packs. Stupid buncha Spartans making the rest of us feel like Rob Schneider. ^That was on a light note. 300 is great but I'm not as affected with visuals even though I betray my gender because of it. Syrianna on the other hand. . . . . . I couldn't, for a long while, determine if the lead was a George Clooney - Robin Williams hybrid or something else altogether. I have nothing else to say about the film. . . . . . what does it profit you baby. . . . . . It rings in my head all day, Jay |
I'm reading a book, the title of which, I cannot mention here. Fancy that. |
@Kobikwelu. Elitist is right. Yeah, let's. You're a minority anyways. @Obinna, make una leave those people alone jo. Their ineptitude doesn't make me feel better about ours. |
kobikwelu:Aha. Why should I take your "IMHO" seriously when you seem not to take anybody else's as serious? Because I agree with all your movies being 90percent and over (which I do)? Well, except maybe Syrianna, 300 and We Were Soldiers. Point is to each his own. That's why the ratings of the house is not a weighted average. Capisci? |
strictly mene? In kuna so privacy, sai ka yi exchanging lumber waya ku ko email. Wan nan public forum ne. Ni, zan saa katon baki na. Ku yi hakuri. Hausa na, bai yi da kyau. |
It was very good jare. I'm hesitant to call it complicated cuz EVERYTHING was accounted for in the end. Not complex. Surprising, maybe. |
Lol. None of us here is a real critic since we don't get paid and no one cares about our ratings but us. I'm curious to know which films, if there exists such films, that you'd give an above 90percent rating sir. |
. . . . . and this one's got cataracts |
Why are y'all sounding apologetic? Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder abeg. |
Aha! Someone who will elaborate. Great critique |
The alpha lunatic |
I do not know who you are and that affords me the opportunity to be blunt. I read the chapter. Depending on how old you are, this could be anything from impressive to naive. It's mostly superfluous but sometimes, it gets really creepy; like your orchestra with dust. A few grammatical errors and banal non-errors. Etc. Those are the cons. The pros are: you can improve and you're patient. No offence meant with my ramblings. I can't write worth crap but I think I have good taste, yes. |
Broken record |
You don chop Jamaican sushi abi? |
provided they make it to the oven at all |
I've read a few African authors. Most of them make it all about Africa some apologetically and some defiantly (both annoying) and since I'm African I get a little tired. There are some awesome ones too but they manage to sound like foreigners writing about their roots. It's all freaky. @Netotse. Kane and Abel started getting annoying when Abel started opening Barons all over the world like they were flower shops. |
Are you by any chance in'sino'ating that I am without my marbles? If what you're saying is what I think you're saying, it better not be. Lol. What's your friend's name? |
JK, com sa? Ike what? Ogini biko? You better find film for us to rate or your thread will become X-rated. |
The pastors means well. Probably too straight an arrow for his own good but I definitely salute his courage and compassion. Less can be said for his counterparts here in Nigeria. Labelling Christ as HIV positive is too complicated for less sophisticated believers and he should have said something less outrageous like Jesus dined with AIDS patients. On an aside, HIV/AIDS aren't always resultant from sexual misdemeanor. People say it again and again but other people do not hear it. Again and again. |
Inasmuch as my brain is currently filled with words that are variants of 'so what'. I'll just say this: Congratulations to your friend and maybe you. Everyone will find that which they seek earnestly I guess. Hope I'll not be an exception. |
Lol. No kill person abeg. Some people feel good about themselves when they go against 'authority'. It's a small man complex. |
Seems there's a whole lotta stuff people would kill for. I wouldn't mess with your sis, JeSoul. Not if I'm not ready to push daisies. JK Simmons. My halo is connected to me via strong chakra. It's no use parting from it. But in JeSoul, you might have found a taker. Serena's shock absorber can absorb a bullet, no problem. Are we reviewing hindquarters now? I rate Biel. . . . . . . . . . . |
It's possible. As long as both parties actually make up and not one desperado willing to persistently not get the 'I don't want you anymore' messages or 'I know you're here as long as you remind me' vibes. In short, with true love anything is possible, plausible too. |
I'd argue with you but my halo glow is almost out and I still wanna find The One |
We oughtn't question God once we're sure He's the one actually talking to us. For you that have absolute faith in the bible, there may be no problems but the same doesn't go for me unfortunately. It's moot really. Your views are unprovable and they can't be disproved. I just wonder. Jesus was here a mere 30 odd years. Why does that make him a hall of famer manifestation? See what I mean with the more I try, the less I understand? In any case, I do not want to derail this thread. I'd never really wanted to be God by the way. Superman,Beowulf and the rest, sure. But I guess that's the same thing, right. We all wanna be something more |
Awww. I agree |
Guru JeSoul. The Movie Club don't really wanna know. You on the other hand . . . . . . . . . . .Nice take on the questions too. It's easy to be dispassionate as an onlooker. I'd probably kill for someone I love. I'll remember to pick your brain later though. Oh, Jessica Biel is beautiful. If you mayest not find me a bit uncouth, I have bonafide uncouth friends who think she has a J-Lo (or is it jello?) bottom. Apparently, this is a good thing. |
