All i can say is that ARSENE KNOWS. When all our players come back from injury, then you will see real depth.

I hope Clichy will be okay.

Hannibal seems to know something about everything. Even better than the Professionals. I can't but wonder whether he is a Genius or just being Sarcastic. I think it is more of the Later  than the Former.

Manchester United to beat chelsea 2-1 at least to crush that 84 matches unbeaten run of chelsea at home.

How can you get girls on Nairaland? I think most of the girls here are either married or overdue for marriage or are virgins(which explains all those virgin threads). Register on facebook if you are really desperate for females.

What a Joker. Girls on Nairaland. grin cheesy cheesy cheesy

If i was in your shoes, i will go all out for her friend or sister or female cousin or anybody that she knows just to make an impression of:"see what you are missing". Then you have to keep calling her, take her to cinema and act like nothing ever happened. Take the pressure off. If she shuns you more, play the guilt card. ASk her whether it because of what happened? Tell her the past is the past and you want to make it up to her , that kind of stuff .She will expect you to sulk and stay away from her but i will do the opposite. But you  have to be up for it if not just move on with your life after all the downfall of a man is not the end of his life.

By the way there are many fishes in the sea, i dont see why you should post a topic on just one.

I know United will bounce back. They always do and Ronaldo is now back. And for those who were saying Rooney is more important to Man Utd. than Ronaldo, I hope you take back that statement.

But just Admit Wayne Rooney is only been spared by the press cos he is English. Strikers that dont score goals are just plain useless. Forger about workrate and prescence. That is why i prefer Ruud Van Nisterooy-He gets the Job done. Wayne Rooney needs to step up his game and start scroing goals. When you buy a player for £25million and he has never scored 20 league goals then there is cause for worry. But English press will spare the English man.

I have seen this kind of situation before where the girl was actually a bet between two friends.

Personally, i think you gave in too easy. How can you just agree for a guy "a few days later".

Who Knows when Rosicky is going to get well? At this rate, Eduardo may be back to fitness before Rosicky. What kind of injury is that since January? huh huh huh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by vicade(m): 8:22pm On Sep 13, 2008
we were without the likes of Rosicky,Birschoff,Nasri,Silvestre,Diaby,Eduardo,Bendtner and Vela who were all left out due to injuries and level of fitness  and we still came through to win 4-0 at EWOOD park after all you can only play the best 11 players at the same time. Adebayor and Van persie are cool together and chemsitry between gallas and toure is getting better. I am still not convinced about Denilson-he seems to be the weakest link for now.  And i think when(or IF) all these players become fit, wenger will have a real selection headache.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 2:46pm On Sep 13, 2008
So, what is the excuse now; who did not play today ? I told you guys united is rubbish without ronaldo and rooney playing on the right wing? Reminds me how Sir Alex converted alan smith to a defensive midfielder. Any ways, i know united will come out tops at the end of the season but you are nothing and i mean absolutely nothing without ronaldo.

Ronchester United  tongue tongue tongue

And it gets even better your next match is Chelsea At Stafford Bridge. With vidic suspended, i will like to see john o shea at centre back or maybe wes brown with gary neville at right back. Joker grin grin grin

Just kidding with u all, After all the Premiership is a Marathon, Not  a Sprint.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 3:40pm On Sep 11, 2008
Rooney just needs to score more goals to improve his goal/game ratio and he will be in the TOP 5 best strikers in Europe. In ten years time nobody will remember how hardworking he was and all that, people will point to the records and 6 goals in four years for the National team by wayne rooney is way below par and considering the fact that wayne rooney has never ever scored 20 premier league goals in any season tells the whole story

Man u have exceptional depth except in the left and right back positions. But what does it matter if they score you and you score more than them, job done. tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by vicade(m): 3:35pm On Sep 11, 2008
Theo Walcott has always had the ability to do anything he wants to do. His only problem is CONSISTENCY. we know he is class but how often can he replicate such performances? His Hat Trick was cool and so was that his run across the pitch in the macth against Liverpool in the champions League. But if there is any coach in England that can nuture Talents , iit is Arsene Wenger.

Great Game by Rooney too. Rooney just needs to score more goals to improve his goal/game ratio and he will be in the TOP 5 best strikers in Europe. In ten years time nobody will remember how hardworking he was and all that, people will point to the records and 6 goals in four years for the National team by wayne rooney is way below par.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 9:35am On Sep 08, 2008
Rooney is only in that National Team cos he plays for manchester United. Come on People, Rooney has only scored 5 times in four years for the England National Team.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/7603135.stm

We all know Rooney has the ability and is very talented and all that but when you where the Number 9 you have to score a lot of goals and players like Cantona and Bergkamp who did not score as much goals as say Alan Shearer in the league stood out because they were classy and brilliant players. Sometimes, rooney plays lke a defensive midfiedler(too much gra ra). I think he should go and watch tapes of players like Cantona, Bergkamp and Gianfranco Zola(Too bad none of them were english), but those were class players even though Alan shearer had a better goal scoring record.

Rooney is capable but i think he keeps getting selected based on his repuation and his club than consistency and delivery of goals.

rasputinn:
Na wa for this Suleman Al-Fahim guy(Man City's new owner)
Even after snapping up Robinho,he's reported to have said he's only waiting for the transfer windows to re-open by January so he can make a move for Christiano Ronaldo,Ruud Van Nistlerooy,Fab4 shocked shocked and Fernando Torres

Oh,how I wish, ,but then, wishes have never been horses.
That Al- Fahim guy need to slow down seriously. Anybody but FAB4.

Word on the web is that stephen Appiah is a free agent and a number of premiership clubs including Westham, portsmouth and Arsenal are looking at him. Is he worth the risk of signing him or are we better off waiting till january or is he not good enough for our squad?Afterall, he cannot be any worse than eboue.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by vicade(m): 10:44am On Sep 02, 2008
I am not dissapointed because wenger did not buy any player. I am dissapointed because he said he was going to buy a player and did not keep to his words. The press said he made a last ditch attempt to buyl Alonso but liverpool were not interested maybe because of Gerrads injury and differences in valuation as alonso is cup tied in champions league .

I am more relaxed now cool. I just hope we have an injury free season and a lot of good luck and we will be champions again.

Gunner till i kick the bucket. wink

COME ON GUNNERS!!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by vicade(m): 10:32am On Sep 02, 2008
A Wengerism: A Wengerism is a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement, especially with the intention to deceive others.

Wenger’s been lying  to us,burning midnight oil, my arse. Why did he even get our hopes up?

He said he would keep the squad together - Fail
He said he would have his checkbook at the Euro’s -Fail
He said he would bring in a DM before the Twente game - Fail
He said he would be actively looking for 1 or 2 players today(deadline day) - Fail

I am utterly disgusted to say the least. we are even weaker than last season in terms of players that left and players that came in. I hope fabregas understands because when you loose gilberto, flamini and hleb and you bring in only ramsey and nasri then there is a problem. Silvestre effectively replaces senderros and traore so we are weaker even though silvestre and nasri are great signings.

Anyways, Arsene Knows. Arsene knows he has to win the premier league this season or else there is trouble with the fans not carling cup or FA cup, the EPL. I still have faith in wenger but he lied to the fans which is why i am dissapointed. sad

Hannibal:
Ibime should suffer a heart attack for this news.
I am loving Man City, it's about time those Chavs feel short-changed.

Did u see Berbatov shaking hands with Fergie n David Gill at OT?
Look at his black short-sleeve shirt n his long nose. . . . Dimitar looked so happy.
I heard SAF went to pick him up at the airport himself.
yeah. i saw berbatov shaking hands with sir alex on SSN. It seems frazier campbell might be involved in a swap deal with spurs.

I guess man city are beating chelsea in their game at trying to sign robinho
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 10:04pm On Sep 01, 2008

Hannibal:
Owen was a premiership striker when he joined Liverpool.
What has he really achieved?
Ruud was a stranger in the PREM when he clinched UEFA golden boot on his debut season and finished 2nd in the EPL's scorer's charts.
All those talks about Premiership experience is hogwash. . . .Huntelaar would score goals at Man Utd.
The set-up already in place is perfect for him. cool
Diego forlan ?
Kanoute?
Postiga?
Kezman?
Shevchenko?

some guys don't just cut it in the premiership for some bizzare reasons. Not every signing can be a torres or a RVN. Think how long it took drogba and benjani to adapt. ADAPTATION to the premier league as soon as possible for a striker is important.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 5:47pm On Sep 01, 2008
Hannibal:
I would be amazed if he goes to Man City!!!
The prospect of playing with world class players like Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez and Scholes is too appealing.
My point is why spend so much on Berba-SULK when £20 million is enough to get Huntelaar out of Ajax.
I still don't know why Fergie thinks Dimitar is United's solution.
exactly my sentiments

But berbatov is a proven premiership striker anyways.

Hannibal:
Real Madrid have taken their hands off so it's between Man City and Man Utd.
Which would Berba choose?? European Champions or perennial losers??
It's no brainer. cheesy grin
he might follow the money you know tongue. Abu Dhabi can offer £200,000 per week. The Glazers are yet to repay the loan they used to buy manchester united.

But i vouch that he will sign for united. The drama is just so nice grin

still waiting on wenger though undecided
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 5:36pm On Sep 01, 2008
Daniel Levy, chairman  of spurs has not given manchester united permission to talk to berbatov which means they have not yet accepted a bid from manchester united according to sky sports news presenters.

Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim is what he is called.
I heard he is TEN TIMES richer than Roman Abrahamovic.
Michel Platini and Sepp Blatter will be very PISSED. cheesy grin
and he does not need to borrow money like the glazers  tongue

The premier league is just like football manager now. Money Money Money.

@ tkb417,

It seems the new money is now in Man City.
The new owner is bidding for Berbatov, David Villa and Mario Gomez.
Where are all these funds coming from??
Abu Dhabi cheesy
