Anywhere to watch online?

Hello all, please what's the best way to get admission into nursing. 3 rejections two months back for September intake, now looking for a January 2021 application.

Let me share a similar experience.

It happened that for some reason for abt 3-Sundays I consistently contributed to donation being raised in church for a project. Along the line, a new babe in church had been giving me green light but I've been acting indifferent.
.
Then through youth meeting, one Sunday, I decided to break the ice and gave her little attention.
Afterwards she started being nice, call and all...and when I returned her call she flatters me and talk sweetly...she also tried to push the conversation to romance side...I was aware and picking my words.
.
Then one sunday evening, during that familiarizing, I called her to come see me at a bar..she said ok...then she stood me up and gave flimsy excuse not to come after first saying she was coming.......
To me, that was a red flag. I snubbed her for days...and this time she dint call too. Then like over a week, I went on a date with another babe, at a bar close to her schl....I've even forgotten abt her, then her call came in.

...i picked it. She exchanged pleasantries, I was casual and she asked where I was, I told her when did she start asking where I was? She toned down a bit and we ended the call..

After my date left the bar, and because It was close to her hostel, I decided to call her to say I want to stop by at her place, that I'm closeby.. she welcomed it.

It was my first time visiting. My intention was to address her previous bad behavior and whine her..

We seated in a classroom...there were couple of other people....so our gist became fun and interesting after the whole initial accusations and redress.
She was quite interesting and bold. She started getting sexual verbally, romantic and displayin public affection, and toiling with me...it was cold that day sha....u will tink we were lovers,...I played along..we even pecked.
To cut the story short...just before I left, she started demanding I give her money before I leave...I laughed it off and handled it with humor.. but she started getting serious abt it...that I shd treat like a sister now.

I was getting embarrassed cos I have a rule of not accedding to a woman's financial demand at the beginning of a parole. I told her to calm down that I dint plan to come see her that it was her call that made me come...I Sha intentionally gave her N200 with shame lol..out of 1200 remaining from my earlier date.....she told me to call her when I get home...I dint but I messaged her..she dint reply.
Following morning she replied..and after greetings she asked me money that she's broke,, that this that that...
Maybe I should have sent her sth, maybe she was truly broke,...cos I felt guilt. But I told her I will send but not now..

The conclusion is that..she stopped calling or chatting since then...I dint call too..I messaged her On Sunday to come to church.she didn't come nor reply....I've also snubbed her til now

I'm not so bothered..I'm not sure if I handled it well or not...it's somehow Sha...I'm like so the whole love don end cos she ask me money and I din't send cos I felt it's too early to start on a billing note... u guys can add ur comment.

She knew you were a cheerful giver in church. Identified you. Isolated you to a meet up...gave you a bit of incentive by romancing you publicly to get you to give her money.

She does not want to date. She wants your money without you getting into her panties or wanting to date you.

My advise...stop calling or texting to avoid premium tears.

There are some words that some women use to label men and most times they don't even understand it.

Words like....Narcism....man'splaning....etc

A good example is the one in the attached.

I have fulfilled all the requirements on the conditional offer sent to me, yet Wolverhampton never give me unconditional offer. I'm running out of time.

This is for one of my ward actually. But yes, she was given a £1,000 discount. They did not give the discount until i had paid deposit and she did pre-cas interview.


From experience, the discount wont be applied until your CAS letter is issued. But make sure you chase them for it.

If they are yet to give you an offer, contact international admission via email, call them, contact their Nigerian country rep. You need to send MULTIPLE emails and calls.

I just noticed a typo in the name of the secondary school on the qualification section of CAS letter as bolded below:

"NQF Level 06 Qualification Name Senior School Certificate Awarding Body Obukun High School (NECO). NQF Level 02 English Language = C5. We've used this in conjunction with an interview to confirm their language level is still at a high enough standard."

The correct spelling should be "Obokun".


Considering this is only a typo of one single letter- Would it matter when applying?

I have just recieved CAS from the University of Wolverhampton and they've stated the following:


Course Fees for first year of course £ 12950.00
Course Fees paid so far £ 7000.00
Accomodation fees paid to date £ 0.00

Am I still ok to enter the school address as an accommodation address when filling out the visa application form even though I might be getting private accommodation when I arrive for my course?

When the govt (whether naija or usa or any other) really wants to catch someone Ehn...they will use the entire machinations at their disposal to do it.

Anyway...with benefit of hindsight...he should have only speak with his lawyers alone to help. When you call from jail
..your calls are recorded even if you speak Yoruba or ègún....there are translators to decode what's being said. Yorùbá...igbó and Hausa speaking staff works with fbi ó. Don't try them at all.

Whatever you do, don't ditch school.

Get a degree while learning a high value skill.

That degree which people call a "mere piece of paper" will open doors for you...

Personal experience:

My degree in a biological science course made it possible for me to work in a totally different field with my BSc.

Also, moving abroad as a career person (skilled labour) or through the study route means one can have several options/ways of migrating... instead of just hustling for tourist visa...

Don't ditch school. You can postpone it though for 1-2 yrs if you want to hustle and make money.

If you are hard working and learn an online business you can make 1-2k dollars monthly to start with.

If you save up enough from your hustle...you can apply for a degree in the UK Via distance learning and get a bsc in 3yrs without even leaving the shores of Nigeria.

E.g. University of derby offers a bsc via distance learning at £5k per year.

But you've got to be extremely hardworking like a horse with 100x horse power to make it.

You are right. I also don't think Microsoft will have geolocated server in Nigeria so it will be wrong to host Nigerian citizen data outside of Nigeria.

But irrespective - ₦25 billion is too much to host 70 servers. Are the servers gold plated?

Most server infrastructure have a 10-12yr shelf life before they go out of support. With 1- 2 billion naira you will build the right data centre infrastructure with adequate database....compute...storage licences and security even with small change left over

They will offer 1k scholarship during issuance of cas. This is after paying deposit and also passing your precas interview.

That's what I was told when I asked them about it.

Yes she did. She did Pre-CAS interview before being given an admission letter. After she was given an admission letter, she was asked to pay the deposit (3,000 pounds). She paid. Once payment was confirmed, they then initiated CAS letter process which includes uploading TB test result and POF statement.

It is not a must the closing balance equals the opening balance in as much the total money do not go lower than what is required.

My opening balance is 10.9m and closing balance is 9.6m. My required POF is actually 9m so this should be sufficient isn't it.

Please before you got your CAS were you required to provide your tuberculosis result, proof of funds and deposit ? Or please what were you required to provide?

Yes. I'm helping a family member with application With wlv.ac.uk and yes you require TB cert. Proof of funds and deposit for cas to be issued.

Make sure your opening balance is the same with your closing balance. So you should use 25th May to 23rd of June to be on a safe side.

Just want to check that my calculation are correct.

My POF was deposited on the 24th of May 2021 and on my online statement I can see closing balance of that day at the exact amount I want for POF.

With 28 days count, that means that my POF bank statement should show the deposit between 24th May 2021 till 21st June 2021.

If I print my statement today 22nd of June with the above, would that be sufficient for my student visa application?

I need someone to please have a second look and confirm that I am right, please.

Lol. Most agents now put all these crazy checks in place to avoid time wasters and potential defaulted.

If you earn enough salary...just let them know how much you earn.

Go ahead and apply and explain in her application that her mother is late but that you could not get the death certificate as she died in the village and not at the hospital.

Just wise...do you reckon he should get a letter from the family to prove this?

How does the dad go about processing her documents as part of the dependents going with his legally married wife to study in the UK?

Please note she bears the father's name also.

Is your name on the child birth cert as the father?

Do you have a copy of the death cert of the mother?

If the child is yours...and you have proof of it...this is no problem at all.

In the UK it's common to have children from other partners

Thank you. Yet to do the test. I will make sure it's changed on the test Date.

Please what can be done in the case that the date of birth on IOM TB test was entered incorrectly.

E.g. I entered date of birth as 7th of July instead of 8th of July.

I have tried calling IOM but numbers not going through.

Hello, I can feel your pain. Sometimes....the body goes through issues that doctors cannot fathom or see right away.

Here's what I will advise:

1. Go back to your GP and complain about panic attacks. The issue is....they might put you on medication which may have it's side effects.

2. Start doing meditatdion aily to help with the panic attacks. It's simple. Lie down on your bed....for fifteen minutes.....with your eyes closed.....deep breath in and out until your concentration is on your breathing.

Do this 15 mins consistently for 1 month and you will see your panic attack disappear.


Of course...do this alongside with healthy eating drinking and exercises as advised already.

Hint: don't ignore my number 2!

This is good actually as you are project managing in construction, so I believe it's a good course.

Saw a post where someone was advising on buying European flight ticket. The last time I checked, the flight rules has changed due to Brexit. So Nigerians need to get a transit visa if flying through any European country to the Uk. Maybe the rules have changed today sha. It depends on the course you are looking to do. That's where to start.

What postgraduate course are you interested in?

Are you looking to continue "education" or you are switching into Information Technology?

Only when you have this answer that you can then start searching for schools that run the course you are interested in.
