My pleasure..
You'll enjoy it more if you can speak the main Esan language, it's subtitled in English anyway.
Enjoy..

You're very correct on the meaning of Esan. That's where the stereotype comes from. What's the name of the movie please? You seem very smart. Definitely would be nice to meet you
ESAN, it's on YouTube

lol yeah we benins say that lol. But I have many Esam friends so it's an old mindset. Individuality is what matters
Yeah.. I even watched a movie on why they don't agree back then, it's both touching and annoying..
I was also made to understand the word "Esan" is from "Esanfia" meaning they ran away.

looked through your profile and it seems you're from Benin. If so, it would be nice to connect sometime in ikorodu
I'm Esan so it won't be nice to connect. You see en, while I was schooling in Benin, I hear Benin people say things like, if they see someone from Esan Land and then a snake, they'll kill the Esan person first before even looking at the snake angry

I will be staying in Ikorodu for a few months. Baiyeku to be precise. A bit inside after Justrite. Please, I need some suggestions of fun places to visit within ikorodu. Places that are child-friendly, not clubs or ashawo joints. Every suggestion is well appreciated. Thanks guys.
Hello...
Did you later find a suitable place to visit?

The worst thing that can happen to anyone is being broke with an inflated self-ego. Life will pass you in a twinkle of an eye and you will be wondering what went wrong. Please guys, you are only the prize if you can provide. Don't listen to this dullard.

Unfortunately nobody said you're curvy. Nigeria girls and low self esteem. You think your fragile will boost if you don't tell lies? Has anyone given you award for the imaginary curvy Yansh? Dey whine yourself with lies

Madam if e sure for you, bless us with your so called curvy Yansh let's see
Lol.. Yes I was given award back in school tongue I have no intent to make any friend through this moniker so what's the point in telling lies.
Na you sabi jare.. You can as well believe me ever visiting SA is a lie. I owe you no explanation after all..

Enjoy your day

I'm an SA lady, but I didn't know until I joined nairaland..😂😂😂
They tell me I'm curvy here in naija until I visited SA, I realized my curve is just moderate and theirs is excess.

Q10
Samantha124:
I'm gonna speak from an African woman's perspective, especially a South African woman.

There's this stereotype that an African woman is expected to have a curvy figure like a figure 8... For example, as a South African woman, I didn't know that South Africa is considered to have a high number of curvy women until I joined nairaland because it had never came to my attention one bit.

At first I didn't take the comments seriously here on nairaland, until I came across two videos of Nigerian women based here in SA talking of how SA women are gifted with curves and big behinds... I never paid attention to any of those things, maybe because I'm also an SA woman.

So I decided that I was gonna do my own findings, this other time I was at a mall and I decided that I was gonna check my SA ladies out and I was shocked by what I saw, it was like 85% of them were bootylicious... grin grin grin... But I was like noo, I can't make any conclusions yet because I'm in Durban and maybe it's possible that it's only the Zulu girls who have the booty, so I waited until I go home to Polokwane to check my Sepedi girls out... grin grin grin

Of course I finally did traveled back home and this one time I was at a shopping center with my nephew, we had ordered for some pies and while we were still waiting for our orders, I decided that I'm gonna check out my Sepedi ladies out to confirm what some male nairalanders have been saying... grin grin grin.. I was shocked the second time.. grin grin grin.. I saw Nicki Minaj figures walking around and I couldn't help but wonder to myself how come I didn't notice all these things all my life... Not all of them were curvy, but most of them did have the curves and the booty.

So as an African lady, if you lack self confidence, you might end up having a low self-esteem and using butt pads to look like other African ladies outside.... Even now I'm still shocked by what I saw... grin grin grin
True talk about SA ladies..

Oh wow! That's good to know that you work in healthcare. I perceive you to be someone who has great empathy, and you do have a very lucid style of writing... Devoid of typographic errors.

Aha! I've been aware though that the original stem cell treatments at specialized medical centres can fix things like erectile damages and more on the cellular level.

Treatment can be a bit expensive but it is doable.

Do you go to the gym for the weight loss, or you are on some kinda herbal supplements for that?

Hope you are achieving some positive results in that regard?

You stay safe... Ciao!
Thanks for the compliments..

From my observation, the young guy is doing well for himself and so, I think he would be able to afford any form of treatment that could help him regain proper penile functions..

As for my weight loss journey, I work more with diet.
Herbal tea or supplement is a no for me and then I stopped going to the gym a long time ago. I'm in good shape anyway, thanks to heredity smiley

How's it going pretty?

Glad to know that you grabbed some humor from my earlier post. Your feedback made me smile.

By the way, is he much better now as of 2023 in terms of his ability to regain penile function? OR is penile function gone forever?

It seems to me that you work in healthcare?

Last but not least, what made you to choose that brand name for your NL moniker? Just curious.

Okay, I'll talk to you later.
Take care... Ciao! wink
I'm doing just fine and I hope you are good as well.
I work in a Healthcare facility. As for the young man, I didn't do any follow up even though I've seen him like thrice after discharge. I really hope and pray he'll be alright.

.... And then I chose this moniker because at the time I opened this account, I really loved the drink but not anymore because I'm on a weight loss journey and I think the taste is different from what it used to be.

Have a blessed day

Love is beautiful, however, it can be challenging to manage.

How can one look past the partners' flaws and love them regardless?

Flaws in this context is when a partner lacks common sense.

Urgh! Penile fractures really hurt!
Something to always keep in mind.

It's really about how well... i.e., a gradual build up of passionate hugs, kisses, sex with water-based lubes... NOT the animated, rapid speed of brute thrustings from the dude or broad on top. You don't get to win a gold medal with that.
Oh God! Why did I find this your analogy funny grin
