The revision group is for only people that have registered for the exam. Have you registered?

I got to know of another training center, although this one was not listed on the BCS website as accredited.

Since their prices are almost the same, I'm thinking of just going for the one listed instead.

I am aware of only one accredited training center in Nigeria, does anybody know if there are more than one?

You can also reach out to an accredited training center which may be expensive, in this case, you can combine with someone to purchase them.

The exam cost £20 per paper and there are three papers in the certification category.

This thread is aimed at sharing idea and relevant information as it relates to BCS certificate exam coming up in May.

I have also created a WhatsApp group where we can share materials and possibly have live revisions together as the exam date approaches.

WhatsApp group is for only those that have registered for the exam.

So I got two Job offers within one month, with a big and smaller organization but both salaries are the same.

I accepted both but started with the bigger organization, and in less than two weeks am almost breaking down from stress. The workloads and deadlines are unbearable though you will grow career wise.

Now the offer for the smaller organization is still open and am tempted to resign from this one because of the workload and take up the less stressful job.

Please I need urgent answers so I don't make any huge career mistake. Thank you my fellow nairalanders

Just so you know so that it won't take you by surprise, the stress in the small company may be worse than that in the big company.

Yes the bike has been retrieved. If I tell you the process, you won't be wrong to term me naive. Thing is I don't have time to do all these runs myself.

The rider came yesterday and claims there's no receipt for all the payments made except one. Even that one is not with him as he had to drop it with them to process the paper. And when he's talking, he sounds so sincere that you just have to believe him.

When I asked, I heard that the paper costs 5k, but I spent more than six times that amount all together. I'm spending more than I'm making honestly.

And that was how those touts ruined today for the rider. Delayed for how many hours and finally took the bike to Secretariat.

Guys, the rider just called now that he has been arrested for MOT permit. Yesterday was joint mid-year permit.

Please which one is MOT permit again? this is the snapshot he sent

Those papers are 100% fake, there is no law backing it up, no agency of government it belongs to, neither is it under any local govt. It is just touts that go and print whatever rubbish that comes to their head from time to time, and then they go about harassing and extorting logistics / cargo transporters for money, and sometimes they bribe enforcement to help them arrest logistics transporters so it will look as if they are legit and have direct govt backing.

I'm sure you are right. I mean the name "mid-year agency of Nigeria" does not even make sense and the rider can't be forging and printing these certificates and tickets all the time.

Is his dispatch rider using his head or has Lagos become so unfriendly for doing logistics/dispatch business?

I have a friend that runs a bike delivery business in Lagos. Every now and then, his rider will call that he has been arrested by task force for one paper or the other, that they have seized his bike, his key. That he should send money. This results in delays and expenses.

Every year, there are some papers he renew, there are others he renew every six months. Yet the rider comes with new papers periodically. The paper he was arrested for yesterday was mid-year permit by joint mid-year agency of Nigeria. I have googled that organization but found nothing about them. I mean he can't be forging these papers every now and then. The guy now has lots of papers and stickers and I know more will still come.

Is there a dispatch rider here or anyone that runs a dispatch business? Please share your experience and advice.
