@rickleye I like this … let’s role play . Yeah … and if you believe that I have an aeroplane that I need to sell you. 1. You can always get a new High school Certificate. 2. Does he belong to a WhatsApp group of former class mates. 3. Can he mention anyone with whom they attended school together ? 4. When they raided his house did they burn it down or remove sensitive documents ( which include high school certificate ) 5. Yes , we do not know if he’s the only one but now that he’s been presented with facts what is he going to do about it ? @me Answers to 1 to 3 You and I are discussing about the normal flow of things. The politicians and their attorneys focus on legal requirements. The constitution demands minimum of high school certificate. Therefore anything you present defend it. Tinubu presented CSU certificate. He has the onus to defend it. His academics prior to is not needed in law. For example Obi claims that he has a first degree. For whatever is his reason he didn't present it but his high school certificate. This doesn't demand that he defend anything pre or post. Question 4 For what we read he said that they made away with his sensitive documents. What that mean is entirely his. |
@rickleye If the university was aware 1. Why wasn’t it corrected ? If manual , back then This would mean that each student physically submitted their certificate. It wasn’t mailed. 2. Why was his the only one with the mistake. 3. Why doesn’t the President have a copy of his high school certificate he submitted to College Admissions. 4. Why submit a College Certicate to INEC when the minimum qualification is High School Certificate? @me I'm not Mr tinubu but I try and answer two of the questions: 1 why was this the only with mistake? We wouldn't know if any other one in their set had any error as they weren't investigating all students. Why doesn't the president have a copy of his high school certificate he submitted to college for admission? He said that he lost all his documents when the military raided his house during abacha's regime. |
One of the funniest assertion is that the college records that he used to gain admission recorded him as female but his university admission form had him as a male and they indeed confirmed that a male attended and graduated from their school. Wouldn't common sense teach anyone that in that era when recording was manual that it was a typographic error and the university was aware of it at the point of admission? |
@aswani Sir, you have my sympathy with the way Obidients are making it so easy for people to wrongly tar all Igbo's with the same brush. Hopefully all of this mess will settle down soon and we can all go back to seeing the best of each other regardless of tribe. @me God bless you my brother. |
Was this not what I wrote here and one upstart called me illiterate, fake pastor and all manner of insults. I'm an Igbo but emotions should be detached from some of these things. An accounting practice like Deloitte cannot hire anyhow graduate. Add exonmobil to it that's from USA. Wouldn't they have verified a graduate from their country before hiring? |
As a landlord I can only accept monthly rent from a Nigerian if there is a bank standing order. Excuse plenty even when it's yearly. The excuse go full warehouse when it's monthly ![]() |
Let her show her particulars and proof of ownership. If someone gave her, let her show change of ownership. ![]() |
Lies and attention seeking only. 1) Average UK national with their racist mentality will hardly accept to share apartment with a black more so femal/male. 2) The co-tenant is a fee paying person therefore the issue of being kicked out does not arise. She can only ask to be relocated. No favour is done. Therefore there's nothing like trying to make him comfortable. |
@Daystar7 Stfu! Fake god of man. You're clearly an illiterate if you don't know that all certificates of graduates each year are all signed by the registrar and stored in the sch data base, the one we collect from schs is printed, but the school still retains the copy. How did u not know this if you're a literate. You're here shamelessly defending nonsense and ridiculing RCCG while at it. @me I didn't want to reply you again but because of your use of language I will reply you briefly. Retained in the database for how long? Well this is a faceless forum so anyone can rant. FYI I'm in my late fifties in one of the choice professions. I trained under some of the best hands and fathers of the our profession. I got married in my late twenties by then I held a senior management position. My son is 28 years and got married last year and he's presently outside the shores of this country with his wife about commencing his PhD in engineering. Should I tell you more....in early 1990s I worked closely with Yemi Cardoso (yes present CBN governor) in his Treasury and investment banking outfit on Idowu Taylor street when he was ED business development in Citizens International bank. Do you need more? .... It will interest you to note that I attended Citibank Treasury boss game course with the likes of Funke Osibodu (former Union Bank MD) in 1992 when she was in Treasury department in Citibank. Should I tell you more?..... After the last position I held in a Nigerian/Romanian construction company, since 2016 I decided that I will not take up any regular employment anymore. Any company that wants to hire me should hire me as a consultant. Do you need more..... I'm not rich, not a politician, not a businessman, maybe a little bit of an investor. I'm a pure professional and serve God as a pastor without receiving pay. All the above to the glory of God. I only come here because it has compressed news. I only read and on few occasions comment. Sometimes I come here to laugh to loosen my brain. I like enjoying my Maxwell house coffee each time I read insults written here. It's not everyone that comes here that is one of the boys. There are senior boys that come here too. Some of them can help people like you. So mind your use of words. Oh I have forgotten that you guys insult the great Wole Soyinka here. Bye |
@Daystar7 Being a pastor doesn't make u literate or give u authority on a case you're completely know nothing about. A graduate certificate and whatever paper u sign for people isn't in anyway the same. Certificate is given by the sch after being duly signed by those in charge which in most cases is signed by the registrar and if lost you can always go back to the sch to request for a fresh one after making necessary reports. Court and police and then pay dues to procure the same certificate as it's already in the sch database. I'm a graduate myself, I find it hard to understand Tinubu's problem with presenting his first class in Accounting certificate. Who even made u a Pastor? As a pastor y are u supporting evil and being openly biased. Is that what ur own god would have you do. RCCG for that matter. Where's the place of integrity honesty? @me You just opened your mouth waaaaah. I wasn't talking about integrity or any of the things you just opened your mouth waaaaah. Read what atiku is contesting and I commented based on what atiku is contesting in court. Thanks for the lecture about how a replacement certificate is obtained. This is not atiku's issue. Read his main issue and read my comment. |
@STARGREEN Elnora Daniel, Niva Lubin joined CSU decades after Tinubu ‘graduated’ in 1979, couldn’t have signed his certificate, Atiku tells court[/b] The more you look deeper, the more you see, the more it looks scaring. I'm yet to read of something of excellent about . @me If this is what atiku is talking about this is arrant nonsense. Tinubu said that he lost the originals of his certificates when abacha's men invaded his house. Any certificate issued by the school is just a replacement and can only be signed by the people currently in charge. I'm a pastor in rccg just last Sunday I signed 62 baptismal and workers in training certificates Some of them baptized long ago. One precisely baptized in 1998. This was entered in her certificate. I resumed in my new station last year. Will someone then raise an issue that how come she claimed to have baptized in 1998 while the man that signed it resumed in 2022? |
Two options: 1) get her and make an offer to her asking for the breaking of the oath. It binds both of you. 2) The easiest.... accept Jesus as your personal lord and saviour. Be born again and start attending a serious bible believing church. Confess to your pastor and he will lead you through series of scriptural confessions. After that he will pray for you and break the oath. Ensure that you don't scam God by going back to the world. |
I guess all these guys that sleep around with ladies una mind no dey go this way. Flee from fornication. |
@MXrep Relocating business is not easy. Compensation is never equal to actual property value. Land is never included in compensation. Dialogue for this demolition has been on going for long. @me How long has Oti been a governor for dialogue to go on for long? Where is Oti getting the money? This is one of the fruits of subsidy removal. Every state government is richer. |
Any car of this range that is sold in the open market is a dead car. |
@mrvitalis Benin has zero import duty so yes they can afford things we can't If you no sabi something ask Import duty in Nigeria is over 100% @me Zero import duty on all goods? How will they make money to maintain their facilities? Which in the world practice this? Haba..... reduce your lies. |
@Chinjo2 That is what your party gave us in 8 years. Thank God you now have the opportunity to clear the mess your party created. To even think that this is the same ministry Babatunde Raji Fashola presided over still baffles me. @me The damage was done during PDP days. Buhari's regime ameliorated it. Buhari failed in other things but tried in road infrastructure. You people should be telling the truth and not politics all the time. |
@mrvitalis The state Buhari left Nigeria has little or nothing to do with where we are today Yes it was bad but not this bad Removing of fuel subsidy, floating naira without having backing brought us here Buhari is a failure yes but at least he was careful Tinubu and his team are even more ignorant than Buhari team and are too carefree Economy no be by gra gra... You tackle is slowly None, zero of tinubu policy has worked all backfired leaving us far worse where we started . @me Did you read the report that the backlog was pre Tinubu and that is was the nonpayment of the backlog that is making exporters to reject cbn's LC. Dollar from official source has dried up. What is the cause? Off course low export earning. This has led importers to source dollar from the pararel market. This is the reason for the ever increasing rate of exchange and widening gap between the official and pararel rates. What is the solution? Increase exports and lower your imports. The export that you can increase immediately is oil. Therefore curtail oil theft and encourage production. That's why the president is courting the majors to come back to production. Further source of inflow is to look for low fruits: FDI and diaspora inflow. Is that not what the president is doing? I don't know how people think that a knocked engine of a car can come back to life easily by putting oil into it and start it. |
Does this labour leaders understand what they are saying. A government of barely 4 months. A minister of less than two months should just rush decisions that have wide implications? Come on!!! Let's be reasonable. |
The NLC are making all the noise. Have they noticed that all state governors irrespective of party are supporting tinubu on this? State governments are now paying salaries regularly. Where is the money coming from? Some of them (including labour party) are now executing projects and paying contractors. Where's the money coming from? Some that couldn't pay salaries before have now increased their workers salaries and paying regularly. Where is the money coming from? The truth is that Nigerians have been living a subsidized life all this while. We ate our today's food some years back. We have been living fake life. A nation that does not produce and does not pay direct tax living luxurious life. Our revenue to GDP ratio is one of the lowest in the world. The reemergence of our borrowing from the tail end of Jonathan's regime to entire buhari's regime was because your expenditure was more than your income. Of course you have to borrow to fill the gap. A guy came and said that this borrowing which in itself is fake life must stop. The only way is for me to remove the fake lifestyle. Were you expecting the citizens particularly the ignorant to be smiling? |
Talk is cheap. Why didn't you apply all these when you were in charge of Anambra so that you can use it as evidence of your ability. The person that you are referring to his performance in Lagos showcases his ability and he uses it to market himself. |
No big deal. What the country needs most is to set up sound technical schools. It's not compulsory that everyone must go to university. It's because university education has become for Tom, Dick and Harry that's why so many unserious students find their way in. This breeds pay and collect certificates, cultism, sex for grades etc. The western countries that we copy, most of their nationals only attended technical schools after high school. Their universities are populated by immigrants. ASU wants universities to be well funded where government has dwindling revenue and competing interests but they don't want universities to be independent by raising their own funds. |
@duro4chang The same party that threatened to kill the judges before the judgment? @me Don't mind them. What people do not understand is that judges are human beings. When petitioners or respondents' lawyers and supporters decide to be hostile to them using social media, this will anger judges and it will show in their use of language against such people. It will even make them withdraw every leniency. No judge for example will show favourable consideration to a convicted person that is unruly during any plea of alocutus. |
I don't think that this is true. No judge will give any unfavorable judgement against a person because that person's party has no structure. The judge is aware that his decision is subject to judicial review by a higher court. I just believe that Sani was misquoted. |

The guilty are always afraid. |

Let's hear the sound first before we know what to recommend. |
Academicians and theories. First thing, do this for the entire UNN and the surrounding towns and let's confirm that this can work. After this market it to industrial estates. If the success is seen everyone will embrace it. |
@BigBashiru Why do Nigerians rejoice over FDI? It's not free...the investor owns whatever they are investing in. @me It generates employment, you earn revenue through tax, csr effect, forex inflow etc. All nations market for FDI. Hia.... Nigerian social media comments. |
@1Sharon Where is in the bible that dreads are a sin? @me Apostle of "where in the bible"....where in the bible is it approved that a GO should look like a ruffian? |
No payment of tax. Nigerians don't pay income tax except those on PAYE which are very few. |
