Dangote is the largest private employer of labour. If he had settled for importation will he be able to employ such large labor? Wouldn't it be easier for him to import petroleum products rather than all the hassles of establishing a refinary? Who will lose?

I support the continuation of his monopoly which comes with employment and heavy payment of taxes. That's how productive capacities are built.

Will the importation cabals allow this to happen? They want quick fix. Just buy and sell. China locked up their economy for years and became a production based country. It was initially painful. Their products looked substandard. They were begging nations to accept them.

Our nation just wants foreigners to come and produce natural resources, export and use it to import finished goods. Our taste is up to high heavens.
