PoliticsRe: "All We Did Was In Vain" - Mike Igini Regrets 10 Years At INEC by Vision101(m): 10:43pm On Feb 20
Racoon:
It is actually painful. E-voting and transmission of result is possible. Those who inherited a better form of electioneering had mad it worst and worst. Imagine everyone in the APC kicking against BVAS, IREv and technology that can minimize electoral criminality and deepens the democratic process.

Till today! Telcos are still telling the Senate that they are capable of e transmission of election results across the length and breath of Nigeria. Imagine these are the industry players talking not a corrupt rubber-stamped stooges criminals manipulating a country to feather their own nests.
Are we not in this country? We know the rate of call dropping and network failure. The same person that you called now just call the person again and the network will tell you that the number that you are calling is not available. This is in the city ooo.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Hosts City Boy Movement South East Team In Awka by Vision101(m): 1:33pm On Feb 20
owobokiri:
Two problems with Soludo:
1) A frightening disdain for Peter Obi that has the potential to lure him into doing or saying anything just to unravel Obi..

2) A vaulting ambition to access every top public office before anyone else, because of his dibbilitating hubris that makes him think he is the smartest kid on the block.

As a governor, he hasn't been specifically brilliant, yet he hasn't been a disaster either. This means that he stands the chance of winning the people over on his political climb if he plays his cards well..

But dude just can't take it easy. He is so invested in Abuja politics that he is desperately ready to throw caution to the wind. And it is that desperation and its accompanying recklessness that will prove to be his archilless heels..
You can't expect a professor of economics to be following a trader. Soludo understands the complexities of Nigeria and Nigerian economy. He was at the center of it management. He knows that Obi lacks the capacity. He knows that PBAT is miles ahead politics aside. He is aware that Obi has never been prepared for the politics and demands of the office of the president contrary to the man that has taken years to prepare. If you are Soludo whom would rather align with?

PoliticsRe: Epstein, Ehud Barak Exploit Nigeria Insurgency To Push Surveillance, Oil Deals by Vision101(m): 11:52pm On Feb 19
SisterAnn:
Excuse me!

Where were you when Tambuwal as Speaker and in PDP collaborated with APC to bring down Jonathan's government?

Excuse me!

Who thwarted the ascendance of Mulikat Akande to Speakership?

Excuse me!

Was Jonathan in control of the national Assembly?

Was his gentleman disposition towards governance not the reason why APC ran him over?

Excuse me!
Answer my question clearly: PDP and APC (in fact there was no APC then) which had majority of the membership of the national Assembly? Who was the president and C in C then. Stop going round and round.
PoliticsRe: Epstein, Ehud Barak Exploit Nigeria Insurgency To Push Surveillance, Oil Deals by Vision101(m): 11:35pm On Feb 19
SisterAnn:
Nothing wrong with the moves of both Ehud and Epstein here.

They were techy businessmen who sought to bring their technical expertise to support Nigeria in the fight against terrorism and get paid for the job.

But Reps at the assembly at that time shut it down because of politics ably financed by APC Tinubu to cripple every effort by Jonathan to set Nigeria free because they were preparing to be president in 2023.

Such an evil minded selfish political tragedyist!
So this is the only thing that you can understand from this news? Between APC and PDP which has the majority in the national Assembly at that time? As Jonathan was the president he had all the power and financial muscle to see the deal through if he was sure that the deal was right. Sometimes you don't reason right because you want to call APC bad name.
PoliticsRe: "You’re Not Doing Well” — Bishop Oyedepo Criticises Tinubu’s Government by Vision101(m): 11:24am On Feb 19
Mandate1:
add Sir Adeboye and Prof Soyinka tó the list, these two have refused to accept the govt is doing poorly.
Question: did Bishop Oyedepo say this recently? Answer: no. This is an old video that came out during Buhari's time. It has nothing to do with Tinubu.

You are busy looking for validation by fire by force. You even use none relevant video. Aren't you ashamed.
PoliticsRe: "You’re Not Doing Well” — Bishop Oyedepo Criticises Tinubu’s Government by Vision101(m): 11:14am On Feb 19
TheDemola:
Everyone knows this. Except the agbadorians
From the campaign before the election Oyedepo has never spoken good of Tinubu. He's yes daddy man. Any statement like this will be looked at with the tissue of bias. It will be strange for example for OBJ to say anything good about Tinubu.

Everyday, one new propaganda. Tufiakwa! I spit on the head of Gbola Tinumbu.
You can't understand investment and economics language. That's why you called it propaganda. These are indices that determine the performance of an economy. The Nigerian economy is gradually turning to modern economy unlike your saviour's village artificial padding economics.

Abians cannot afford to lose this God gift of a Governor and his soul to APC...
APC should allow us enjoy good governance in peace... Suddenly those who hate and mock us are now visiting one of our only hope of good governance to destroy his soul just as they visited Governor Peter Mbah.

BusinessRe: Dangote Predicts Naira Will Appreciate To ₦1,100/$ This Year by Vision101(m): 11:30am On Feb 18
nairalanda1:
I would like you to forget about politics and obi vs tinubu, and whatever for five minutes. Give me that time.

Yeah, what you said would benefit us. BUT...and this is a big BUT...Our overall forex income is too too low for a nation our size.

Big nations with really good currency all have one thing in common...a strong manufacturing sector. Dangote is doing his bit, not going to lie....but we need far more than that.

That';s why we still got a long way to go. Sorry, but we got to remove subsides on power, fix security, and all that, and get rid of the idea that we go to school to work for office (that one is nothing no government can do)...maybe we would get there.

That's why I am not improessed. Whoever is in charge.

Five minutes up.
For the first time you said things right. Totally agree.
BusinessRe: Dangote Predicts Naira Will Appreciate To ₦1,100/$ This Year by Vision101(m): 11:20am On Feb 18
nairalanda1:
So long as Nigeria is not producing much more manufactured goods and services, any appreciation of the naira is temporary and fleeting
If over 65% of the fx you spend importing petroleum products is taken off you mean that there will be no real effect? If as a result of removal of padding of the naira the rates went up and discouraged uncontrolled importation of luxuries and irrelevant items, wouldn't this improve the rate?
BusinessRe: Dangote Predicts Naira Will Appreciate To ₦1,100/$ This Year by Vision101(m): 11:12am On Feb 18

How much was Naira before these fraud of a government came in? Now we want to be celebrating fraud in the name of achievement! You can fool some people sometimes, but you can't fool all the people all the time! grin grin
Do you mean the old padded rate? The one that we were borrowing money to subsidize? You can't compare a padded and unpadded hip of a woman. Remove the padding and you will see the true size of the hip of the woman.

You don't know any other thing than to abuse Tinubu. These are rules guiding all political parties. The political parties are not objecting to it but you are here abusing Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Trump Called Nigeria ‘Disgraced’ Over Tinubu’s Certificate Scandal – Obi by Vision101(m): 10:36pm On Feb 17
Orlandoo:
It is an understatement to say Tinubu is a big disgrace to Nigeria. Nigeria has been on a downward spiral since this man snatched and ran away with someone's mandate.
Why is it that everything Obi says is Indonesia, China, Malaysia etc? He didn't ask them whether a president can have only school certificate.

nairalanda1:
You also didn't read that the naira appreciation is due to portfolio investors , not due to investments in productive things , which is basically stating that the appreciation of the naira is a mirage

Infact this is the main point of the article

In other words, the naira appreciation is a mirage.

Oga sometimes it's good to actually read and understand things. The guy is actually blasting the apc government and tinubu. Unless you want to tell me that production is improving..lol.
Where is the blasting there Mr propaganda? Economic decisions have pros and cons. For one factor to work certain factors must remain constant. The writer has pointed out that the thinking shouldn't be one way. I'm sure that the managers of the economy are keeping close eyes on all variables. Have you not heard that the CBN is thinking about lowering the interest rates. Everything is not politics.

PoliticsRe: Crowd As President Bola Tinubu Arrives In Yola by Vision101(m): 9:27pm On Feb 16
chatinent:
Leadership is judged by hiring crowd in Nigeria not by reality. That is why politicians make the electorates believe support comes from the number of crowds you can afford to buy...not even from the work you put in place.

Tinubu cannot even campaign with what he has done. He's done nothing to alleviate poverty.

Most people supporting Tinubu are:

1. Not in Nigeria.
2. Benefactors of alliances and not even love for country.
3. Oh-yes members feeding off from the leftovers.
4. Na-our-brother.
5. Party members.
6. Sponsored supporters/Influencers.

Update: I really don't care what you supporters of a failed govt think.
We don't care what you write.

Let the government sue him like they sued Sowore if e sure for them. Forget about the cry of political persecution, that one is already a known regular trademark of this government, so it's no longer news.
So the government should spend all their time suing every Tom Dick and Harry that makes unfounded allegations against it? So that they will succeed in their game of distraction? Can't you see through the game of elrufai? Why is he bringing all these allegations now that he has a big case in his hands? He has a date today Monday with efcc over a petition signed by majority of members of kaduna state of assembly. The ICPC is chasing him over petitions against him. By his taping phone talk the eyes of of DSS will be upon him.

Whether kano or kaduna governments or their governors. Are they no records?

This one they are both shifting blames like they aren't records!
Something happened in a state that you are in charge years after you begin to call name of someone in charge of another state. Why didn't you call it then? So you are so weak that another governor will come and sponsor crime in your state and you keep quiet. I think elrufai's brilliance is making him feel that others are fools.

The response is political. Coming from a government that denied the kidnapping of more than 100 christians in Kaduna.

If any oppostion member dies in an unexplained circumstance, we know who to hold responsible.
He who alleged must bring proof. It's trite in law. Elrufai has been running his mouth too much of late. If they pick him up the opposition will cry political prosecution.
