LagosOrigin: APC claimed that the won the 2023 presidential election and it's still them that has never slept with two eyes closed because of Peter Obi.
Peter Obi must be really dealing with them walahi Obi is not dealing with anybody. In 2023 Tinubu's focus was on Buhari's cabinet members that hated him. This includes emefiele. He also focused on Atiku. He never expected the effect of endsars and youth frustration. Obi used these to spring surprise. This has made Obi to think too much of himself. Right now PBAT's focus includes Obi. Obi will never spring such surprise as in 2023 irrespective of any party that he joins. Bookmark 🔖 this. |

Remember Obi said he will be rule Nigeria only for a single term. You will then take over from him in 2031. This is simple mathematics Obi is partyless as at now. Which party does he belong to? He seems to forget that the element of surprise that took place in 2023 will not happen again. Anambra governorship election should be a lesson to him. |

Tinubu is not Buhari and he has no organic followers anywhere. Not in the North and certainly not in the South. Unlike Buhari whose popularity singlehandedly made others governors, Tinubu is banking on riding on the popularity of governors. It won't be enough. The governors may deliver themselves but still fail to deliver Tinubu. We saw it happen in several APC states in 2023. Political calculator. Reality is different. You have so much time. |

What wike said is an "open secret". Tinubu said that the day he decided to participate in politics he had known that his middle name is abuse. That's why he cares less why you abuse him. He sets his goals and carry them on and allow you to abuse. Great leaders are like this. They don't allow abuse to distract them. Wike is an understudy of PBAT politics. |

Ofunaofu: He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
Fayose served as governor of Ekiti State for eight years but has failed to publicly account for the funds he received on behalf of the people and how they were used. Despite this, he now makes unfounded allegations against Makinde, accusing him of receiving a N50 billion intervention fund.
If Fayose insists that Tinubu gave Makinde N50 billion, and he is denying it, then Tinubu owes Nigerians an explanation: whether such money was given, how it was transferred, which account received it, or whether it was moved through bullion vans and whether the funds came from his personal resources or from the nation’s common wealth. Diversion and always diverting. You love to bring Tinubu's name in. Did Tinubu accuse Makinde? Fayose accused Makinde. Makinde countered and challenged him to show proof. Fayose has shown proof. Is it not up to Makinde to counter or take fayose to court? Why are you standing as Makinde's attorney? Why are you shifting the onus of proof on someone that is not part this fight? When Makinde made a revelation concerning Wike you hailed it. Did you call Tinubu to come and confirm if what Makinde said is true? |
Politics › Re: Ibadan Explosion: Fayose Releases Documents, Insists FG Gave Makinde ₦50 Billion by Vision101(m): 4:21pm On Dec 28, 2025 |
AMINDA: A request for disbursement is not tantamount to money being released, although I expect Tinubu's camp to lap it up. Wale Edun already told us the budget was largely unfunded with a lot of revenue shortfalls. If core capital projects from 2024 are still being carried over into 2026 with trillions owed to local contractors, are we to believe that the Tinubu government was magnanimous enough to release a 50 billion naira largesse to Seyi Makinde simply because it was requested for? Are you Makinde's spokesman? |

Only then can he be taken seriously over his infantile claims that Makinde received a N50 billion intervention fund from Tinubu. Here we go again. An major issue has come, proofs are in the public domain. Let's see it to the end. In our style there will be distractions. Fayose has this proof, if you have any again against him bring it up. Why is Yusuf tuggar the minister of foreign affairs acting as intermediary between the US government and tinubu.
This kind of "joint operation" ought to have been a direct communication between president tinubu and the American president/military with the active collaboration and awareness of the Nigerian army.
Not the foreign affairs ministry or minister.
There is a comma somewhere in all of these! You can add or minus the comma. Presidents or countries can choose their favoured channel of communication or protocol. When you become president choose yours. |

sundayezege4: Nigerians should be ready for the biggest and disastrous protest in Africa come first January. Because we can't watch tinubu destroy the work of our past leaders. Tax reforms to you means destruction of the work of our past leaders? Really? Back in the first Republic that everyone claims that they did very well there were taxes. Tax disappeared immediately we discovered oil. Governance became straight jack. Sell oil and money will be everywhere. Now oil contribution to our GDP is very low. Tax has to fill the gap. Experts agree that Nigeria's tax to GDP ratio is one of the lowest in the world. Which means that Nigerians are low tax payers. For example people sell properties and securities regularly but very few know about CGT. People swim in massive inherited wealth but we don't hear of CTT. The good thing about tax is that the revenue generated is reflective of the level of activity in the economy. High economic activity high tax revenue. What is needed from January 2026 is tax planning. While tax evasion is illegal, tax avoidance is legal. In planning your economic activity always consider the tax effect. We used to hear how people go to jail because they evaded tax in the so called sane clime. Have we heard such in Nigeria? We are moving in that direction. PBAT is building a modern economy and not the old fashioned Nigerian economy of buying and selling. |

Maybe they should start with telling us what they expended all the revenue Nigeria generated for the past years. Quick to throw out numbers when it suits them. As soon as oil was discovered Nigerians forgot about tax. It was easy life all the way. I remembered when I was a little child in the 60s in East Central state my father even in the village were paying tax. The tax collectors used to block the road to collect tax. The villagers were paying bicycle rate. |

Stop condemning Nigerian churches from far. Attend some of big Nigerian churches as first timer and you would be amazed at the gift that you will receive. The petrol you're talking about, how much did he meet it? You can now say we were paying trillions in subsidy, ok he removed it, where is the money saved, have Nigerians been better off since then?
The no scarcity of petrol you talked about, is it about availability or affordability. How many people can go to the petrol station and fill their tanks. Come to think of it, the availability and price reduction is done by one man, Dangote. He is fighting a lone battle against Tinubu’s cabal who import petrol and create scarcity to shoot up prices. The availability is not government's own achievements.
You people and rice. You guys are clowns. Your Tinubu met that commodity at 7k/50kg. Increased it to over 100k due to his incompetence and bad policies.
