Enemies of progress at work. Nigerians hate development and this is core proof. Baba wan use funds to develop his people and haters on his neck. No be by force to share funds . Abia state will be the best and most developed state in Nigeria in less than 8 years
We have started. Chest beating and always too loud. This little effort by Oti has turned to Abia becoming the most developed state in Nigeria in less than 8 years. Meanwhile abia's proposed 2026 budget is just a quarter of the budget of a particular state which I will not mention. Let us be a little modest.
PoliticsRe: Why Did Tinubu Wait For Trump’s Insults Before Acting? by Vision101(m): 12:11pm On Dec 02, 2025
mohbadliveson:
Tinibu is overwhelmed. Dishing out advice to Buhari and GEJ. Now he is in charge but he can't do the things he was advocating
I don't agree. Tinubu right from day one focused on economy. Ask any apolitical person that is knowledgeable in economics and the person will tell you that Nigerian economy was in ICU when Tinubu took over. So much effort was needed to steady and turn things around.

I listen from beginning to the end during annual bankers conference and read from people that have no interest in politics but are core professionals, the general opinion is that;

Nigeria economy has stabilized
External shocks are minimized because oil now contributes very low to our GDP. Because of what was done the Trump tariff madness that is shaking the world economy has not affected Nigeria.
The economy has been positioned for growth that is sustainable. It's actually going to operate like a modern economy.
The turning point year is 2026.

Tinubu didn't give the same attention to security which is actually the foundation for growth. He equally inherited challenges in this sector that look intractable.

Haters and opposition having now seen that using price of rice and exchange rate to attack Tinubu will not work again because the dividends of his regime on the economy is beginning to show, they have shifted to security.

But trust Tinubu. All his focus now is on security. He will bring his usual attitude to it. Definitely he will get it right. Just watch.
Foreign AffairsRe: 11 US Warships And 15,000 Troops Now In Caribbean As Venezuela Tension Escalate by Vision101(m): 10:20pm On Dec 01, 2025
Brendaniel:
Looks like Trump is looking for a regime change, exactly what is really needed right now in Nigeria, for those who are talking about U.S coming to take oil from Venezuela, I'm not ruling that out, but I don't think that's the interest here, ask yourself a country with the largest oil reserves in the world is so poor and also if the oil was so profitable for them, why are the youths more into drug sales than oil?

Here it is:

1. The sulfur content in Venezuelan oil is one of the highest in the world making it harder and more costly to refine, so it is not attractive for buyers in the world like the Nigerian crude oil and some others, you see why it may not really make sense for the U.S to invade them for something that is not rushed after like others.

2. If a government is seen to be complicit in support of terror or drugs that is affecting the U.S directly then that could be another point, I saw some people mentioning Mexico in the other thread, but Mexico has recently improved their crackdown on drug cartels, though a lot of work still needs to be done and also have been partnering with U.S to take down cartels, I don't think it is the same with Venezuelan government.

3. Cartels know that these drugs come with addiction to the users and there are cases where they lure people with samples for free and the addiction starts which causes them to start stealing and wrecking their lives for the supply.

My question to those seeking Maduro to stay in power, I mean what exactly is the benefit of him staying in power while the country keeps sinking and getting poorer, their inflation was so bad at some point, they stopped counting money in supermarkets, they just bring a scale and weigh your money and give you the item you purchase, price of goods were now sold by weight of the money and not the value.

I even watched a prison documentary and if you think Nigerian prison is bad then you need to visit Venezuela, the prisoners carry guns inside the prison, they have their own police, they have their president and even court, prisoners sentence prisoners inside the prison, some prisoners don't want to leave the prison because it is safer for them due to cartel members looking for them to kill outside.

I notice a lot of people not supporting Trump are Tinubu supporters because they don't want same happening in Nigeria to Tinubu who is doing damage to Nigeria.
Let Trump come na. Worst case he removes Tinubu with his power. That will not change Tinubu's wealth or life. Then which person will Trump install and from which tribe? And you believe that Tinubu's tribe will keep quiet having known the hatred and circumstances that led to his removal? Can Trump manage the fall out that will develop through his actions? Meanwhile while Nigerian tribes are fighting themselves trump and his America will be busy pondering our wealth.

Oga they were not sacked by Abia state government in the 90s when the state was created make you slow down with the lies.
Show me one civil servant that is of Imo origin that is still in Abia state civil service now. I work in Aba and I have first hand information.

History will forever remember Bola Tinubu as the man that institutionalized Igbo hate from Lagos state to the federal level.

I hope his people are taking note, not tomorrow they try to twist history, all we want is for Yorubas to be proud and bold enough not to deny their bigotry against Igbos today, they should own it with their full chest today and in the future, that's all, time will tell.

I know that to majority of Yorubas, Igbos cannot do anything, they should do their worst. To them, all is perfect with the Yorubas and Igbos cannot do Yoruba anything till the world ends.

But just to remind you all, that pay back for Tinubu's unjust institutional bigotry and bias against Igbos using state institutions and collective federal authority will definitely come but don't expect the pay back to come from the Igbos, nobody can tell how the pay back will come, but it will definitely boomerang cos nature abhors injustice of this manner, bookmark this page today.
PBAT hates Igbos from Lagos to Abuja. Are you kidding me? I have leaved in Lagos from age 15 up till now. Under Tinubu as governor, there were Igbos as commissioners. There were Igbos as teachers and some as head teachers. Those of them that retired are enjoying their pension. I have a relation. The free education of the government was enjoyed by igbo children. Free waec fees and books were given.

Compare the above and Abia. When it was created out of old Imo state some civil servants of Imo origin were transferred to Abia. All none indigens that were transferred were sacked by Abia state government.

Oya go ahead and call me any name that you like because I said the truth.

Yes we'll keep calling him till he's disgraced out of that office and the country can start healing and rebuilding from the 12 years the useless gang robbed Nigerians of.

No amount of stupid gaslighting can make this go away. What is bad is bad, don't try to sugarcoat it. We know who Agbadorians are now. The people who praised Buhari for 8 years as the best, then condemned him as the worst soon after he left office. When they are in power, they tell you to call your state governor, when they are in power, they start blaming FG like they did GEJ.

Because of Agbadorians, we no longer have a path to credible elections. The hardwork and progress over the years to get to credible elections started by Yar'Adua and continued by GEJ, collapsed back to the OBJ era. We moved 20 years backwards, even far worse.

Because of Agbadorians, insecurity is no longer something the people have confidence in the police to handle, it's now a national crisis. We didn't have terr**sts parading round the country unchecked, we didn't have mass kidnappings for ransom.

Just imagine how a human being is comparing insecurity back in the day to today's national crisis with terr***sts making tiktok videos and even governors have open negotiations for peace.

When BH struck, OBJ fought back, so did Yar'Adua, so did GEJ. This man is under siege just because of elections, the danger of having someone rule with fewer supporters than those who oppose him.

Gaslighting and trying to whitewash reality won't work.

Tueh!
I'm not whatever you think. I just stated facts. You read and see what you are saying because with free 50 MB anyone can take any picture, write anything and post. If it was the days that I stated the only sources of news are radio, TV and print media. Most of the electronic media were owned by government and they are highly censored. The states where created by the military
Third mainland bridge
Abuja the new capital
The conference center Abuja which Wike refurbished and named after Tinubu was built by Babangida
We didn’t have long lasting insecurity like this

The bottom line is insecurity
Without security it’s difficult to pursue development
So the bedrock most be fixed if not people will keep supporting the military
Yes politicians are very corrupt but the military are the worst. During their time money was flowing. The foundation that would have avoided the challenges of today would have be laid then. They can do anything. No one checks them. They prepare their budget, approve and execute all alone. You heard about Abacha because he is late. The other ones living did more than Abacha but no one can talk because they are alive. Where is Gloria Okon?

The over centralization of every thing came through the military. The corruption in the military today came through their time. The flawed constitution that we are using now was given to us by them. The spirit of competition among the regions in the first Republic was destroyed by them. We can go on and on.

Keep calling only the man at the center. The state governor that invited OBJ has a constitutional duty to protect his state. He will not play his own part but standby and await Abuja. What is he using his security vote for? Lagos state is safe today because the government spends a fortune on security. They spend heavily to equip the police in the state. There are various paramilitary organizations in the state. What are other governors doing?

Insecurity and kidnapping didn't start today. The only dimension is the abduction of school children. There was a time when Abia especially Aba was no go area. The same happened in onitsha. Broad daylight armed robbery was the order of the day. Banks were robbed during day time. Some banks shut some of their branches permanently. Anytime from 7 pm it was dangerous to be outside. OBJ was the president but nobody was calling him. The kidnapping that time was targeted at the well-to-do and their families. Today if they kidnap or kill anybody even in villages then they will call the man in Abuja.
