PoliticsRe: Tambuwal Accuses Tinubu Of Destabilising Opposition Parties by Vision101(m): 12:52pm On Sep 06, 2025
Dalohad:
That is his modus operandi' of turning Nigeria to a One-party state..

Once the sees that a party is giving him a run for his money, he will start paying people within that party to cause dissident and destabilise that party. With Wike at other end bribing judges to give obnoxious judgements in favour of the trouble-makers in those parties..

Tinubu was never a democrat. Na feudal lord him be.

There are powers higher than him and he will contend with that soon enough. Insha Allah.
Funny 🤣. Very 🤣😂 funny. Who is that fighter that will not work to weaken his opposition?

If the opposition know that this is the strategy of your opponent why must you allow him to succeed? Failures give excuses. Didn't Tambuwal make efforts to weaken his opposition?

During OBJ's time the main opposition in the south west was AC. Everything was done to take over the entire South West. He did everything to take over Lagos. He withheld their statutory allocation. The political chess master in charge of Lagos didn't go every where crying. He resisted him and succeeded in taking back some of the states. Today he's part of a national party.

Only failures complain and use it as excuse.

What is going on in this country?

Akpabio has finished our legislature.
Are you not a Nigerian? You can institute an action under the FOI act and ask the government to publish details and you can go ahead and investigate. Hence the rest of us are too lazy and only you is hard working.

Dangote and his cousin (Alhaji Sayyu Ali Dantata) are slave-drivers, exploitative and monopolistic in their insatiable greed for wealth and more wealth.

What they intend to achieve is to make unionism a "crime" so that all employees under both men could be enslaved without an avenue for agitation for their rights as guaranteed by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).

Despite the several financial leeways accorded him by successive administrations, this is how he wants to repay Nigerians.

This is one battle that he and his cousin cannot win.

NUPENG must rise up to the occasion and put a stop to the Feudal Lords' cruel policy of forbidding unionism.

Enough of the shenanigans!

Aluta continua!

Victoria acerta!

@hotseat
Rubbish...... I have my company and it's my right to give you condition of employment. If you like it you sign and take up employment. If you don't want you try somewhere else and another person will take your position.

Have you not noticed over the years that banks don't have unions. Where is NUBIFE? Have you ever heard of strikes in the banking sector for so many years?

NUPENG is scared that they can't hold the nation to ransom anymore with what Dangote wants to do. Their leaders want to feed fat on check-off dues from Dangote drivers. Other Dangote truck drivers do they belong to unions?

Dangote has fought the oil cabal and won them is it the small fly like NUPENG that he cannot? The days of threats by oil workers are coming to an end.

In Lagos NUPENG members will park anyhow. If Lagos State government tow their vehicles they will go on strike.

it's all about politics.

Nigerian people's purchasing power is dying everyday. Nigerians now buy mostly what they need to survive like basic food, etc, and those that use to patronize ShopRite and other big shopping malls now go back to traditional markets due to harsh economy.

Nigeria's Middleclass population that made ShopRite and other big shopping malls and outlets to boom are almost gone; most lost their jobs, relocated to remote areas, some migrated abroad, many got kidnapped, so Nigeria currently have very insignificant Middleclass population all thanks to Bola Tinubu's thoughtless and insensitive economic policies that created more poor people than rich people in Nigeria.

So tell me how is not politics?
Nay ShopRite deals mainly on imported goods. We are saying no more subsidy on imports through cheap dollar. Other super stores are springing up. JustRite is an example. Online business and home delivery has taken over.

On September 2 I ordered online and received goods worth #72k. They were delivered to my office. They are all Nigerian made products. They are all over the social media. Who get time to support South African economy through ShopRite?

Why are they still borrowing if we make this much from just non oil Revenues?
Together with oil Revenues, we don't have need to borrow
An economy is not like receive monthly salaries and spend. Why borrow?

For economic expansion
To provide services pending the arrival of your income
To fund infrastructure that will grow the economy.

Dangote is still borrowing even though he's the richest man in Africa. He's not foolish.

We should be concerned about how borrowed funds are spent.

Sometimes you limit your growth if you refuse to borrow.

Which country economy is stable? Is tinibu talking about the Nigeria we know or another Nigeria we don't know of?

Abeg helinues, help us ask your principal why dollar exchange rate is still very high.
The rate of dollar has been adjusted to reflect the level of your productivity. Not the subsidized old rate that doesn't reflect your true productivity. What you should be talking about is the volatility which was the issue at the early days of reform. This doesn't exist anymore. The exchange rate is relatively stable now. Companies can now plan. One of the objectives of the devaluation is to eliminate corruption in the fx market. This has been achieved. No more arbitrage. Further reckless importation has been eliminated because imported goods are very expensive.

Rigging apart it will be difficult to have a politician that will defeat PBAT. Forget hatred by a section. This is a politician that spent years to build his loyalty. Obi just woke up yesterday. Amongst the class of 1999 state governors which of them is still relevant in politics? From 2007 till 2023 -- 16 years he didn't hold any political office but he was still powerful.

Very few can overcome what he went through to get his party's nomination. Everything was done by his own party and even the president to make him lose the election. The post-election fight against him has never been seen in Nigerian politics.

Now he has state power, personal wealth, personal media, long term political associates and possibly a turn around of Nigerian economy in four years. Do you think that winning election against him will be a work in the pack?

COS - certificate of sponsorship. This is issued by companies that have home office license to employ immigrants that meet certain criteria. Every visa must have a sponsor.

Study visa cos is issued by the school that admitted the person.

Skilled worker visa cos is sponsored by licensed employer.

Upon forwarding the cos to the home office then the visa is issued to the person sponsored.

Why will you prefer to buy expensive fuel in exchange for availability.

From me
So that I can invest my time in productive venture and save my health. Most times we bribed the attendants. Back then fuel station managers and attendants were like kings. Now they sit idle waiting for us.

From you
What guarantee do you have that the expensive fuel you buy now is not adulterated?

From me
I'm buying direct from the filling station and not black market hawkers. If anything go wrong I'll hold the station.

Nigeria is becoming a joke, to be sincere, You there not speak against the insanity of the APC , You are witch hunted and termed with unfounded charges, Tinubu and Wike should be ready to face the music, when there tenure of impunity is over.
If we want to sanitize our system it must start from somewhere and with someone as example. It doesn't matter who the person is.

A man that live in Lagos bought a new car worth millions, took it to licensing office for registration. Of course his address and details were captured in autoreg. The LSIRS sent a text message congratulating him on his new acquisition. A few days later a BOJ tax assessment was sent to his line. A few weeks later a demand notice was placed at his residence. He ignored it. Few weeks later final notice was sent. He informed an accountant who warned him that he risks paying the whole amount or being jailed if he refuses to pay.

He quickly hired a tax consultant who was able to argue his BOJ assessment and reduced the amount. He paid the reduced assessment and of course paid the consultant a handsome fee.

This is how it should be and this is what obtains in the countries we so much love to compare. If this is enforced you will notice that all our leaders from president to the least, Obi inclusive have been living large on our wealth. Money will be everywhere and there will be no need to borrow.

This is why I don't believe in the man that keep saying: a new Nigeria is possible. If we open his tax yansh alone he will forfeit all that he's got to Nigeria. They are all the same.

He has been extra vocal in the political space lately, so Gbajabiamila and Wike have opened his book of retribution😭.
Everything is not politics. Tax evasion is a criminal offence anywhere. Most money people in this country don't pay real tax.

They gave him BOJ (best of judgement) assessment. Pay me for consultancy and I'll tell you. We joke with tax in this nation. That's why our tax to GDP ratio is one of the lowest in the world. How can you be ridding cars worth millions and living in mansions worth millions and your are paying a few hundreds of thousands as tax?

You paid hundreds of thousands to secure a passport for your 12 year old girl is why you jacked the cost up to 200,000 and you still say the era of paying hundreds of thousands is over

And he even says Nigeria will be happy with a 100% price increase
Yeah..... Nigerians like hearing low or cheap official prices that will force them to pay thousands as bribe rather than pay the higher open market price and get it easily. At the end we pay more through bribe.

Today I prefer driving to the filling stations and buy expensive fuel easily than to spend hours on fuel queues and sometimes buy expensive adulterated fuel from black market. All that I need is to plan my movements to reduce cost and forget big man mentality and use public transport in some cases.

There is a fixed number of years service. I can't remember the exact number of years but I think that it's more than 15 years after which the person is retired. That's why it's called short service commission.

I think that bar is Major or there about. That's the highest until retirement. It's different from those that are commissioned through NDA. They don't have any bar.
