Only a weak man complains that someone else is the cause of his problem. PDP problem didn't start today. It started under Jonathan in 2013 and they couldn't solve it. In 2019 they couldn't solve it. In 2023 when Buhari was president they couldn't solve it. They allowed it to spill into 2025 and they are busy calling someone's name.

You see.... the problem of PDP is lack of strong leader after OBJ. APC would have experienced it under Bubu but people like Tinubu worked behind the scene to resolve it. Presently all opposition parties have weak leaders. This is the truth. Obi couldn't organize LP. Atiku couldn't organize PDP. Look at ADC, is there any sign of strong leadership?

The laziest thing to do is to call someone's name. That Turaki is a disgrace. Can you imagine a supposed party leader that wants to take over national government calling on Trump..... please ooo come and help me ooo. Democracy is on trial ooo. Shame shame.

What I don't like about them is the habit of pointing fingers at others in their internal issues. Their problem started in 2022. Was Tinubu there then? It has lingered without solution up to now because of all their selfish interests.

I think the governments - state and federal should close down all boarding schools in the troubled north. Let them operate only as day schools. This will reduce incidents of school children abduction.

What will Trump do. Will he change the way you think as a Nigerian. Will he change the corruption that has eaten deep in us? Will he change the mentality of those getting rich through these crisis? Will he change our tribal and religious inclinations? The people that sabotaged this if you touch them they will run under tribal cover and you here will defend if the persons are from your tribe.

Everything about Nigeria is just too centralized: military, economy, power etc. We need to decentralize.

This is not true. It's flep flop. It's all about personal interests. Makinde, Bala etc know that they can't decamp. If they want to where will they go to? No space for them in APC. If they don't secure PDP they will not have a good platform to contest for their second term.

Meanwhile the other group wants to trade. Receive some and give out some. In a confused situation like this, this is the only solution. This was what solved the Rivers State problem. Wike's camp is angry and Makinde/Bala camp is angry. Atiku was a factor before but he has left. Why is Makinde/Bala camp unwilling to trade? This is what is required in politics. The solution to PDP: eat the humble pie. Go close to PBAT. He's a democrat irrespective of what people say. He knows the key 🗝️ to use to restore PDP. It's not his business but if you come up with humility he can help in the interest of democracy. Already all opposition are not ready for 2027 presidential election but they can pick winnings here and there and be better organized post 2027.

An average Nigerian worker has a lot of time to himself even while on duty. Their problem is just that majority don't make good use of them. Those that do make a lot of bucks. This is not easily allowed in UK. They pay you per hour and you must work for every of the hours paid. Private phone calls are disallowed. Evaluate this too.

It's in the budget. A budget is a statement of expected income and expenditure. Note the word expected. It's not a statement of money received and money spent. Every budget has a performance rate. This means the rate at which the fiscal realities allowed the administrators achieve set goals. The government might or might not borrow all that is approved here.

Nobi OBJ USA rate. Na naija. Back then Nigeria was very rich. Nigeria was major supplier of crude to USA. We were throwing our money up and down in Africa. Our problem according to our leaders was how to spend our money. You didn't need visa to travel to UK. As a youth I got admission to three USA universities. I went to the embassy at Eleke crescent alone, entered and spoke to officers freely. You could pay for books and UK exams by simply buying British postal order at GPO Marina.

So then and now nobi the same. OBJ was part of the problem by manipulating the election and handed over to weak Shagari.

The naval officer was acting under instructions. Wike should have taken up the issue with the naval officer's boss and not resort to insulting the young officer.
As wike was carrying out his duty so also the young officer was also carrying out his own instructions.
Wike should be dealing with the young man's boss but him, having some misplaced delusions of grandeur, felt he can bully the young officer. No NDA graduate will succumb to such bullying tactics.
Wike is under the authority of the president just as the naval officer is under the authority of the C-in C. The young officer is not under Wike's authority.
Notice how the DSS and the policemen (with the exception of one over zealous policeman) did not attempt to wade into the matter because they know the young man was acting under instructions of his superior officer.
