Check the indices? Check the opinion of experts? Check what the governors are doing? Check our balance of payment (which means that we are gradually leaving the tag of import dependent nation). Check the stability of the naira vis-a-vis when the policy started. Check check the downward direction of the rate of inflation. Check accumulated due payments cleared. The airlines are back. Check the rate of provision of infrastructure. Check the profitability of companies. Check the rate of black market fuel back then and now. I'm a pastor in a large Pentecostal church. If I tell you the real fact you will not believe it. Every month that we do our remittance I discovered that if you minus my tithe and my wife's the rest of the ministers tithe has never been more than #30k.

Do you know how many members that I personally sustain? I can go on and on.

Some of the big pastors, do you know how much that they earn through the worldwide sale of their daily devotional which is their personal intellectual property?

The strength of any president is dependent on the strength of their economy. When you bastardize your economy through buying and selling and easy life through subsidy how can any nation respect you.

I don't know of any church that people are forced to pay tithe or give. In any church from my personal experience you just have a hand full of committed givers. These people keep giving and keep prospering. The greater majority give little or nothing and they make the loudest noise against giving.

Tithing or giving like any other Christian practice is faith based. You believe them and practice them then they will work for you. If you don't believe them they will not work for you.
