For adeboye to support tinubu reminds me of the temptations of Jesus Christ, where satan showed him the beauty and glory of the world and Christ rejected the offer..
Christ is not human and so can reject the offer because he has insights of Heaven already...

Ellapthia: Rubbish. Mr governor, You are talking rubbish Sir. Your Excellency Sir, you're not in touch with the economic realities on ground. The removal of fuel subsidy only freed up more funds to be looted by these thieves in power. Any Economic policy that doesn't put the welfare of the people into consideration is not only wicked, but evil and satanic. Same Tinubu fought Jonathan in 2012 when Jonathan wanted to do this. Tinubu led a protest against same. Is Tinubu not a hypocrite for condemning his predecessor for wanting to do a thing then went on to do same thing? I know what I'm going through due to this Tinubu-inflicted hardship. Since today, I haven't seen food to eat. No money. No support anywhere. Pls someone should in God's name help me cos I am weak at attempting to help myself without a headway Don't go and look for something to do. Keep running the same line of how Tinubu protested against Jonathan's subsidy removal. People have adjusted and are making progress under this regime and you are always lamenting. |

Or should I challenge you to show us where any of them reject subsidy removal?
Be bold enough to support your Tinubu rather than telling lie against his opponents to score cheap political point.
It's only Tinubu we've known that play politics with virtually everything and that was why they killed the daughter of Pa. Farotimi and he could say is, where are the cows? We know him that his ambition is so dear to him than the ambition of the general population. Different approaches that they would have toured? Easier said....the different approaches that Atiku used to sell off state enterprises. The unbundling of NEPA and the sell of the units to his friends that neither had technical knowhow nor injected capital. What we have now is worse than the old NEPA. I will come back for your Obi. |

Why did he say fuel at N145 was too expensive? Even at N97, why did he campaign that the price could he lower?
If he knew what he was advocating for was not possible, why did he say such things? It's pure opposition politics. The same way Atiku and Obi that during campaign told us that they will remove subsidy are now opposing BAT's subsidy removal. |

Politics › Re: I Might Not Be Bold Enough To Take Such Decision If I Was The President - Kalu by Vision101(m): 12:18pm On Jan 04, 2025 |
IfnobeGod20: The tax reform is a good bill but not good for some states. You may ask why I said so? Many states don't have the effects that can generate huge amount of tax for them, many of them their tax are gotten from small businesses and the tax reform is proposing none payment of tax to that group of people. That is why you see some governors rejecting it.
Such reform would have been good if we have attained economy buoyancy as a country. Many states are still crawling till date to generate enough tax because they don't have corporations or companies as obtained in some states. I do believe if the reform is done phase by phase, it may work out but taking away the source of state revenue in a sweep won't argur well for them. That is why they are rejecting it. The tax reform is actually economic reform. Many governors are not productive. All that they do is to wait until the end of the month, get shared money from Abuja and spend. The tax reform is saying make your state investor friendly, provide security, attract companies that will generate employment and tax so that your state will have a big share, stop multiple taxes that kill small businesses. In most cases these multiple taxes go to the pockets of the governor and his agents. Is the above not revolutionary? We want transformation but we oppose every transformative idea. |

Tinubu risked his popularity and possible second term at the altar of what he believed in. This is high quality leadership never seen in this nation. Nothing stopped him from printing money and continuing subsidy and multiple exchange rates. Just like as he is taking the tax reform route which no president has taken since colonial times. It has drawn hatred for him from the north but he believed in what he is doing. How many politicians can dare this. |

ivandragon: Clowns. Justifying nonsense.
Why did BAT protest against the removal of subsidy in 2012 since that was the right decision?
Why did BAT protest against pms at N145 after subsidy removal in 2012 but is proud today that pms sells at N1000?
Why did BAT say the exchange rate of N217:$1 in 2014 was too high but is proud of the rate at N1600:$1 today?
Why did BAT promise to bring down the exchange rate to N300:$1 but his sycophants now want Nigerians to believe N1600 is a 'good' rate?
BAT has never had the interest of Nigeria at heart, but his own selfish agenda.
Imagine him romancing chaugory, abacha's bagman and confidante. That just shows that even his nadeco agitations was all smoke and mirrors. Why did BAT protest, why did BAT protest. What stops you from protesting? |
