Any time I enter the filling stations to refill and I see fuel attendants sitting down waiting for customers I smile. I know what it used to be in the past. Long queue, man-hours lost and of course black market.

No more three cars for one family. Fake lifestyles of Nigerians are being reduced. A poor nation living above her means. The politicians are just our only problem. Who will tame them? They are all in one page.... Obi inclusive.

We are getting there but we are paying the price. It's paining everyone.

What the government should do is upgrade Band A customers to a new category called Band A+. Customers in Band A+ would be guaranteed 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply and would pay an additional fixed charge—for example, ₦10 per 24-hour cycle—on top of their normal tariff. This fixed charge would only apply if the distribution company actually delivers 24 hours of uninterrupted supply. If they fail to do so, the charge should not apply and should instead roll over.

Furthermore, if Band A+ customers experience an outage longer than one hour (excluding faults from the National Grid or TCN), the government should impose penalties on the distribution company—for example, fines of ₦10 million for every hour of outage.

Band B customers should be upgraded to Band A, while only Bands C and D should continue to enjoy subsidy temporarily. This will cut the amount of subsidy significantly and cushion the effect of all these economic reforms on the very poor.

Nice one provided they're there to represent christ. Beliecers are supposed to be the light of the world. The only challenge is that many only use the church as a cover up. If I herald a guess I can say that 99% of those who enter politics in Nigeria from the platform of church are not really ambassadors of the Kingdom. You destroyed your write up by mentioning Peter Obi. It shows that you have a political bias. The church is made up of people therefore you should expect the good and the bad. But the very best are in the church. When you put up a good write up like this stop mentioning pretenders names.

Obi should come out serious. Let him tell us in concrete terms what he is going to do different from what is being done now viz exchange rate, return of subsidy, crude production, tax reform, employment etc. We need all these so that we can appropriately judge him. Criticizing without alternatives doesn't make him smart.

My friend this job is very frustrating. Our legal system has too many loopholes. Buhari came thinking it was the military era where tribunal will declare judgement in months but he confessed that our political and legal system frustrates fight for corruption.

Fighting corruption in Nigeria is the most difficult job. Public office holders device various ways, use all manner of connections, offer irresistible bribes, manipulate the legal system and in worst cases threaten lives. For all the money in world I will never accept this job.

Why is Tunubu this paranoid about opposition and what's with the vendetta against people whom he feels have affiliations with opposition figures whether real or imagined? First was the news about one Ms. Achimugu, the alleged mistress of Sanwo-olu whom they accused of funding Atiku and is now facing trial. That also caused some bad blood between him and Sanwo-olu for a while. Before then, was the constant hounding of Dangote and his refinery for allegedly funding opposition. Now it's Ojulari and his business ties with Atiku's son-in-law. One can hazard a guess that the hostile takeover of Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom were done to cut-off perceived sources of funding for opposition. It's becoming paranoia at this point and it's pathetic for someone who obviously got some level of funding from businessmen like Tony Elumelu and Co.

Did you read where it was written that Kyari stopped the relationship because of certain shady deals? Why should it be the earliest action of Ojulari? Who is that person that will directly fund a known enemy. I used the world enemy rather than opposition because the way Nigerian opposition operate is like an enemy. The steps that Atiku took even before PBAT was sworn in and since this two years has been like an enemy and not an opposition.

If Atiku or Obi is the president and PBAT takes these steps would they for any reason fund PBAT directly or indirectly? In the history of Nigerian politics this is the first time that a president will be in office for only two years and heavy politicking will take place two years ahead of election.

When you quote for a world Bank assisted project the job is not given to the lowest bid but the lowest responsive bid. A bid may be low but not responsive. A responsive bid is a bid that can be lowest but must not be below the estimator's valuation of the cost of delivering a quality job. If it's below the estimator's valuation it's called none responsive bid.

A none responsive bid means either that the bidder has no good understanding of how to deliver quality job as specified or he just wants to get the contract, take whatever he's paid and disappear. It shows that he has no clear understanding of what the job entails.

By the enormity of challenges of turning Nigeria around politically, economically, structurally etc. any bidder that wants to rule Nigeria for four years only and promises to deliver accordingly to specification is a none responsive bidder. You can draw your conclusions concerning Obi's promise.

He made a valid and sensible point. Let the opposition provide clear alternative course of action. Let us examine them and make our choices. It shouldn't be about power grabbing and hatred. You might be surprised that they have nothing better.

Some of them want power but they don't know the complexities of Nigerian politics. Some of them might be overwhelmed by a simple process of forming a cabinet. Buhari thought that it was a military regime. You saw how difficult it was for him. So many competing interests.

APC have looked at the numbers and seen that the only way they can win this election is if they are the only ones on the ballot. They are breaking the Nigerian treasury to buy-off any and everyone with a price.

What do you expect him to say after being paid off by Atiku? Is it not laughable that the government will be offering ministerial slots for mere usage of one obscure party when the same individuals can use another party if he refuses?
